Fantastic experience: A very friendly and welcoming gym with a lovely team of staff. The classes are great and there is always someone on hand to help. I’ve been coming here for over a year and it’s been lovely to join the community at ActiveZone. Special thanks to trainer Claudia for always making everyone smile and for the amazing classes she runs!

Negative experience: It used to be friendly but not now. Most good reviews from years back on Facebook. Desk staff barely bother to raise an eye as you go in, never greet you. Old equipment. Dirty bathrooms. And bad experience with a personal trainer being aggressive and rude. that was my experience.

Positive experience: It's a good gym....not overcrowded which is important...it offers good discounts for Surrey university students (23£)... doesn't not have a big variety of gym equipment but it has the basic ones. It offers also a lot of classes like yoga and boxing!

Fantastic experience: Claims to be the friendliest gym in Guildford- and it certainly is! Caters for all from the die-hard weight lifters to the absolute novices. Everyone is welcomed.

Negative experience: Can I give zero star. Handled my cancellation very badly. Personal trainers there only give attention to their own clients, hardly someone is there to give you advice.

Fantastic experience: Can't fault this gym. The friendly element is taken very seriously and it's a big point of difference when looking at the same old chains. Good equipment, great staff and trainers, superb value and a nice size. I wouldn't consider recommending anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have tried a few gyms over the years but always ended up dropping out - not at ActivZone! I can honestly say I have never been to a brighter, friendlier and more welcoming place. All the trainers and staff welcome you in and the members give you a smile or say hi. There are many classes to choose from and a great range of equipment. I have made friends and received encouragement and advice and feel really motivated...in fact I go five days out of seven ( the other two I am at work!) Don't be intimidated by your age size or fitness level by the way - you will be so welcome. There is weight training spinning yoga and Zumba as well as a host if specialist classes I will be trying out when I am ready for them! The happiest gym ever!....

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy working out in this gym. I am always a little apprehensive when joining a new gym because lots of them can be intimidating and unfriendly but ActivZone is such a friendly gym that I don't have that problem here. I'd definitely recommend this gym to anyone wanting to join a gym in Guildford!

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! Been a member for a number of years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The team are really helpful and friendly very passionate about what they do. Lots of classes to choose from reasonable rates . Well done AZ.

Negative experience: I do not recomend the below gym. They will ask you to sign a contract with a Debt Company, this will show as a debt collection on your statement every month. If you want to leave urgently you will still have to pay for a month that you do not use their facilities. I was thinking going back in a couple of months but there is no way I will go there. Staff is very helpful and nice but after what happened I would not recommend it. I paid 48 pounds 33+15 late charges and the debt comoany was calling me. It is a shame...

Fantastic experience: Such a good gym, it's never too busy and everyone is so friendly. It has everything you need in terms of equipment, as well as daily classes and an opportunity to buy protein shakes and bars. The prices are so reasonable and the staff are always on hand for whatever you need - but if you just like to keep yourself to yourself, they just let you get on with it. You can also get your own fitness plan too - perfect for those who don't know where to start. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely gym to be a part of, a great atmosphere and everyone of all fitness levels are welcome. After being a member of some of the larger chains in the past which I often found intimidating (not to mention very expensive!) ActivZone gym offers great value for money, a good variety of classes and most importantly the staff are friendly and encouraging. It definitely makes working out that little more easier and dare I say fun! All the staff are doing an amazing job, well done guys!

Fantastic experience: A hidden gem of gyms in Guildford - good equipment, good space, not too busy, not too LOUD etc but able to work out plenty seriously if required. The staff are also very nice, friendly without being intrusive and obviously all keen on health and fitness themselves without being (too) intimidating. They do nice little 'gym community' things as well. All in all, excellent!

Fantastic experience: Turned up for one training session whilst my gym was closed and have been going every weekday since. Wasted no time in ditching the old gym and signing up. Great place to train, friendly and welcoming staff as well as knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Get fit and hang out with friends. I've been a member for several years and the standards never slip, I've been a member of other gyms in the past, they all started out good then things like cleanliness, quality of staff, maintenance of equipment all go down hill - not at Activzone.
