GreenMeadow Golf and Country Club

Fantastic experience: I really do like this golf club always have been playing there since I was a kid, I split my games between a few different courses these days instead of being a member at just one but I do love coming back to this course. A few holes can be very tricky to play especially when the weather is as crazy as ours in wales. definitely worth playing here though. Staff are good, driving range is good. Course is good.

Fantastic experience: Lovely relaxed place and such friendly and helpful staff. Just got home from a very nice lunch with 4 friends. Good choice of menu. I had the steak & stilton pie which was excellent! Also blackcurrant cheesecake. Plus they know what a floater coffee is (available with or without alcohol), which I'm finding is a bit rare these days! I've used Green Meadow Golf Club twice for after-funeral wakes; and their help, service and food was faultless. Plus the surroundings are beautiful.

Positive experience: Slightly expensive but all in all a lovely place and staff are lovely too

Fantastic experience: We had our wedding evening celebration here last week. We had decided on a very intimate wedding during the day with just us and our sons but wanted to party in the evening with our friends and close family. Nicola was amazing from our first visit up until the end of the party. She always got back to us very quickly with any questions or queries. The staff worked tirelessly on the evening to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and constantly refilled. The bar staff worked so hard. We were really pleased with the DJ and also the company recommended to cover our chairs. Beautiful venue, stunning location. Thank you so much for making our day so special.

Negative experience: Really disappointed at the Sunday lunch. We waited an hour for the starter which was vegetable soup, however it came out like stew, not edible , salty and tasteless.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful venue for a wedding. I photographed a wedding here and although the weather wasn't great, we made use of the grounds and the balcony with the gorgeous views in the background. The staff made me feel very welcome. I really enjoyed the day!

Fantastic experience: Attended a funeral today and the staff, hospitality was sensitive, caring and faultless. The buffet and refreshments were fresh and well presented. This is the second family member funeral that I have attended here and I can highly recommend.

Negative experience: We have for 4 years come here for Christmas lunch its our special day my 90 year old mother her 84 year old friend and 74 year old 67 year old sister and me 63 we have always had a beautiful meal and the servers so lovely and friendly this year. The roast dinner was awful none of us finished it . Politely making it known to the servers thier reply was no one else have complained i asked to speak to the manager who excused her self by saying she was in a meeting my niece had her wedding there so my sister recognised the manager in the lounge not 15 mins later so we asked could we speak to her we were told she was not available even though she was in the same lounge as we were sat drinking our cup of tea. We were ignored by 2 servers who found it acceptable to gossip in the passage way but walked away when we approached i will never book another meal there again i did tell the gentleman server who may i say was very polite and very helpful that I have every right to complain when the food I was about to pay for £27 was so bad none of us could eat it we were informed to send a E Mail to the said manager to complain . Absolutely unprofessional and perhaps these people are forgetting its us customers who pay thier wages and politeness and good service is paramount to at the very least food that can be enjoyed last time to visit here we made the best of the afternoon that was ruined. Never again GREENMEADOW GOLF CLUB

Fantastic experience: excellent always get help from Leon and Nigel, great pro shop and excellent service. Still great golf club but the shop is even better loads of products. Used the range today £5 for 100 balls not great balls but good enough for the money.

Fantastic experience: I had my wedding reception and after-party at Greenmeadow on 6/11/21 and had a wonderful time. Nicola, the wedding planner from Greenmeadow is fantastic! She has been so professional with us since day one which was pre-covid! Due to covid the wedding was moved twice and they have managed the change of date very well. It's in a lovely location too.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place for parties or wakes etc. Staff very friendly and food amazing. Value for money And all fresh. Restaurant great too. I dont play golf so cannot comment on that but place is always busy.

Fantastic experience: Booked refreshments for 24 people here after my father’s funeral. The location is excellent as it’s right next door to the crematorium. Excellent service on our initial visit to book it, and on the day itself. Very good hot buffet which everybody said was high quality. The cost was a very reasonable £9.50 per head (Dec 2019). And its a peaceful, comfortable, well-appointed place in which to talk and remember.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic evening for our Silver wedding and 70th birthday celebration. Food was excellent and our vegan relative couldn't praise it enough. Said best vegan food he'd had. Attention to detail catering for children as well was superb. Congratulations to Nicola and her staff. And to the Dj who played all my favourite songs. Just sorry poor Nicola had to wait til the early hours because of trouble with the taxis.
