Fantastic experience: As someone who has never found a gym that suits my needs finding Dallington Fitness has improved my fitness journey completely! At first, going into the gym was quite scary as it is the largest gym I have ever been to! Despite my worries, I was given a tour of the facilities and a really helpful induction to show me how to use the equipment. There is a ladies only gym which I really appreciate, not many gyms have one of these, so for days where I don't feel like going into the main gym I can easily complete my workouts in there. One of my favourite things about the gym is the classes, you never feel like the newbie and everyone is always super friendly and chatty. Plus they're included in the membership, something which was definitely a reason to try them out. I couldn't recommend Dallington Fitness more! It's affordable, offers so many free classes, has a sauna and steam room (in both the male and female changing rooms), boxing and spin studios and most importantly the staff and members are really friendly, kind and helpful. If you're thinking about joining, just do it!!
Fantastic experience: I've only come to try the place out for one day. The level of service here is truly impressive. Chelsea looked after us really well and was accomodating to levels most gym must learn from. I'll be coming back tomorrow to sign up. This is purely because of the level of excellent treatment we got from the moment we walked in.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym recently as was looking for a place where I can explore different ways of training. I forgot how to use most equipment and had a great induction and refresh on how to use different machines. Staff are really friendly, professional and knowledgable. I was really surprised to see amazing space and variety of areas where you can train- from more private areas, ladies only to busier spaces. Great quality of the equipment. Great facilities and atmosphere. Much better than attending commercial gym!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dallington Gym for 7 years and I could not see myself going anywhere else. The gym is family run and make every member feel like they are part of the family. The gym itself is not an intimidating place, like many gyms can be. Members are friendly and all the instructors are knowledgable and approachable. Dallington is a gym that can cater to anyone, it has an incredible all female zone with everything you need. The main gym is set out perfectly for all your cardio and weight training needs. Dallington delivers energetic, enjoyable and positive classes. The classes are so fun you forget what the time is, and before you know it you have been working out for an hour. If you are thinking of joining this gym do it, you will not regret it. Positive experience: I’m so sorry but I have to downgrade from 5 to 3 stars. Why are you always spritzing chemicals around?! I’m on the treadmill and all I can inhale is your floor cleaner. Or DURING my set, the equipment I’m currently using is wiped down leaving chemicals everywhere. Im going to find another gym where I can actually breathe. Update: it’s interesting how they try to place responsibility on me for not asking the cleaner to not clean the equipment I’m using. Not marked down for being clean but rather disturbing your customers and spraying chemicals around when people are close by. Exercise is supposed to be healthy so I don’t need my gym counteracting this. I’m not the only one who’s written such a complaint. Anyway, I’ve left and found another gym now. No more chemicals and no more broken equipment.
Hi Carrie It is an interesting complaint, are we being marked down for being clean? We have just come out of a world wide viral epidemic which saw the world closed down because of the risk of infection being spread. We have taken on board your concerns as there is a balance. I would have hoped had you approached the cleaner they would have left the equipment and done something else.
Fantastic experience: Wouldn’t change this gym for the world. Amazing classes, trainers and space to train. The staff is always helpful and friendly, highly recommended to everyone!!!

