Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym! Everyone is so friendly and happy to help if you need it. Always a great atmosphere in there. I love that I can join on a rolling contract rather than having to commit to a fixed term like other gyms in the area. Can't recommend this gym to people enough! I've been there a year and wouldn't go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Welcoming, supportive, inclusive! I’ve tried many gyms before and I always quit because I feel so uncomfortable but from Day 1 Eric greeted me with a big smile and humour. Him and all his staff are always so welcoming and helpful. There’s loads of equipment to use and everyone is so friendly and help you out if you’re unsure of how to use it. What I love the most is the rolling contract, you’re not tied into any 12 month nonsense and pausing/cancelling is so easy on the app. I’ve now been going consistently for over a year and that’s unheard of! Eric and his team have done the unthinkable…made me enjoy working out! Highly recommended

Negative experience: Why is this gym closed so early on weekends - people have more time to be active weekends - open up on weekends to cater for a lot of Daventrians, otherwise there maybe a gap in the market and don’t be surprised if another gym pops up elsewhere and steal all your customers - you are charging premium prices as well btw

Negative experience: A gyms where the owner cares less about the quality and only about money. The toilets are filled with mold and the rooms and gym is also, equipment is falling apart, cables are ripped out and the barbells are bending. If you want to get a cup of water you will have to pay for it despite having contributed hundreds of pounds for memberships and accessories over the years, this gym is a health and safety hazard waiting to be audited and closed down. It is a 1 star commercial leisure centre gym painted yellow and branded as a “bodybuilding gym” .

Fantastic experience: Good gym, good selection of equipment for the price. Could do with updating though some of the weights are looking very worn.

Negative experience: Would give no stars if possible! An absolute joke of a company run by cowboys who are only interested in ripping people off. Good luck if you ever want to cancel a membership, you'll be lied to, passed from pillar to post and probably be considerably worse off financially before you get any joy. They never answer their phone, emails asking for membership to be cancelled all seem to mysteriously disappear or not make it into their inbox and the Terms and Conditions they quote at every opportunity don't actually exist!! DO NOT TOUCH THIS PLACE! Absolute disgrace.

Negative experience: I deleted my account and contacted glofox about fully deleting my account and yet have been charged months after cancelling, I will be contacting my bank and reporting this as fraud

Positive experience: The gym that could’ve massively took off, only one problem I joined in July of 2022 and I have seen no improvement to the gym at all, apart from a couple of machines that are rusted and barely have any motion in them. The gym feels like it’s falling apart. Don’t get me wrong I love this gym and its definitely got me through some tough days as well as helping me build my body. However it could do with a 2 week closure and a massive revamp, maybe get the die harders to give a hand and bring the gym back to what I remember joining in 2022 which was awesome!!!

Fantastic experience: Picked up protein today, first time been looks great place and the black lad, didn’t get his name was really polite and cheerful when served. Nice to see happy staff.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I’ve been to in the area. Is a no-frills gym but good value for money. Has a great selection of equipment and I’m getting decent results here.

Fantastic experience: This gym is friendly, fresh and always has welcoming staff to hand. It's a no frills gym although they have some classes and arrange clubs at certain times. PTing is also available.

Fantastic experience: Has to be the best Gym in Daventry and surrounds, well run, and a great set up with a comprehensive machines and free weights. Eric, Jess and the team provide help and advice whenever you ask and they truly are passionate about the Gym and nothing is too much trouble. I like the range of supps + protein they sell and that when I ask any questions they genuinely take an interest to see which may work best, and to what goals. Great gym, people and a friendly place to go. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Frandly staff, good gym

Negative experience: This company automatically stores your card details on its website even if you book a pay as you go class . You are not able to delete your details yourself or delete your account , very worrying given all the negative reviews of money being debited from various clients accounts despite this gym claiming that they offer a no contract membership . I booked a circuits class advertised from 19:00 until 20:00 , however the class finished at 19:30 ! Email and chat messages in relation to card details being stored without consent just ignored . Customer service in the gym was ATROCIOUS , I DO NOT RECOMMEND this gym at all !

