Fantastic experience: Had an amazing two day stay,my friends and I love this beautiful hotel,could not be made more welcome, fabulous room,excellent breakfast. Staff are awesome and can't do enough to make your stay great. We will see you in December, many thanks,look forward to seeing you soon.

Positive experience: I found Inglewood House to be an ideal stop over whilst heading further north. Made a nice change from the usual Prem Inn type options. Stunning location and building. My single room was comfortable. The female staff were in general very helpful and friendly, the male staff seemed a little distant at times. My evening meal was fine, but the breakfast was 1st class. My booking through booking.com was v good value. Thanks

Fantastic experience: We stayed here for two nights for my friends hen party. Staff went above and beyond with all our requeats and couldnt be nore helpful. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was clean, beds comfortable and had all wr needed. Hot tub was great fun. We didnt eat at the restaurant but did get bbq buffet delivered which was lovely. Spa was great and cocktail masterclass good fun. Would highly recommend, events packages are great.

Fantastic experience: Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Take a walk around the interior of this estate to see how very impressive it is. The restaurant was good. Would stay here again.

Fantastic experience: Me and my wife recently had our wedding at Inglewood House on 19/09/24. We first fell in love with it after turning into the very fantasy-like road leading the way up to the house. The correspondence between ourselves and the representative from the venue (Alison) was fantastic. Alison really made me and my wife feel very comfortable and taken care of for the full lead up to the wedding. Our menu tastings were great and the menu that the house offers truly is some of the best food I've come to taste. My wife also had her hen do here the day before the wedding and thoroughly enjoyed it. Inglewood offer an excellent spa and afternoon tea package that can be upgraded to an over night stay in the lodges too. Everyone that went very much enjoyed all aspects and it was a great way for them to relax before the big day! When our wedding day finally came the staff were exceptional, going above and beyond for us. Allowing for earlier check in for guests that had mobility issues giving them more time to relax and get themselves sorted with baggage etc. Everyone was extremely pleasant and even had some enjoyment themselves dancing along with the guest and having a good time while doing such an amazing job. I couldn't recommend the venue any higher. Even the woods at the back of the house makes for a stunning setting and the grounds are exquisitely kept. Fantastic experience: Went there for an afternoon tea with a friend. It is a really beautiful place situated in a beautiful part of Scotland. We were coming from Dundee and being there felt different. It has a great feeling. The food was good and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in the pods at the rear of the property lovely and cosy, very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was good. Lovely bar area .

Negative experience: Daughters hen do. The rooms are tired and dirty. In my room someone had been sick, it hadn't been clean up properly. On skirting and in the wardrobe. Thick dust on the radiator. Dirty dishes had been put away in the cupboard. Someone had used the toilet and not flushed (before we arrived). Walls were in need of a paint job. I wouldnt recommend this Spa to anyone. DISGUSTING PLACE.

Fantastic experience: We are delighted with our service from when we stepped out of our car, check in was seamless and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our robes for the day spa (infra red sauna, steam room and hot tub) were waiting for us at reception. We enjoyed ourselves immensely soaking and de- icing from our NC500. Our room is well stocked with bathroom toiletries and tea, coffees etc. definitely would return.

Positive experience: Used one of the lodges as a stopover for one night on a journey from Scotland back home. Lodge was spacious, well equipped, and had a private hot tub.

