Fantastic experience: Good service

Negative experience: Я оплатила останній місяць тренувань в залі Дарлінгтона , але мені скасували можливість відвідування . Гроші відмовились повертати , тільки запропонували знову відновити членство через дерект дебіт , а це мінімум на два місяці . Але я не збиралась повертатися до цього клубу знову . Тобто ні грошей не повернули і доступ до відвідування на місяць не надали . Було дуже важко спілкуватись через звернення , тому що відповідь на питання ти можеш отримати мінімум через тиждень . Немає можливості подати офіційну скаргу . Жахливе відношення до клієнтів , особливо іноземців , яким важко спілкуватися по телефону . Перша компанія, яка не повертає гроші клієнтам , якщо не надали сервіс

Positive experience: Aside from the odd piece of fixed weight equipment needing to be replaced it totally fulfils my gym needs. Nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: Love this place, so spacious that there's never a problem getting on any equipment. And for someone who never takes headphones I love the music its decent! Nice atmosphere, can get in, work out..job done. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Huge variety of equipment, well laid out gym and clean changing rooms.

Negative experience: Car parking is an absolute joke shop at peak times. Lost count of the number of times I’ve driven in, not got a space and driven home. Disappointing as the gym is decent if you can get into it. Fine if you live nearby, avoid if you’re a driver.

Negative experience: Accidentally scanned my code twice, can't enter the gym even though it's "24/7", embarrassing service, gotta move to OneGym I guess

Positive experience: A decent JD gym however some of the equipment is looking a little tired such as the numbers wearing off the weight stacks on a few of the machines which is a little annoying. Really wish JD would allow access to the locker rooms 24/7, had to wait quite a while the other night just to use the disabled access.

Fantastic experience: I go in workout and go, no fuss.

Negative experience: Get what you pay for but of your seeking mental health respite and healthy living, spend the more money for a better environment this place is toxic and dangerously run. They have a callous holier then thou mentality. They seriously need some sensitivity training.

Positive experience: A very good gym, plenty of equipment, lots of cables, more than enough benches and some good machines. The gym is let down by members leaving weights on bars, on equipment or on the floor and placing dumbbells/plates back in the wrong spot because they’re too lazy to walk 5 extra metres. This doesn’t seem to be enforced at all by staff as I’ve seen staff watch members do this several times in the couple of months I’ve been going to this gym. It’s basic gym etiquette and frankly members who do this (seems to be a lot) should be banned.

Positive experience: Alright price for the gym. Plenty of equipment, so even when it is busy there are machines and weights to use. Only downside I've found so far is the car park can get really busy, and some of the equipment is Rusty, broken, or missing pieces.

Negative experience: As a former semi pro athlete and military guy, all I can say, that's good about this gym, is the staff. However the gym equipment is cheap and basic, with free weights missing ie number 42kg dumbbell, missing for over 4 months, and the heating system, not working for over 3 months. Shows a lack of respect for members. I personally reported the missing dumbbell over 3 months ago, so no excuses.

Positive experience: Honestly, it's just a decent gym. Music in certain sections is way too loud for no reason, all of the people have their own beat so I don't get it. One suggestion: build a little rest section, so ppl can chill for a few minutes after the workout or wait for their mate to finish up workout, that would be just cool

Fantastic experience: Loads of different kit and equipment and for the size of the place it was quiet on a Tuesday at peak time but would be easily capable of handling it

Fantastic experience: Love how you can go to any gym in the uk for just £25 a month. Been working away in Darlington so came to this one it’s a really nice gym lots of equipment and lots of vibes would definitely recommend it

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Borna (Manager in Charge, apologies for spelling, if incorrect) ensured safety comes first and ensured my details were filed first and I was familiar with the equipment. Fantastic place. Well ventilated, plenty of machines spaces around one floor. 2nd level had impact place for Spartan exercises plus bike exercises. If I was here full time, then this would be the place for me. Now open 24 hours and conveniently placed just off North Road. Loads of parking, equipment kept clean with additional cloths and cleaning products around to ensure everyone keeps cleanliness a goal. If I had a wish list, a sauna and cold plunge pool would be great. I understand saunas were once here but alas Covid made them a thing best closed. Even without these, stair climbers, elliptical steppers, cycles, rowers for cardio, weight equipment a plenty. Thanks again JD Gyms, my legs ache from skipping upstairs.

Positive experience: Decent facilities. Very crowded. Changing rooms/toilets smell terrible and feel dirty.

Positive experience: Great place. Lovely vibes. You feel the fresh energy as you walk in. Diverse club members and a wide array of equipment, lots of space and modern amenities.

Negative experience: PLEASE TURN UP THE AIRCON I BEG. It’s a gym not a sauna

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym with everything you’d need to get in shape and keep fit. Even when busy, you don’t feel overcrowded which makes training a lot more effective and fun.

Negative experience: Car park needs sorting out ,classes were good when I joined last year ,but they keep changing the instructor's so the continuity just isn't there ,it's a shame I'm thinking of quitting , I’ve now quit JD gyms after giving it a chance to improve the classes they just got worse they have a massive turnover of staff and classes are often cancelled. The burn studio could benefit from a clean too.

Positive experience: Decent gym but impossible to do a good workout in Winter. For some ridiculous reason there's 0 heating so if it's 0⁰c outside its 0⁰c inside. OK for aerobic fitness but impossible to have a good workout. **edit: maybe it was a bit selfish, as those on bikes may have preferred it. Just a note that the weights area was essentially unusable unless you're wearing a full tracksuit. Although "it's not been close to 0c" isn't true is it? It was 2c today...

Fantastic experience: Big cool fitness club, good atmosphere, a large selection of exercise equipment. The staff is quite friendly. Inexpensive. Convenient opening hours.

Positive experience: Excellent gym, decent price, well worth it

Fantastic experience: Normally train at Glasgow North but was visiting family so got my lift on here. Was greeted warmly by the duty manager (I think his name is Adam) Equipment is state of the art and the place is spotless. Staff are all friendly, professional and happy to help. The young gentleman who greeted us is an excellent ambassador for the JD brand.Good job to all

Fantastic experience: Gymtastic. Wide variety of equipment, clean and tidy and good amenities. Car Park can get very busy at times.

Positive experience: On the whole this is a good gym with excellent equipment - particularly free weights and racks. Plenty of it too. There's less machines but the space has been used really well. The only thing that really lets this place down is the gym etiquette. Bars always have plates on and stuff is scattered all over the place. The staff are some of the most guilty for it when with their clients. They never go around having a tidy either. Maybe if they set the example others would follow. So yeah a good gym if you like all the toys... but don't mind that they've been thrown around by toddlers. Put your weights back.

Fantastic experience: It's a really decent gym, as a northerner that's high praise. Clean, great lay out and I've not had a problem parking yet either which is always a win.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped and maintained. Busy at times and often have people saying they're using two machines at a time which is frustrating. Could do with some machines in multiples rather than just one that you end up waiting for but a good gym. Update: Not had this happen in a while.

Positive experience: This very the nice gym with nice the design. One peculiarity, not the possibility to the paying cash with. I traveling many, last the week was I Ireland Dublin, and tomorrow the going America 2 months from Airport out not the here there means. So possibility subscription not the possible, for monthly. I needing paying cash, even 100 pounds necessary if, I possibility so doing. Not accept money. Not like money. Not like cash here. So no sport. Here needing only bank account, but I bank account the America the. Standing order I propose the. Not accepting. I four giving not 5. 4 points not 5.
