Positive experience: Sadly, this was a disappointment, for the home of Rory I expected more, I make an annual trip to Northern Ireland and play some lovely golf courses, so when I put this on my list this year, I had high hopes of a good course. This wasn't the case and it was reflected in the price.

Fantastic experience: Welcome to the home of Rory McIlroy! I‘m a tour operator at TUI Cruises and brought my clients here frequently over the summer 2022. We experienced great service and a fantastic golf course at a very fair rate. The manager Mr. Murphy guided us personally through Rory’s trophy room and the whole club house. We were also allowed to take pictures with every trophy. This was a wonderful experience. Thank you all at Holywood Golf Club! <3

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. My wife has seen two people on two separate occasions about a golf ball breaking glass in our green house with zero follow up.

Positive experience: Simulation set up is really good. The course is good considering where it is. Think more needs done with the out of bounds section as they are misleading. If you have trouble with hills, maybe best to avoid this course. The walk from the 9th to 10th is brutal.

Fantastic experience: Booked a 2 hour slot on the Trackman Simulator. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful from setting it up, giving me help on my swing and checking in on me continually throughout the session. I could have stayed here all day would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Fantastic from all the team, from booking for golf for us, making us all feel so hugely welcome all day couldn’t do enough for us. Course fantastic and really enjoyable to play. You have to think your way around the course. Back 9 def tougher than front great views too. If In Belfast and you want to play golf do not hesitate to come and play here

Negative experience: Sadly there was some kind of mix up with the simulator slot I'd booked online. As a result I was running around the place looking for a staff member for 25 minutes. Wasn't able to use the SIM after travelling down after all. Apologies were made and I was offered an hour slot free of charge. Fair enough I suppose, but still very disappointing

Positive experience: My friends and I visited Holywood golf club on Friday 29th October for the simulator experience and thought it would be good practice for the winter indoors, unfortunately it didn't work out that way. During the evening the trackman screen froze 3 times during shots, a member of our company is a left handed golfer, he had to play in a different bay. Due to the lack of simulator staff and bar staff there felt like no organisation in the place, we have visited several times before, great experiences but this time was a disappointment especially when 2 members of our party were visiting for the first time.

Also, a bonus, great view over Belfast Lough. Played this morning, course in great order ⛳. Played today against Scrabo in the Belfast & District Veterans League. Course and greens as good as it gets, well done the greenkeepers ⛳

Negative experience: Best condition I ever saw it but would be happy never to play golf there ever again, it is a poor layout but nice views.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Holywood Golf Club. Been comming here for years as I have family in Holywood. Biased because my Niece works there and I've been privileged enough to play there as well and they serve a dammed good pint of Guinness.

Fantastic experience: Holywood golf club has just added to its facilities and now includes a brand new high performance gym, golf driving bays and 2 state of the art golf simulators. This is in addition to its existing bar and restaurant serving tasty food and drink. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Fantastic experience: Perfected located 10 minutes from Belfast City Airport and 15 from Belfast City Centre. The course is always in great shape and has some of the best conditioned greens in NI. Tight fairways with plenty of tree lined holes to punish the wayward golfer. Signature hole is the downhill 120y par 3 5th. Rory's Corner features replica trophies of McIlroy's biggest wins. Definitely a course worth visiting