Negative experience: Let’s start with positives in this place. Pros 1) Stunning building and reception area. 2) Rooms clean and bed was very comfy. 3) Room service prompt. 4) Friendly staff in spa (only). 5) Food in restaurant for breakfast and dinner was yummy and served nice and hot. Soup was gorgeous. 6) TV was good size and functional with ability to log into your own Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+ and iPlayer accounts. Cons 1) Extremely rude and unfriendly staff in the hotel. Felt like inconveniences rather than guests. Made me really cross. 2) Most importantly, this place is not easily accessible for disabled guests. There are no lifts, only stairs. There does seem to be one disabled room somewhere but I honestly don’t know what they do if there’s two disabled guests staying at the same time. I admit some responsibility for not considering this when booking because it is an old, listed building. The lack of disabled facilities is not advertised anywhere. You ‘have to tell them in advance’ of any physical disabilities, as we were told with a shrug upon raising the issue that we had been put on the very top floor of the enormous building with no compromises or pro-active solutions offered to help us with this issue. Wasn’t after a refund or anything like that, just some pro-active thinking instead of the apathetic, rude and unhelpful response we got from the manager. 3) Room decor was minimal and dated. Mould on windows and damp patches on walls. Certainly didn’t feel luxurious. Nice place but wouldn’t stay again because of the staff. A real shame.

Fantastic experience: Had the most amazing stay here. The building is beautiful, the food is amazing (& very reasonably priced), the staff are very welcoming and friendly (especially Helena, whom we wish to give a special shout out to), and the spa is very relaxing. I’d definitely come and stay here again.

Positive experience: Was here for a wedding. Couldn't fault the venue or the food. The only thing I have an issue with is £8.50 for a glass of Prosecco. Quite difficult to justify unfortunately.

Positive experience: Went for dinner. Dining room has lack of atmosphere just a room that needs updating doesn’t fit with the rest of the hotel. Food was ok not outstanding. Would I go back for dinner no not really

Negative experience: We stayed in one of the pods. No hot water, it was literally cooler than lukewarm. And no internet. When I asked the staff about it, they said “Sorry, nothing can be done.” Actually, you could refund me! If I wanted to go camping I could have gone FOR FREE. I’m not sure what staying in the hotel is like, but the pods were a grave disappointment and so was the service.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in a pod here and it was out of this world for the price I paid! I went in February and paid £70 for the night. The pods are at the back of the stunning hotel and are really peaceful. My only complaint was that I got woke up by the bin men at 6:30am. However, this is not the hotels fault and they were very apologetic about it anyways. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic experience: 4 of us went to a physic event on May 17th at the Inglewood. We enjoyed a lovely meal, the hotel was very nice. We were very disappointed In the Physic, we have been to several physic evenings and found them very interesting and fascinating but not this time.

Fantastic experience: I visited the SPA on Saturday 11th May to have an inner calm massage. This was carried out by Kelly who is an absolute credit to the SPA team. She consulted with me prior to the massage finding out any areas of concern and what I wanted to achieve. She had a very professional, respectful and eager to please attitude and her massage did not disappoint. She was fantastic. I felt amazing after my 50 minute massage. I cannot wait to come back as I have definitely felt the benefits already. Keep doing what you are doing Kelly as I’ve had many amazing massages in my lifetime and you are up there with the best! Well done , thank you

Positive experience: Ideal gateway at a reasonable price, didn't use the spa facilities so can't comment. Spent one evening bed and breakfast on this occasion. Had dinner in the evening and the food was very nice and the steaks were amazing one of each ribeye and fillet. The serving staff were excellent and polite. The Alloway Suite was very nice and spacious, maybe a bit worn around the edges. Very large room with bed, 2 sofas, a table, dressing table and fridge. Very large bathroom with toilet, twin sinks and large walk in shower. The big window was onto the front garden and main entrance. Breakfast was very nice and a choice of cooked or continental items. Overall great stay and would book again if in the area. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: In summary the pods were beautifully cosy attached to a very beautiful and impressive building. The pods were well-equipped and cosy, and very reasonably priced considering there was also access to the spa. The spa facilities were nice but maybe could do with a little renovation. There was no pool which felt a little disappointing, even a small one would make a huge difference. As the spa facilities were complimentary I don't feel like they can detract from the otherwise wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding venue, our son and daughter in law got married here on 8th February and I can’t praise it highly enough! We had 3 nights in the 3 bedroom lodge and one in a pod and it was great. The staff weren’t just polite and efficient they were warm and friendly too. Great job, we’ll be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Came as a day guest to enjoy the spa. We opted for the “Let it Go” package with was £89 each and included a slat scrub and mini facial. Also a soup and sandwich, however was pleasantly surprised when we were told we had been upgraded to afternoon tea! Was lovely and quiet as it was a Tuesday. Staff friendly and helpful, treatment was perfect. Facilities clean would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Stunning building inside and out. Public areas and our room, the Billiard Suite, were immaculate. The staff were very attentive and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this little gem to anyone. The food was amazing, we had an evening meal and breakfast. Our stay was faultless, and we will definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience: We visited the spa which was very peaceful and relaxing. There was a hot tub, steam room and sauna which were all very quiet. The treatments were very lovely. We had a winter couples ‘let it glow’ which I recommend.

