Fantastic experience: Clean warm and an excellent pool for swimming with friendly staff and very reasonable prices . Book on line or phone to guarentee entry as they don't over fill the pool which is very thoughtful. 100% happy

Negative experience: This is only a review of the climbing wall and not the overall facilities. I bought two climbing wall experience's in December for a Xmas present. Spoke to the sports centre about booking a session and was told they would put me on a WhatsApp chat asking when the climbers instructors would be free. I never got a reply over 7 months. I made contact at least three times. Finally asked for my money back.

Fantastic experience: This is a great, local sports centre. As an occasional user of the swimming pool when visiting the Isle of Wight, this is a great venue. Centrally located in the heart of Freshwater with ample parking onsite and nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. Booking a swim slot is straightforward. Changing rooms are clean and tidy. The pool itself is excellent - 25 metres long and 3 metres deep at the deep end. Also the water isn't over chlorinated like some pools so you don't have that 'swimming in a bath of bleach' experience. Haven't had an experience of the community centre aspects of the centre but there's a lot on offer. Looking forward to visiting again.

Fantastic experience: Lovely, warm and clean. I had a scuba try dive. Pool did have bits floating around in the water that you wouldn't usually see. Showers great.

Booking system makes it good to know there isn't many people in the gym but on a full day everyone is considerate in there. I have social anxiety but everyone there is so nice I don't worry about my time there. Adam always very approachable. Never worried about going there. Lots of room for everybody

Fantastic experience: Honestly to my mind this is the best swimming pool I have been in, in the UK. Great temperature of the water, not too busy, plenty of lanes for swimming, excellent price. The one and only thing I would change are the changing room curtains for doors . I live on the mainland but try to visit this pool when I am over as my local pools are no where near as good.

Positive experience: Great for swimming, The hall is good for indoor sports/clubs and the staff are very friendly. There is an indoor gym but I have not used this myself, there are many clubs and activities advertised on their website. There is also a small cafe in the main entrance.

Fantastic experience: 1st swim today since the lockdown restrictions began. I can say it was just great. All very well run and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. You have to pre book and there were just 3 people per lane. A very pleasant swim.

Positive experience: As the title suggests a community place. Good place to meet and get together with many activities. Parking is not free and the cafe, reception hall can get very loud. The pool is lovely and the baby pool very warm so ideal for tiny babies.

Fantastic experience: I went to the over fifty's exercise class and was made very welcome, great class and fun at that, cup of tea and a chit chat after, highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I've only been here twice but it’s a really nice pool with a normal and kids pool. There is also I think if I can remember a lifeguard. There is also a café and a gym here too.

Fantastic experience: Our son celebrated his 8th birthday party here. We chose the pool option with food included. From the start, the staff were amazingly helpful. We had the pool for an hour completely to ourselves (there were 17 boys) with the floats & matts & they had a blast (the boys as well as the 8 adults that joined them!). The food was great, perfect kids party sandwiches (the fruit kebabs were a winner) with ice lollies to follow. We had 2 vegan kids in our group & they were really well catered for with no extra hassle. When I started to tidy up when the kids were leaving, the staff rushed out & said that they’d do it (& I quote) “leave it to us, that’s what we’re here for” The overall price was very reasonable for the service, venue & food, I couldn’t recommend them enough. I saw that they do other themed party’s, we’ll definitely be back at it was the least stressful & most reasonable party that we’ve hosted so far.. Thank you team, our son loved his party.

Fantastic experience: The Hub of the Community. With so many things going on, there are all sorts of different classes and events including swimming lessons, circuit training, walking football, badminton, birthday parties, a climbing wall, a new gym, an indoor market with many home produce products, a hairdressers an amazing cafe with delicious food that's very, reasonably priced. Even Maths and English lessons, which I have learned from a truly amazing teacher who understands that we all learn in different ways. With many, many more things to keep you busy.
