Fantastic experience: For the cost of the membership, this is a great gym. Well equipped, it would be one of the older gym buildings and some of the equipment certainly isn't new but everything works, staff are friendly, lots of functional kit to train on, good atmosphere. I have been going for about a year now.

Negative experience: No parking, makes coming here impossible unless you live nearby. Staff are nice and plenty of trainers but inaccessible due to the parking issues

Negative experience: Just a basic gym... Loved going at 2 in the morning..not many people there.. But alas I had to leave to join another gym...new crowd and the odour is disgusting... I don't pay money to sniff people's stink...awful. Sorry I had to move as I really liked it here...but times change.. Maybe day time is better and if it's just a basic gym you're looking ,then you can't go wrong here...

Positive experience: Decent equipment but obnoxiously loud music by one of the PTs over a specific area. It appears that this particular PT session is a playground for the attendees. Temperature downstairs is insufferable especially during the hot weather.

Positive experience: I enjoy this gym, i go late at night so i have no Issues with getting machines i need but the only issue i have is the temperature downstairs, i have had to leave early because I couldn’t stand the heat, it’s not particularly warm maybe as warm as an office but thats too warm to be exercising in and it’s a bit dangerous because I’ve gotten light headed down there while Trying to lift weights, i will power through it but I would prefer it if the ac was better down there

Fantastic experience: Everything works good many different machines with different approaches…No out of service machines + it’s clean and people there are clean too no bad smells.

Fantastic experience: Good equipment, pretty clean and plenty to do at all times. Would love if there was a seperate studio that wasn’t always filled with cycling classes.

Positive experience: Great selection of equipment. Friendly staff. Not overly busy. Clean rooms and equipment. Only negative is no parking.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant value for your money! Always clean with decent showers that are big enough to use. Great classes that start before 7am. Plenty of equipment which is all modern and well maintained. Staff are very friendly. Always parking available if you are willing to pay a couple of pound. The only draw back is I haven't managed to fins free parking near by yet.

Positive experience: This gym has good equipment! It is cheap! It is clean! However, it has no free parking, no internet, poor mobile data reception, vitamin water dispenser frequently faulty. The boucher road gym might be a better shout.

Positive experience: Equipment clean and we'll spaced out, staff are really friendly and are on hand to help whenever you need it.

Positive experience: Pretty good variety of equipment - would love some more Olympic weightlifting platforms but there isn’t really the space. Free weight section does fill up quick. The showers are absolutely boiling tho! No temperature control that I could see, was really unpleasant

Fantastic experience: Me and my cousin join the pure gym on Monday and it was amazing the equipment is amazing and very clean. You can clean yourself so that's good. Also the workers are very kind to. I recommend anyone who have mentel health to join it really helps

Fantastic experience: Decent gym with plenty of equipment and classes to choose from. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can get quite busy at peak hours after work but lunch time is fairly relaxed.

Positive experience: Good gym, wasn't too busy friendly staff and members. Good range of equipment including trap bar and hack squat machine. A few places where wear and tear can be found but nothing too off putting.

Negative experience: This gym can get you a workout last minute, insufficiently. It’s always packed, weights are everywhere and it’s difficult to find everything - no one puts anything away! The paper towels and soap are basically always empty. The music is blaring and obnoxious. People, especially staff, monopolize the platform so no one else can use it. It’s just not a good gym for people dedicated to fitness and with tedious schedules. But for someone who just wants to use the treadmill it is ok.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym. Really cheap and 24 hours. Decent selection of machines and cardio equipment upstairs. Was not busy at 6.30am and you can access the gym using the app on your phone. There is paid parking next door at £2 an hour which is not ideal but not the gyms fault.

Negative experience: Decent gym but the showers are SCALDING hot and you can’t change it. One day someone will get seriously hurt.

Positive experience: Staff are sometimes standoffish, and machines are out of service alot of the time

Fantastic experience: I prefer PureGym because of the varieties of the SoTA workout equipment, strict adherence to covid-19 health guidelines, and easy access. There is a proper wipe and sanitizing liquid at every corner of the gym, but, the male changing room doesn't have the cleaning tissues and the hand sanitizer stand, these were there before the lockdown in December. Please kindly work on this. Thanks

Positive experience: It's pretty good as far as equipment goes, has showers, lockers, plenty of cardio machines and a good amount of weight machines.

Positive experience: Much prefer this to Adelaide Street. Not as packed, a better layout, and friendly instructors.

Positive experience: Went a couple of times when my other PureGym was getting work done. Had all the regular machines and equipment you'd expect. The changing rooms are a little small and look out if date now. I went in the morning when it's quiet but wouldn't like too see it when it's busy.

Positive experience: I like the gym, a lot of good equipment and some of the trainers are quite helpful. However I have been having issues with a personal trainer called Peter Haren. When he's in the gym while not on a shift, he looks over and laughs with his friends about you. He still does it while working but more discreetly. It's gotten to a point were I decided to leave after being at this gym for about 7 years and go to another gym. The gym is nice though and unfortunately he just decided to make my experience uncomfortable.

Positive experience: Great gym for a good price. My only issue and the reason i left was the parking you can park in a carpark for 1 pound but if you go 5 times a week thats an exta £5 on top of your membership that pushes the price up. You can also park on the street free on sundays and after 6 but getting a space is challenging and i found out the hard way when i parked up a footpath and came back to a ticket. Hopefully in the future they get some type of free parking and i would consider going again but until then i have to go to a gym with free parking.

Negative experience: The gym no longer have ANY staff working on weekend evenings. There was a cover that fell off a wall and exposed the electrical wires but no staff were in the building to stop people getting hurt. There is a personal trainer that has tattoos on his legs and long hair, he thought it would be a good idea to actually sit on a treadmill and draw fake tattoos on his arms with a marker and he always laughs at people who are trying to workout.

Fantastic experience: Five star gym. No contract and freeze your account anytime. Easy access with your unique pin number or buy a fob in the vending machine for six pound plus alway buy lock for five or six pounds. Gym itself is very clean and plenty of equipment. Well worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym plenty of machines and equipment to use never have to wait on any of them. Great that's its open 24 hrs. Jilly, Natalie and Paul the pts are brilliant help answer any questions you need to ask also gave us tips on what exercises are best for us. I've lost almost two stone and feel better physically and mentally so give it ago prices are brilliant as well.

Fantastic experience: Stopped by for a workout while backpacking through the UK. Trainer Ryan was super helpful and showed me around the updated and clean facility, and also allowed me to store my travel bag in a safe location while I worked out. The gym itself had a great selection of cardio equipment and nice free weight area. Thank you again Ryan for all your help!

Negative experience: Since the gym has reopened its grim and depressing. There is too many people in the gym and it's very hard to complete your workout especially since you should only be there for an hour, yes I know you can check the app for the amount of people that are in so you can go at quieter times but the app always give a false figure of how many people are there. Don't get me wrong a lot of good people use this gym but there is also a fair amount of creeps, people who don't clean their equipment and just downright rude people who hog machines and equipment like they own them.