Fantastic experience: The room was cold when we initially arrived as the elctric heater hadn't been turned on. Once on, it heated the room fairly quickly. Decent sized room and big comfy bed. It's a short drive or taxi ride up to the High Street where you'll find restaurants and pubs and shops. We had lovely meals at The Crown and another restaurant across the road. We had Spa treatments on Sunday and they were great! We used the pool and sauna. The changing room toilets could do with an upgrade as we're rusty and a bit dirty. Overall, would recommend.

Negative experience: Trying to get through to anyone of the phone was a nightmare so it was pretty stressful trying to book, which is definitely not 4 star straight off the bat. We visited for a spa day after finally getting through. The spa was definitely less than average, everything was old & outdated, some things weren’t working. The hot tub was very grubby with grime all along the sides. There wasn’t any music apart from in the hall ways. Lots of candles but none were lit. Everything was just a bit all over the place, and they also had no pool facility. The showers were absolutely scalding hot, like seriously hot I couldn’t even wash myself properly. The food took ages to arrive in the spa cafe, and when it did we didn’t have a fork to eat with. The food was nice however and the treatments we received were absolutely fantastic so I can’t fault them! But overall this is most definitely not a 4 star visit.

Fantastic experience: Awesome place with very kind people. It was the 2nd time we visited Inglewood house and spa, 1st time in the pod’s garden, 2nd time in the Alloway suite. Coming from France to make my proposal to my future wife, people have been very present and helpful to create this magical moment for us. The surprise was total for her, secret kept by everyone, and the place magnificent with the Christmas decoration and athmostphere. Restaurant was as good as usual. Thank you all, this place and the people there have a special place in our heart ❤️

Fantastic experience: Incredibly gorgeous hotel with luxurious rooms. We loved staying here, and enjoyed both the on-site bar and the included breakfast. Worth being a few minutes outside of Stirling!

Fantastic experience: I've never stayed here, but eaten here on many occasions. The food is lovely and the dining in the dark is ace. Very tasty food from a great kitchen and great service too.

Fantastic experience: If your WEDDING might be at Inglewood, READ THIS. My ceilidh/covers band (The Jiggers) played here again last night for a wedding in their function suite, and we were impressed at the way in which the venue managed a large number of guests. The suite was not especially large, maybe 100-120 or so guests but it was cosy and had a real sense of intimacy and personality. It's hard to define, but I think that the friendly and efficient staff, as well as the nice old building and peaceful surroundings just make it feel like a nice warm and welcoming place to have a wedding. We always judge a venue based on how well they treat the band, and how they seem to be with the bride and groom and the guests, and we found the staff to be extremely nice and helpful, and the evening buffet was very tasty as well! We love playing here and looking forward to the next wedding or party for the Jiggers at Inglewood.

