Negative experience: Pool absolutely freezing so cold woman who goes wild swimming left the pool

Fantastic experience: Good place for swimming beginners and other exercises like gymnastics, gym etc

Positive experience: Good swimming pool and gym, but not enough parking places, dirty toilets with no soap :(

Positive experience: Clean and pool decent size for having a bit of lane swimming or just leisure.

Fantastic experience: the staff here were absolutely amazing after such a disaster at bathgate xcite which resulted on my youngest Autistic daughter having a meltdown and hurting both herself and me. whitburn staff went above and beyond and we cannot thank them enough so friendly, caring and an asset to your company

Positive experience: I like the pool and teaching pool but some of the younger male staff I've dealt with at the front desk have been poor and quite clueless when I've asked about classes, membership and on the last occasion why I was being charged £12.40 instead of the £9.20 I had been paying for months for me and my infant son to swim. I asked if prices had increased he said no I told him I'm normally charged £9 he just looked at his screen then said that's the price.

Fantastic experience: Tolles Schwimmbad und so günstig 5,20 £ ohne Sauna, £8 mit Sauna und Dampfbad. Sehr sauber, sehr nettes Personal (sowohl an der Kasse und auch die Rettungsschwimmer). Es gibt gemeinsamer und getrennte Umkleiden, und dort gibt es für die Damen vier verschließbare Duschen, einen anständigen Föhn (heiß, warm, kalt-Funktion). Es hat mir wirklich gut gefallen.

Negative experience: Swimming classes for kids are not worth a penny. The instructor doesn't care about teaching anything, I'm not sure if she can even swim. Using a phone on her duties and shouting on kids if take them too long to swim back and get out the water. It's absolutely not worthy.

Positive experience: Steam room in Whitburn lovely but annoying that young lads were talking about getting drunk. Need a notice about being quiet. Didn't get in the steam room & didn't want to go in with 12 men. Needs a women only slot please. Too busy at 7pm. Thanks

Negative experience: Too expensive. This is a national issue. Taking your family for an hour's swim shouldn't cost so much. The pool itself is okay.

Positive experience: My daughter and I took my granddaughter back for swimming lessons and she actually enjoyed her lesson. My granddaughter was happy and so were we she was a wee bit disappointed that she didn't get to play in the soft play area today but was happy that she got a lovely new swimsuit

Negative experience: Some of the staff go about with a really bad attitude , this used to be a good place to go , it’s ruined now with a bad atmosphere . Gym manager Jamie and his sidekick Chloe don’t even respond when you say hello they just stare at you and ignore you . THIS IS ALL THE TIME !! Absolutely ridiculous way to run a business. Joining jd gyms , won’t be back .

Fantastic experience: Nice big pool with a seperate baby pool. Wasn't busy, public swimming on Sunday 10am till 2pm. Friendly staff. Parking behind building or you can drop off/pick up out front if traffic isn't busy.

Negative experience: The cleanliness of Whitburn xcite overall has deteriorated over the past few months tiles on the showers were blacken by moulds , floors overall very dirty

Fantastic experience: Great place for the kids to learn to swim. Staff are approachable and helpful. Instructors are nice and dedicated and I like that we (parents/guardians) are able to watch the kids while they're training.

Fantastic experience: A good, clean pool with easy access steps in so you can walk straight into the pool. Decor looks fairly new around the pool with small blue square tiling around the lower part of the walls. Plenty of lockers in the changing areas. Pleasant staff. One of my favourite xcite centres.

Fantastic experience: Clean and staff are friendly enough too. When we booked our swimming slots had been advised 1 hour but only got 40 minutes. Best to arrive early and pre-dressed to get the most out of the time you are allocated.

Fantastic experience: I've used the pool only, but found it a decent size for getting lengths in, and with a shallow end for younger swimmers there was room for them to stand and play. There is a baby pool separately, which looks a good size, but no toy/activity sections. Definitely more of a sports/ training pool but we always find it quiet and staff very pleasant.

Positive experience: decent equipment, clean area's, no policy stopping any outside food to be eaten (there is no option to buy other than vending machine) which for parents of swimming club is not helpful...also highest pool rates in West Lothian for swimming club is not very community minded

I only go 2 whitburn because my friend lives there. In my opinion whitburn needs 2 be freshed up a bit. Be more vibrationt. Far 2 meny bookes, pub's 2 near each other. Only in my opinion it does not give u the vibe 2 wanna go there when u see it
