Positive experience: Went to use the spa.... Facilities are decent, changing rooms and showers could do with a bit of tlc.

Negative experience: The men’s changing rooms are a disgrace. Always filthy, not regularly inspected. Make sure you’re up-to-date with your tetanus jab before you come here. Somebody told me recently that HC it’s considered to be the worst in Cheshire. Too many young lads, walking mud into the changing room that then mixes with excess water. It’s always like a pool of slop in there. These youths never use the lockers correctly, so there are never any available for the other members. There definitely needs to be a policy of only so many adolescence in at one time. The staff are friendly and overall the gym is very good but I think even they feel beaten down by the sheer number of lads.

Positive experience: Great clean environment and equipment.. not as up to date as other leisure centres but still has all that is needed for a good workout. Cardio machines now all updated to the same style as other centres which is great for consistency

Fantastic experience: Me and my friend tried out the Sauna Suite. Never been in one before so a big surprise. We went in the jacuzzi first, that was an experience! Then we tried the sauna room, hot. We weren't in long so we tried the steam room next. Now that was hot!! We soon came out. We went for our cold shower and then tried again. Sauna was good, steam room was too much for us so we got in the jacuzzi for another session. After dressing we had a light lunch in the lovely cafe which was just right. A nice friendly lot of staff too in the building.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym a few weeks ago.I absolutely love going.very good equipment nice staff and friendly members of the public.lovely relaxing sauna steam room and my favourite is the jackuzzi.this is the best gym I have ever been to .and I will continue going from now on 5stars amazing place and well worth the money.

Negative experience: I quit this place due to the poor opening times, poor range of equipment, £40 a month fee and the final straw was when a schoolkid touched my leg from underneath the cubicle. Told the staff, they didn't seem to care, typical everybody.

Negative experience: This is a good gym local gym for me. Unfortunately it gets full of kids and teenagers just hanging around machines don’t necessarily using them even after 7pm. It’s a difficult task to be able to do my regular exercises in an hour. My advise to whoever manages this gym, is making it over 18+ after 7 or at least 8 pm. Also having a member of staff inside monitoring what the kids are doing would decrease the amount of time they are “using” the machines for.

Negative experience: Nice local gym with nice staff. Good selection of equipment - clean and modern. Cancelled my membership after 36 hours (2 sessions) because the gym is full of 16-18 year olds messing about dangerously with the equipment. Clusters of them taking up space and machines and not doing very much. Suggestion: make the gym 21+ after 7pm?

Fantastic experience: Despite the difficulties we've all gone through Jade, Jezz, Sue, Leslie and all the team have come through smiling & welcoming us back!! The classes I particularly like are on again & my husband "enjoying" the gym. We both like the Cafe & very appreciative of Jess, Sophie & Linda. Many thanks to all for re-opening again in such a professional & friendly way for what to us is a very important aspect if our lives.

Fantastic experience: A superd selection of classes and friendly staff.

Negative experience: Although a good gym I find it very uncomfortable because of the woman who works at the reception, I see her watching me as I sign in and then ask me if I did then she makes me wait while she checks I find her attitude rude and off putting which is a shame because I do enjoy using the gym. I hope if any management read this that give her some training on etiquette or behaviour.

Fantastic experience: A nice gym with extensive equipment available for use and a high-tech body measurement machine which gives remarkable in depth detail into your body & muscle composition. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: Recently cancelled which is a shame as being local to the gym , the reason is I have paid a membership on a 12 month contract for my wife and I which was for full use of the facilities for example the hot tub steam room and sauna with gym and classes . I found the hot tub seems to be always off for maintenance or cleaning ...the sauna and steam room where off quite often when I asked why there off I was told ask us to turn them on .....bit difficult when just showered and in your shorts to walk to reception and ask for them to be turned on . The gym seems to be full of people just wanting to sit on machines on there phones .....theres a bench outside for that.