Fantastic experience: Inglewood House is an amazing place for a wedding. It located in a great place and is able to handle a good size wedding. Lovely place for wedding pictures. The service in general was pretty good and we were well taken care of. The only thing I would complain about was after the wedding we had no real place to go. We were hearded into the from entrance and once the few seats that were there filled up the staff kept saying move aside we have guests coming through. Well give us a place to go and we won't be in the way. The Rooms were lovely and very large. We had a room that sleeps 12 or so with many bedrooms and beds to sleep very comfortable. The place was beautiful with a nice kitchen. The only complaint would be basic kitchen supplies were lacking. Someone before us spilled coffee which ran down and inside the cupboard and all over the dishes. We had to wash them before we could use them. I would say cleaning staff should have checked this. There are no wash towels for clean up in the kitchen. No kitchen towel either and only one small towel for drying dishes.

Fantastic experience: Loved everything about this hotel! Would rate 6 stars if I could. Staff was always smiling, eager to have a quick friendly chat and very helpful. Beautiful hotel, spacious and clean suite and bathroom. And everything is very fairly priced! Plenty of choice for breakfast - local and continental- and the BEST salmon I’ve had throughout my journey across Scotland. Try their Teriyaki salmon!

Negative experience: Really poor. Upon arriving an hour early we were told our lodge was ready but we were "super early" and would have to wait until check in time. So, we waited outside the said ready lodge watching the clock tick. Absurd. Staff were ignorant and indifferent. Wifi in the pods was non existent and when we asked we were told an engineer was arriving the following day. The following day a different member of staff said she knew nothing about an engineer and "the pod wifi has been broken for weeks" The room was not serviced in 2 days- no clean towels or drink replenishing. The food in the restaurant- cheap pub standard. Nothing about this place is 4 star.

Negative experience: Beautiful building and well kept. Great breakfast. Nice pods. However after staying two nights felt it lacked a lot of customer care. No lighting worked on the footpath to the pods. No room cleaning. No Internet in the pods and was told they were coming the next day to fix it. Next member of staff didn't know it wasn't working, next member said it had been down for several weeks. Clearly no real urgency. The evening meal menu is very restricted. Chips uncooked. A cooks menu not a chefs.

Negative experience: Afternoon tea today.very basic, service was good when you actually saw someone, hotel could do with being painted inside and steps in a little precarious, won't be back

Fantastic experience: Me and my partner spent 3 days here in the woodland pod and it was amazing! The staff were lovely and went above and beyond for us. We booked the private hot tub and got a 3 course meal delivered to the relaxation room with cocktails, everything is reasonably priced we would say aswell. Food and service amazing. You definitely get your money's worth at this lovely place. We have just arrived back home and are already looking to book again for my birthday! X

Fantastic experience: Very nice hotel. The house itself is superb and very well maintained. We stayed in one of the pods on a wooded hill behind the main house which was very nice and cosy. Food in the restaurant was great, staff friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Inglewood hosted our wedding last weekend, and we cannot rate them highly enough. Our wedding coordinator Alison was absolutely wonderful and ensured that our day was completely stress-free from start to finish (and didn't bat an eyelid at some of our stranger requests!). All of the staff were absolutely on point and ensured that everything ran smoothly and every need was taken care of. The food was delicious, which I've found to be the case on every other visit too. And our rooms both the night before and the night of the wedding were spotless and comfortable - Inglewood also accommodated some awkward room handovers for us as we had people getting ready in some areas from the night before and then checking into other rooms for the night of the wedding. Thank you so much to Alison and all of the other staff for making our day such spectacular fun and so completely hassle-free.

Fantastic experience: The pods are for 2 people but we found it a little cramped for 2 friends... so we also got a room inside as well... Food was really good and service was wonderful... Liam was a joy to talk to.

Positive experience: Went to the spa for the summer breeze package for some self care. Kelly was AMAZING! I've been to a lot of spas and my treatments from Kelly were definitely the best. She tailored everything to suit me and was so lovely. The afternoon tea was also delicious and plenty of it! Some of the facilities could be doing with some TLC which is why I have put 4 stars instead of 5. The lights and music in the infrared sauna weren't working, one side of jets on the thermal suite shower wasn't working and it kept blocking. The changing room showers were also ridiculously hot which made it hard to shower. The treatments and afternoon tea made up for it though and I'd come back

Fantastic experience: Had great time here. We were staying In one of the pods and we had a spa session as well. I had a massage with Claire. Great . And our meal was excellent.