Negative experience: Gym owner is removing u18s from going to the gym for some reason. Despite this he offered a job to a 16 year old a week ago

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible customer service. I joined online, and received no confirmation details or contract after joining. I then unexpectedly relocated and could no longer attend this gym, so I emailed asking to cancel my membership, as they promise in their advertising "no lengthy gym contract" "cancel anytime". I wrote to cancel my contract in July. It is now December and I have had to phone my bank to raise a dispute in order to be refunded the 5 months they have been taking my money for a contract I have cancelled. I tried WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, email, and phone to try and get hold of them. I heard absolutely nothing until I notified them today that I had contacted my bank to issue a refund. I received the following response: Hi Tia, can you send us a copy of the email we can’t find it in our inbox. I responded with the screenshot, and I received the following response: Did you call the gym to cancel? Our cancellation policy is to email and call the gym to cancel as your membership is a subscription? Can you please call the gym to cancel. Thank you. No apologies for the 5 months I have waited for a response, no apologies for the £125 they have taken in that time, of their fault alone for not notifying me of this prior. Absolutely unacceptable. I am autistic, and using the phone is a big cause of anxiety for me. The times I have built myself up in order to ring them there was no response. I do hope they read this review and make some changes to their admin team so that this does not happen again.

Negative experience: Gym ok, some equipment not great, staff friendly, admin terrible! Sent a request to cancel my membership via the Glofox app and also via email, this was ignored and I was billed an additional month. I sent a message via whatsapp to the owner who acknowledged this and cancelled my membership via the Glofox app. Still waiting refund for the additional month I was billed and messages now being ignored. I can't use the gym as the app has been cancelled but they've taken my money!! I wouldn't recommend.

Negative experience: I was only a member for one month. I would class this as a basic budget gym. They have classes that kept getting cancelled with no notice. They have three very old running machines that are falling apart. Three basic cycle that are horrible to use. Stair walker that never worked. And the music is so loud that I could not hear my own headphones.. But my be that is my age.

Fantastic experience: Most welcoming gym atmosphere in Daventry, and I've been a member at all of them over the years. It's not a cliquey gym where you feel like you've got to fit in or must belong to a core pack of regulars and train the same. The energy in this place is very encouraging and positive. To me it feels like all users and their goals get mutual respect from one another, and where none take priority over others. Hands down the most comprehensive and versatile array of equipment to suit every training style possible. With two floors it is also the largest gym in the town with plenty of space to workout. Dedicated ladies area upstairs with full range of weights and cardio. Large fitness studio with great classes on all the time. So many plate loaded and weight stack machines that you seldom come across - pendulum squat, belt squat, mono lift are just a few examples. Tons of free weights (there are 2-3 full sets of DBs ranging from 1- 50kg) so never waiting for someone to finish their set. Loads of barbells, attachments, Olympic and bumper plates. Multiple dedicated Olympic lifting platforms. Family run business, owner is always improving the gym and putting back into the facility. Very reasonably priced for membership, classes or just one off use. Quite simply, if you can't have a good workout here, you are doing something wrong and should probably take up jogging.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Well priced with good facilities including comprehensive weights, functional strength and cardio areas, as well as a range of classes. Would definitely recommend if you're in or near Daventry.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined and loving it. Everything you need in a gym, welcoming and friendly. Have tried a few gyms locally and this one is definitely the best.

Fantastic experience: Went here for a class, lovely big spacious gym. Lots of different equipment that you may not find in other gyms. Staff greet you on entrance and just a very welcoming environment.

Positive experience: I like the place, and the layout is good as well. My problem is the equipment, lots of great ideas but the quality and execution is a bit of an issue. Nice staff and the people seems helpful, some machines are very unique, the quality could be better though

Fantastic experience: Joined here today, very nice atmosphere, the gentlemen on reception was lovely, cery down to earth. The gym has a great range of machines, i’m going more for boxing and mma, not so much for bodybuilding or weight loss. I was very surprised when i saw they had boxing bags with swinging reflex arms, and Quad punching machines which you won’t find in most gyms, ive been a part of four fight gyms and none of them have had these so i was a bit shocked. From the tyre-flio machine to the weight sled and battle ropes, this gym is great for fighters. The TRX area is a nice touch also. A few of the weight machines did have me mega confused about how you operate them but im looking forward to coming back to see how they work. If youre coming for cardio it has a few cardio machines but not a massive amount, ski machine, rowing machines, exercise bikes, cross trainers, a stair climber and treadmills so its got the essential cardio machines. Gyms are daunting places and having a place where the staff smile at you, and talk to you like a person and not a sales target is great. Did get some pointers from a gym user while i was there which was nice, like i said very welcoming environment, worth the price, it stands out from the rest of the gyms in Daventry

Fantastic experience: Just been in to see this new gym in Daventry and all I can say is WOW!!!! If you’re silly enough to have signed up to anytime fitness you’re gonna kick yourself!!! Pure weights and cardio and plenty of and space, everything you could wish for in a gym at an amazing monthly price with rolling contract unlike the other gym I mentioned which ties you in at an extortionate price and only 2 benches!!!!!! Come and sign up, you won’t regret it!!!
