Fantastic experience: I’ve had a fantastic experience at this gym! They have a great range of free weights and machines, making it easy to tailor my workouts no matter what I’m focusing on. I’ve also tried a few of their classes, and they’re no joke – they really get you warmed up and ready to push yourself! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to work out. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: Great asset to Blyth and I like how it's open 24/7. Being a relatively new gym it's modern and the facilities are good. The downsides are the vending machines only take card payments. There is no antibacterial sprays for customers to use, like the Pure gym in Longbenton. Also, I think there should be more treadmills and cardio equipment. Often at peak times, there is a wait. I think the music selection could be a little bit more motivational perhaps? Also there is no spinning classes, could this be considered? Overall, it's a good gym and very popular

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. It's affordable, lots of equipment to choose from, don't feel uncomfortable being older and a bit overweight. I even go on my own as I feel so relaxed and I have never been able to do that. Me, my daughter and my mam all go it's great for people of all ages and abilities.

Fantastic experience: Well maintained gym with good cardio facilities and ample training equipment. The place is kept immaculately clean, including the equipment, and the staff are always visible and approachable. Car parking is very convenient to access the premises. I am very happy with my membership at PureGym, Blyth.

Negative experience: Cleanliness of showers lets place down.I go at 6.30am and showers are filthy.

Fantastic experience: I joined Blyth PureGym on its opening day, and I'm still a loyal member. Value for money is outstanding, especially if you're a regular attendee. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority; the cleaning staff are consistently active and visible. The machines and equipment are durable and well-maintained. They offer a wide variety of equipment to cater to different workout needs. Just be aware that it can get quite crowded between 5pm and 8pm on weekdays.

Positive experience: Good size gym, decent amount of equipment. Clean and tidy. But showers aren't too warm and when it's busy it's not easy to get on the kit you need.

Negative experience: Music too loud. No need as 90% of people have headphones on. Let people choose what they want to hear.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Positive experience: Basic commercial gym but nothing special. Neglects a good seated or standing calf machine (there is one but its rubbish), no hack squat or pendulum. Just lacks equipment in all areas. Good as a back up gym for the price but there is much better gyms close by if your willing to pay slightly more. Also better music instead of the radio would bring the place alive. it can’t be that difficult to put a upbeat gym playlist on!! Thats literally the bare minimum you should be granted from a gym!! Take your headphones!!

Positive experience: The gym has a open and airy feel to it, although i feel the temperature is quite hot and could be a bit cooler in temperature. The cardio machines are good. The staff are friendly though and when i asked for advice, they were happy to help and professionally answered my question.

Positive experience: A lot of the equipment doesn't adjust for shorter people, which makes it impossible to bench press at all or barbell curl unless stood up. The racks for being press are back to back, which makes it very difficult for a spotter to fit behind. Also there is nothing to wipe the equipment down. Something wrong with the leg press that you put the pin in the weight to change weights. All the squat racks and areas for dead lifting are right in the middle of the room, which feel quite uncomfortable. The hip extension machine is made for a taller person as there is a metal joint that sticks into your leg and you can't properly in the seat, with your back on the back rest as the joint on the machine doesn't allow it.

Fantastic experience: Popped into the gym when visiting family. Way bigger than our home PureGym. Equipment is new, well spread out and lots of great classes on offer. Excited to continue using when we pop up to visit family! Changing rooms upstairs with plenty of lockers.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Gym, just what Blyth has needed for a long time. Great facilities and very friendly staff. Access is so easy scanning in and out. Huge range of equipment, cardio and weights. I got a combo padlock from the vending machine inside for the lockers, only £6 which is good value. Shame the manager can't remove the 1star comments on here, total irrelevant comments and posted before it was opened .

Positive experience: Quite a lot of kit there to choose from if you can actually get on any of it as even on a night it's busy. A shame there aren't any trainers correcting form on the young ones who are likely to hurt themselves

Fantastic experience: Been a couple of times this week so far and each time been welcomed in by different members of staff. Chloe taught the first class I'd booked onto and within minutes made me feel very welcome and relaxed. Since then I've tried a few more classes and all instructors have been brilliant. Especially Gareth and Ryan who had abit of banter and made it fun but still a tough work out. I'm not very confident when it comes to using equipment at the gym so the classes are perfect for me. Absolutely loving having this 5 minutes away from my house and classes either early morning or later at night. Keep up the good work :)

Negative experience: I agree with the other review, I have paid since nov for a gym I can’t use till feb, can payment not be on hold until opening?

The first payment and joining fee is always taken on the day you sign up to secure the offer you have joined on and to set the membership up. No further payments are deducted until the second month of the gym being open. Thanks, PureGym
Negative experience: When is this opening how soon is soon would be nice to know a date I have paid money to join and looking forward to having a good gym on my doorstep but if your not gonna be open in the next two months am gonna have to cancel my subscription
