Wick Swimming Pool

Negative experience: Ridiculous despite having a toddler pool dedicated to toddlers they think it is a good idea to convert the main pool to toddler level for most of Sunday sessions despite the toddler pool verry rarely in use people can't use the main pool until 12 o'clock and the toddler pool would very rarely get up to your ankles we have been doing gym and swim for years aswell as other Highlife members They are isolate a lot of your members by doing this

Negative experience: 1. Really hard to find not clearly sign posted. 2. Pool was bloody freezing. 3. No where to shower privately just a row of mixed sex communal showers so how are you supposed to wash properly after you swim? Only redeeming feature is it only cost £1 with my student card any more than that and I'd have asked for my money back.

Positive experience: Excellent clean facilities and bright modern atmosphere. A little on the small side but to be expected for the location. Disappointing that there are no upstairs bathrooms and the nearest ones to the gym are in the swimming pool. Additionally as a preference I'd rather not have a big window overlooking the pool as it's a bit weird looking down on people swimming. Would much rather have more privacy in both areas.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean modern 25 metre pool. Super hot /cold adjustable showers. Great early morning opening hours. It's part of the community complex, and has the library incorporated into the reception area with ground and 1st floor levels.

Fantastic experience: Nice pool. Friendly staff. Ample lockers/change room cubicles some for family changing with plenty room. Family friendly swim times where the ratio for kids to adults are relaxed(at certain times). Highlife card can be used. Plenty different activities during daytime to attend if booked in advance. Library open when pool is open too.

Fantastic experience: Brand new at the time of review. 25 meter pool, with changing village and ample spectator seating. This building is attached to a primary and secondary school and also houses a gym and library. Home to Wick Amateur Swimming, a nicely run club with friendly and knowledgeable coaches.
