Fantastic experience: Nice environment and was given a tour of the gym on my first visit

Fantastic experience: Very beautiful gym, old but has all the equipment to work all necessary and extra muscle groups. Equipment is old, however still in very good working conditions. My first day was a blast. Very friendly people and very catering. When I asked them not to play any songs, they played nasheds for me. Very happy with the gym and the people. Very cooperative.

Fantastic experience: I decided to join Urban Fitness mainly because it's conveniently close by, although I did stumble upon a few negative reviews. What caught my attention is that it's a men-only gym – a relief from the constant distractions you find elsewhere with people taking selfies and all. Here, everyone's focused on just working out, which I really appreciate. One cool thing is that people here respect each other's space. It's like an unspoken rule that we're all here for a good workout without bothering one another. The equipment in the weight training area is a bit old and worn out, but strangely enough, that hasn't really affected how I train. It's not about the shiny stuff, after all – it's the effort you put in. The highlight for me is the studio. They've got focus pads, heavy bags, ropes, and a tire – a bit of everything. What surprises me is that even during the busiest hours in the evening, the studio isn't packed. It's a great space to mix up your routine without feeling crowded. Just a heads up though, the floor mats in the weight area aren't in the best shape and could be a bit of a tripping hazard. It would be awesome if they looked into that. All said and done, I'm pretty happy with Urban Fitness. The staff is friendly, and there's this old-school vibe that I really dig. It's all about putting in the work, and that's exactly what you get here.

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this gym for 6 months, friendly and supportive staff and members always willing to help out if you’re a newbie. Place is generally kept clean and tidy with good selection of machines and dumbbells up to 50kg.

Positive experience: Decent gym with plently of good quality machines however it is always very cold. It is a big gym with plently of space and is never too busy, but at £20 a month you could go to JD Gyms down the road which is a much better gym with better machines, equipment, sauna, changing room, shower room and everything else too. At least this gym is less busy than JD Gyms. Still a good option for those who live closer to it because it has good circuit classes and has lots of good quality machines.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym if you want to get fit and strong with no distractions has a seperate boxing MMA area i would recommend this hidden gem of a gym to everyone in the local area

Fantastic experience: This gym is great for my needs. I simply want to build a little muscle while maintaining decent fitness levels - I am able to accomplish this at Urban Fitness. My friends and I have all commented on the great customer service provided by the proprietor and enjoy training in a non-intimidating and non-judgmental environment. I cannot wait for lockdown restrictions to lift so we can train here again!

Negative experience: really old and sweaty equipment with a dangerous soma

Negative experience: Great! ghost services took out money via DIRECT DEBIT THOUGH ITS CLOSE SINCE MONTHS due to covid 19.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym and my ideal type of environment. I love coming here every morning to get my gym fix before I set off to work. The guy who owns it is a brilliant gent and very friendly, his always there to help you out and even puts on those classic old school jams that make you wanna lift! Zain.

Fantastic experience: Urban fitness is a good gym with all the essentials. The gym managent and staff are very polite and welcoming always willing to help members achieve there goals whether it’s gaining mass or losing weight. Gym also has free matt area where many class are on much as MMA boxercise and more. The gym has a family atmosphere always clean and tidy and everyone is appreciated. #TEAM-URBANFITNESS

Negative experience: New owner is greedy, buys second hand equipment which looks really run down. Doesn’t ever clean the equipment in the gym, a potential health hazard. DO NOT VISIT THIS GYM!

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Has free weights, machines, a combat area, sauna, showers and also fitness classes. Defo recommended!

Positive experience: Decent gym for beginners who are looking to start their fitness journey, however equipment is very worn out and old and should be replaced by new equipment (but new equipment can be costly so i will not put them down as their may be reasons for this). Atmosphere is not overwhelming by people who go this gym and is a friendly environment from my experiences.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym. Cheap at £20 a month. Clean. Great atmosphere and staff. Also do BJJ and Kickboxing classes. Opening and closing times have also been extended now.

Positive experience: Great gym in Bradford, It's local and a great access for the community! Has everything one needs at a gym. Superb Gym that has an extension coming along which goes to show how much revenue there making from it. Just goes to show how much people are attending as well.