Positive experience: Attended a wedding here. Nice location in a beautiful building. Some attention to detail is required in the presentation of the building and grounds. Some flaking paint and tape on the floor etc. took away from the spectacular atmosphere that could be attained by such a beautiful building. The staff were all friendly and helpful. However, were too keen to get seating reorganised after service and meal etc. Had all the chairs stacked up before everyone had left the room, which in my opinion was unnecessary as there was always lots of time before we were back in that room etc. Which made me feel harassed. The meal was of a good standard considering it's difficult to feed a room full of people all at once. The dishes came out quickly and the food was warm and of good quality. Overall a good experience was provided by the hotel. With a wee bit more attention to detail and it could have been a great experience.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I got married here in January. The day was everything we wanted and the wedding team at Inglewood were super helpful. Really wonderful venue to get married at and all our guests had an amazing time.

Fantastic experience: Didn't stay over but the hotel really shone in terms of staff attitude and service. Very attentive and helpful during wedding. Beautiful listed building.

Negative experience: Frustrating. Booked a spa trip. Tried calling the spa multiple times and could not get through as nobody would answer the phone. Booked the hotel and bought a couple of spa treatments. However, when we tried to book the spa treatments, there were none available, even though we were a few days out from our trip. Although we were disappointed, we continued with our trip. The spa itself is very average, it's cramped and quite grubby/old. If you've ever visited a good quality spa you will be very disappointed with this one. While the hote, the breakfast staff were very rude/abrupt, and the dinner at the hotel was poor. The Hotel also refused a refund for the spa vouchers that we couldn't use during our stay, which I felt was very unreasonable. Overall, a disappointing trip and one I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Was here for a funeral afternoon tea here last week, food was lovely staff were friendly helpful and very well turned out. Everywhere was clean and tidy would be a great venue for a weekend break .

Negative experience: Very disappointing spa experience. Arrived and led to a treatment room by a girl who did not even tell me her name. No health or background questions which you expect before any spa treatments. Told to undress and lie on bed and to let the therapist know when I was ready but after around only a minute she was knocking on the door to see if I was ready. During massage I could hear other therapists in the corridor outside saying "Thank god only two more to go" and generally grumbling about being at work. Massage felt unfinished, no shoulder or neck massage while lying on back just legs and arms and then told massage was over. No offer of water like every other spa I have visited just rushed out the door. Entered the therapy room at 4pm for a 55 minute treatment and I walked back in my front door which is a five minute drive from Inglewood House at 4.53pm after supposedly having a 55 minute treatment!!!! Really disappointed I definitely would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: The hotel is beautiful. Driving up the house, it sits grandly with surrounding forrest. There are also glamping pods and chalets at the back of the house. All staff were friendly and approachable, especially the lady with blonde hair (sorry, i can't remember your name) who worked behind the bar and restaurant during breakfast and lunch and myles, were so friendly and answered any question. The room, we stayed in the alloway suit, which was stunning. It is very in keeping with the grandness of the house. Food was delicious, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The spa facilities were superb. The only downside is that you need to book ahead before your stay if you want a massage or any treatments. Wish i didn't realise. There is room service available, but you either have to pay cash at the door or go downstairs to pay by card as they have recently stopped charging the room. You can add it onto your food bill if you are eating there. Overall, we shall be back and would highly recommend inglewood house.