Dear Fathema, Thank-you for your review, and we are most disappointed that you are having problems with the WiFi. We are having some problems with the WiFi and we are looking into getting a better signal to the ladies gym which seems to suffer the most with the dead spot. When you were coming did you let anyone know about your problems? Out of interest, how do you find the new ladies gym itself? Having your own ladies ONLY, facilities must be great? Are you making the most of the new racks and other strength and conditioning equipment we have placed in the Ladies gym? I personally love the extra space it gives and the feedback from other ladies has been very positive. Also the ladies only sauna and steam must be a great bonus, I don't think there is anywhere in Northampton where us ladies can go and relax in such a way. Would you not agree? Fantastic experience: Great Gym, amazing staff and real family vibe. I have been a proud member of this gym for more than 3 years now and I can confidently quote that this is the best gym I have come across in Northampton. Excellent equipment, great service levels and superb hygiene. Even the gym atmosphere is very pleasant and Inclusive. The Management and staff have gone our of their way to create this gym into something really special. Even the prices are very competitive. Negative experience: Poor customer services, no respons in emails. Iw been told I can get induction for the equipment, nothing was arranged even tho I asked. And still I haven't received my credit back from the month they charged that I asked to cancel . Disappointed to be fair
Dear Amadi, We are disappointed that you have been unhappy with the service you have been receiving at the club. I am the General Manager and I have investigated what had taken place with regards to your requests. I have spoken to the reception staff and they haven’t denied or remembered that you had requested an induction. We apologize but they are usually very good at dealing with our members requests. When we checked all our email records this is what was discovered: The first email request from you about your induction was on Saturday 26th February at 10:30. On Sunday 27th at 17:30 you emailed cancelling your membership. On Monday 28th February we responded to your cancellation request and during this email conversation exchange your reason for cancellation was because no one had responded to your induction request on the 26th. We then offered you an induction on the 28th but you declined. I understand you would like a refund for March, unfortunately under the terms of membership we ask for 30 days notice, this allows us time to organize the cancellation request with our agents who are responsible for collecting direct debits. We can still offer you a free gym induction if you would like. I am not clear why we had a 2 star review for the above, it is harsh. Inductions are never promised to be on the same day never mind the next day. If you want to utilize the club for March please do and if we can help you in any way we will. You have the gym managers email so please feel free to ask him personally for an induction, he is an excellent personal trainer.

Positive experience: Men's bigger sauna
Hi Marc, unfortunately due to the construction work our larger sauna is closed. We understand the sauna can only fit 6 to 8 people at any time. It is our intention to do some other works in the men's shower area. However, we believe at only 20 a month to have a sauna and steam, shower gel in all showers is good value compared to many places.
Fantastic experience: They have a restaurant in here now called The Fig Tree. Was very impressed, delicious food and friendly service. Will definitely go here again

Fantastic experience: If you are worried about returning to the gym, then don't be! The team have really thought about how the equipment should be set out so that everyone can exercise safely. There are plenty cleaning stations and the whole place is spotless!

Fantastic experience: Dallington gym has a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, the staff is accommodating and friendly. For some women going to a gym can feel intimidating, this is definitely not the experience here. No matter what your fitness level there is a general acceptance and opportunities for further support in the form of fitness programmes and classes. I love it!

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Great class variety. Can't fault this place really. Been to many gyms around Northampton and none of them quite have this atmosphere. There's a strong sense of community there. Everyone is friendly. Plus, saunas and steam room available which is always a bonus.

Negative experience: Truly awful, the gym is in poor repair. For example the women's locker room has been out of action for months . Poorly cleaned they don't clean the floor after sweaty classes only wipe the sweat off the floor. If you have any issues they penalize you for it and don't solve the root cause.
I am not sure this review is for Dallington Fitness Northampton. Our changing rooms have never in the 8 years we have been managing the club been out of action for months. We clean our studio all the time in between classes and whenever needed. We always have a dedicated cleaner working. Keeping the place clean is one of our key focus points. The last point I have no idea what it's about. Once again this review is not about Dallington Fitness in Northampton.

Fantastic experience: I love it here. Lovely staff! Never been and not seen someone cleaning and tidying. Did my first spin class recently and everyone was kind helping me set up the bike etc when I clearly had no clue. I mean... I almost died... because I am terribly unfit... but they were sweet enough not to point that out. Good for parking (even better that its free), good choice of classes, and theres a bar... Only downside...climbing up the stairs after a 45 min HIIT sesh from the ladies changing rooms... killer Seriously though - sign up

Positive experience: Well laid out, a good mix of people of all abilities. Good Value for the current monthly price. Only small let down is it doesn't have a swimming pool.
Fantastic experience: A very well maintained gym facility excellent staff and a nice friendly atmosphere, a safe place for training and relaxation.
Positive experience: Squash courts are okay and appear well maintained. Prices are not well labelled. The website says £5 for non members but ended up being over £15. Upon bringing it up I was advised that I hadn't read the website properly Changing facilities were good and overall seemed clean.
Fantastic experience: It's a lovely gym and health club. The entrance is an old manor house with a nice bar and coffee lounge and it expands tardis like into modern, extensive and well equipped gyms, squash courts and treatment rooms. There are steam rooms and saunas and the entry and locker system works on a smart wristband system. It has ample free parking and membership is extraordinarily cheap at the moment.
