Anytime Fitness Trowbridge

Fantastic experience: I hope chris still works here hes a legend does he still have that mustache I recently reviews snap fitness. This is bar far the better gym. When looking at a gym membership it's important to think of what are you getting for your membership. This gym is clean, the equipment is so competently put together they have the right amount of equipment but also it's very specific and thought through to give you amazing variety for whatever your working towards. It's important that the owner and staff have thought about longevity when looking at their customers fitness journey witch is reflected in the equipment choices. Not only that but it's clear this is a gym experience. What I mean by that is not only is your body thought about but so is your mind the bright colours are uplifting and create and mindful atmosphere the showers and lockers are separated properly from the workout space giving you a lobby you can retreat to. This also means you don't feel as though you are stepping our of the shower into the gym making it very comfortable to wash here. The showers are clean and more importantly hot ! They also have 4 showers so if one isn't free in the peak times just wait 5 minutes. The staff are incredible and have your best interests at heart. They are all knowledgeable and have made all the mistakes you have so listen up when they fix your form or tell you to wear different shoes it might just save your knees and or back. A gym you know has squeezed everything out of that monthly payment. Brilliant !

Fantastic experience: I needed a gym that's local to me, but big enough to have all the equipment I could need, and Anytime Fitness Trowbridge fits the bill. I've been going here for years, and it's swapped management a few times since, and each time, their staff has always been very helpful. I've recently renewed my membership and they bent over backwards to accommodate me. On top of that, they've recently been giving the place a touch up with a new lick of paint, so it's looking all fresh and sleek. During the times that I go, the other members are nice and respectful, and there's a really nice gym culture with everyone I've met so far. Solid recommendation in my book!

Fantastic experience: i’ve never felt so welcomed and comfortable in any gym other than anytime fitness. the community of members in the gym are very supportive and friendly, alongside the encouragement from the staff and their efforts to provide extra support. with the help from Casey, Jorin and Akshay, i was able to get some family memebers signed up after years of social anxiety and lack of motivation

Fantastic experience: Started going to Anytime Fitness to help ease my sciatica pain. I went in thinking I wouldn't be able to do much. I got a personal trainer through this gym to help with a specialised fitness plan to help strengthen and reduce the pain. I am now not having to take any pain killers. My strength and flexibility have vastly improved. The staff are very friendly and will help you get the most out of your gym experience.

They are always on hand to provide advice and a smile. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a gym in the Trowbridge area!

Decided to start coming during the day and so glad I made that big step! Thanks guys . P.s the individual shower and loos are really clean too, with added bonus of a hairdryer type blower.

Positive experience: My first time here as I don't live in the area. 1st big negative is that there's no parking. Second, no lockers. 1st positive is that this gym is rather spacious. Second, the manager seemed quite friendly and involved in the running of the gym. He was even saying goodnight to people.. I was also pleased to find a weighted belt for my pull-ups :). Keep strong out there.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVE Anytime Trowbridge. Immediately felt so welcomed and comfortable there. Chris is fantastic and is always there to help you with anything in the gym and does a great spin class! The free induction with him is really helpful to get to know the gym and the equipment, and the free PT session with Olly is amazing- he's brilliant!! Everyone is so friendly. Great range of classes and equipment. I love that you can literally go anytime you want and that if you pay for the year in advance you can freeze your membership if you get sick or go away. Also great referral benefits and membership benefits, like Starbucks! Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Clean and tidy and well equipped, the biggest issue I have is getting in a shower during busy times. However, I have some flexibility so that is not much of an issue for me.

Negative experience: The gym is fine it does the job but the people and how it works are terrible! I have relocated unexpectedly as of April but I let the gym know I’m moving somewhere with no anytime fitnesses in the area a month before Iras set to move. The lady seemed helpful and said the best option was to freeze my account for 6 months then reassess, I was fine with this until I realised they were still charging me! I cancelled the direct debit and tried to contact immediately but all phone calls were ignored. They then call me at all times once I have moved and started at my knee job where sometimes I do 16 hour days with clients, telling me I needed to pay! I then told them the previous conversation where they admitted they messed up and it wasn’t on there as frozen. I then said I didn’t even want to freeze I want to fully leave and they told me to email their manager which I did. I went a week with no catch up on if they got the evidence of my move and even when I try to phone there was no one answering, I also left a message asking for a call back but never received one. After everything it is now June and they want to tell me I need to pay for the months in between even tho I tried cancelling in March and this is all their own mistake. DO NOT GO TO ANYTIME FITNESS TROWBRIDGE they will scam you out of money and treat you terribly.absolutely disgusting gym. !!!UPDATE!!! I rang up the gym again about a month ago as they were then threatening me with the dept collectors. And all I got was staff laughing and saying I was lying about trying to contact and actually talking to a member of staff on the phone because it wasn’t written in my records. In the end I sent multiple complaints to the people who own anytime fitness as a company and then I was told I wouldn’t need to pay, so I advise doing this if your in the same situation. Safe to say this gym will take advantage of students and definitely advantage of young girls. So if your a girl and/or a student don’t go to any anytime fitness gym as my friends have had similar experiences in the Bath one as well. Stay safe an aware everyone!

Negative experience: Never get a membership if you want to get harassed and charged money when you terminate your membership, when I mean harassed, they question why you want to leave and then they don’t stop being up in all your personal business. They also don’t pick up your phone calls, therefore customer service is extremely poor.

Fantastic experience: Staff are friendly and helpful. The gym is well equipped and is spread out. Always found the gym is quiet even at peak times.

Fantastic experience: Anytime Fitness has a decent mix of equipment and comparable floor space to other gyms in Trowbridge but offers the cheapest membership. It's also not as crowded as the other gyms, has several showers and a fitness suite. The main downside is access to parking, as the multistorey is a 3min walk away. Luckily, this isn't an issue between 5pm - 9am as the disabled and taxi bays outside become available to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I love it. Don't care if other people don't. It's my local centre for shopping, so love it, love it, love it! (it's nothing to write home about)

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Contract is unfair, and you are expected to pay over 12 months membership. think wisely before signing up here. Once they have you in their talons, they don't let go.

They declined, because they can cancel when you moved at least 15 miles far from closest gym. So I checked if possible to change membership holder, also declined, so now I'm paying £35 monthly and not using this gym.. Many "thanks" @Anytime fitness #anytimefitness