Fantastic experience: Had my first ever Swedish massage today and can I just say it was amazing. Claire on the reception desk was lovely and welcoming and Kelly who gave me my massage was amazing. She talked me through everything that would happen from beginning to end. I left feeling well looked after and very relaxed. Definitely going back

Negative experience: Was gifted to an afternoon tea. Went today with my friend. Was really disappointed. Firstly customer service was very poor. Told here is your table, food put in front of us. No choice in sandwiches. Bread was dry, as if it had been left out. Only good thing on the plate were scones. Cakes weren't great. No one asked if anything was ok. No top up of tea offered. When we left, weren't asked if everything was ok. Wouldn't hurry back 3/10 customer service poor.

Fantastic experience: We had a woodland pod,it was quiet and felt remote (20 meters from hotel ) The staff were polite & friendly and very approachable. Our stay was over 2 nights & had our evening meals at the hotel, any longer a stay would entail going to a restaurant as the menu is very limited understandable as it is a small hotel. The menu covers all food tastes , including the best steak l have had in a long time I have been told we are going back

Fantastic experience: We were there for a wonderful wedding , staff were wxcellent and food great. Would highly recommend. We did not stay in rooms but were told by family they were very comfortable as were the pods that were hired to stay in.

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding at Inglewood House in August 2022 and couldn't have asked for a better venue. Alison and the team were great and a huge help during the planning and execution of the wedding. We weren't the easiest couple to cater for - we wanted a Sri Lankan-Scottish fusion ceremony and a 100% vegan menu. Inglewood pulled this off brilliantly and seemed to relish the challenge. All of our guests loved the food and the venue - the building itself is beautiful and all the rooms are fantastic. All the staff (including those working in the spa) make Inglewood a very welcoming and friendly home away from home. We're very happy we chose Inglewood for our wedding and would highly recommend the hotel and spa.

Fantastic experience: I was passing through on business but found an absolute gem, great food, great service, great building and grounds. The head waiter was very focused and professional which gave a casual stop over a 5 star feeling. Final words - try the Haggis burger

Fantastic experience: Recently stayed in a Pod after attending a very special wedding, fantastic from start to finish. Great service and wonderful venue. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Lovely place and (normally) really good. Went for a meal, waitress came to table to take our order, mumbled something and then left. She then came back in twice bringing food for other tables and saying "just a minute" each time. A tip - if you approach a table and say "are you ready to order" and they respond "yes" then take the order. Other waitress was lively, polite and friendly, but the 1st buggered up the experience for us.

Fantastic experience: This was our 2nd to last stop on a tour of Scotland. We stayed in the impressively large Paton suite. We had an evening meal which was excellent. If you stayed much longer than 3 nights you might be stuck for choice, but overall we were impressed and would visit again if in the area

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic stayed in a pod as we had a dog with us. The pod was lovely and spotless, cleaner than some hotels I've stayed in. The surroundings are gorgeous a beautiful forest area behind the hotel which sits in beautiful grounds at the foot of the Ochills.we had afternoon tea it was the best ive had even better than the willow tea rooms Glasgow not a cucumber sandwich in sightthank goodness. I had a treatment at the spa then got to use the rest of the facilities which didn't dissapoint. We walked to the town to get fish & chips but none were openwe went back to the hotel but the kitchen had closed but the lovely waiter said we could order soup & sandwiches. These arrived and we're delicious and very filling. The only downside one for the management the staff do not get tips put on cards and in this day and age when most people pay by card and don't have cash should be reviewed I wanted to leave the staff a tip but had no cash so hopefully next time they will have changed this policy

Fantastic experience: Beautiful house hotel set away up on lovely grounds absolutely stunning inside was at my daughters wedding there on 6/6/2022 staff and service was amazing perfect fairytale wedding everybody loved it xx

Fantastic experience: Stayed here with 24 family and friends in 2 lodges for the weekend of 27th May 2022 for my daughters hen party. Accommodation was greats, staff were fantastic, food great and Benjamin was brilliant with cocktail making class. We all had a brilliant weekend.

Fantastic experience: Great place! Visited for a wedding and stayed in a lodge! Had everything you could possibly need and close to the train station and a main bus route!
