Positive experience: Looks like a lovely facility, unfortunately completely unable to use it. Tried to go climbing as a visitor, however inductions only take place in a half hour window once per week. Really bizarre policy but what can you do.

Positive experience: I have been member of the gym and health suite for 15 months now. Gym is decent but health suite very poor. The steam room has rarely worked and constantly needs rebooting. I have spoken to management and I get apologies but this doesn’t resolve The problem. Having a monthly membership should enable properly to get get good quality for the cost but unfortunately it isn’t so. The sauna has no timer on it which was broken for around 6 weeks ago but a simple replacement hasn’t happened. The pool and health close for 2 weeks in the summer for maintenance but this doesn’t appear To make a difference ?

Positive experience: Great venue for a gig. Fast entrance, hot food van outside. No queueing for the bathrooms. Went to see Skerryvore there. Would of been 5 stars, however card payments were on available on the night so was a cash only bar annoyingly.

Fantastic experience: Used to go to the gym nearly everyday then stopped due to move to Orkney and covid happening…. Started using the Pickaquoy past 2 weeks, I love it! Classes have been great, the gyms are fantastic good selection of machines and weights. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and helpful. Just one thing…. Could we have an app please, the web site is ok but not very intuitive.

Positive experience: Brought my little boy to the softplay which was only £3.50. Its good if you want a bite to eat while you let the kids play as it's safely enclosed. I want to say that the food here is extortionately priced and as to bring your own, however, the beef and tomato sausage roll I had was the nicest sausage roll I've ever had and quite frankly I'd get another one (or 2) tomorrow!! The staff I spoke to were all lovely too and were very helpful :)

Positive experience: Staff are friendly, and great facilities. The gym space is second to none and it's good to have a booking system so it doesn't get too busy. With regards to covid restrictions: perhaps to much reliance on these for the swimming pool. Not really sure why the kids have to walk past all the fun stuff (kids pool off limits) to get to a tiny square in the main pool where they are fenced in. Also not sure why you can only get into the changing room 10 mins AFTER the session starts (even the first one of the day) and need to get out 15 minutes before it ends. Don't go if you are planning to swim for the hour! All being said, it's super clean and as mentioned staff are friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Good facilities. Booking is a bit awkward with a mixture of online and in person/on phone.

Fantastic experience: Good leisure centre with cinema and cafe. Offers a range of activities such as swimming, climbing, football, squash, badminton, basketball, table tennis, athletics track, gym and fitness classes. Lifts and a pool pod to help people with mobility issues. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Went here, for a swim, whilst staying on the campsite. Had to fill out forms, book a slot and adhere to all restrictions in place but it was worth it, just to get a swim. Something I can't get at home as my local pool, remains closed.

Fantastic experience: I've obviously not been to the Picky Centre since before lockdown and I really miss it. I have a guide dog called Ringo and we were both welcomed into the Picky Centre with open arms by all the staff. I used the swimming pool early in the morning, the cafe at lunch time, occasionally used the gym in the afternoon and used the cinema at night. There is a nice cosy dog bed, a fan and a water bowl at the pool for assistance dogs to use. There's bags of room for your assistance dog in the cafe. You can leave your assistance dogs at the reception desk in the gym where they will be very well looked after, and there is a wheelchair area at the top row of the cinema where you can sit and there is space for your assistance dog to lie down beside you. The staff in all areas are so helpful and friendly. I can't fault any of them at all. From my experience, I'd say that they're fully accessible in all areas. All the above is from my own experiences so if I've missed anything please accept my apologies.

Positive experience: Called at the large Tesco just outside, there are not many places on the island where you can get shopping and facilities like this so it’s worth stopping here.

Positive experience: There is plenty of fun activities to do here, like swimming, squash, and lots more fun things. They have a great selection of things that you can do for a party such as laser tag and then you can book out rooms for having cake and snakes. There is also a gym, dance and yoga room and a cinema (the only problem is they dont always have the newest movies showing until a few weeks after its released)

Fantastic experience: Amazing facility, many activities to enjoy

Negative experience: We waited 45 mins for our food to arrive, people who arrived after us were served before, the food looked like it had been thrown on the plate and the kids picky lunch was boring and mostly crisps and pitta bread. I don't think we will be rushing back.

Provide a good selection of exercise classes, swimming activities as well a community cinema - albeit it could be better showing the very new films.. Overall a quality all round sports centre which has proven a massive asset to the community

Negative experience: Miscommunication between staff left us unable to use the health suite even though we had paid for it. Not best pleased
