Fantastic experience: Been a member less then a year and wouldn't go anywhere else! Always upgrading and adding new equipment. The owner and PT's are very welcoming, always around for any advice/help. Women's area is under expansion and they are adding more equipment! The suggestion box is always being answered, very clean and well looked after gym. So much equipment you don't have to wait around for machines. Negative experience: I went to drop off items for the ups. What a waste of my time. Got in, waited no body came to reception. Various people tried helping me. Man was never found so left. Rubbish system

Fantastic experience: I have struggled for years with motivation and gym anxiety. The 24/7 team are welcoming and on hand to help most of the time. I have been paying for PT sessions with Adam and they have helped me gain strength and confidence whilst teaching me gym isn't a chore. The gym being open 24/7 has been great for me to build confidence. Sometimes the gyms finger print scanner doesn't work, but the team find a way for everyone to still have access. Occasionally machines do break, again the team work as quick as they can to fix. There is plenty of equipment and a wide variety of classes to choose from. Honestly, the best gym I have been to and I have been to many!

Positive experience: Love 24/7 Fareham - it’s so friendly. Kaye is the best Les Mills teacher. Rio is great on Saturday circuits. We have such fun.

Fantastic experience: Really love coming to this gym. I prefer the classes they provide. The instructors are excellent. They are supportive and encourage you to be the best you can be. I love the Boxfit sessions very much. It would be good to get in a technique training session arranged though. I enjoy the spin class but would love to have the screen back so we can see how well we are doing using our MyZone monitors. The yoga classes are also excellent, this has really helped with my mobility. I have recently taken up PT sessions with the lovely Rio .. he is a great PT instructor, always checking in on you and very supportive. He pushes you out of your comfort zone which is always a good thing. Would highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for 12 years. It's good value and has a great range of classes, especially at the moment with plenty of boxfit classes. Circuits is good too, particularly on Saturdays. I think they do listen to members' comments and act on the feedback.

Positive experience: The gym was well equipped and had a great variety of machines and weights. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The overall cleanliness of the gym was very good. However, the one downside was that the gym was divided up into separate rooms, which made it feel less spacious and less conducive to socializing.

Fantastic experience: Been a member since 2009. Endless options for your fitness levels. From group classes to gym itself. Equipments are well maintained. Listens to their customers. Plenty of room for training ladies. Members are also very motivated and dedicated bunch showing lots of love for fitness and happy to help others. Lovely staff too and there is nothing more to say other than how lovely this gym is. One pluse for me is how much personal space you have, each area for trainings is well put together and even during busy hours you do not feel as it is crowded and that room to have you own space is important.

Positive experience: The gym is getting a little run down now but it's still clean and lots of stuff to work out on the one mager problem is there not putting the Aircon on as it's so hot in there other then that it's still best gym

Fantastic experience: This is a good gym and last review was more out of frustration. One thing I would say is that I would like to see more functional equipment. When I arrived during a bust period both the racks were in use which is where I do 50% of my routine. I had to walk out today as was at a peak time. Sadly I'm still awake as pre workout negative workout is never good. Will look forward to seeing what changes you have.

Fantastic experience: First of all I would like to say that the manager got back to me immediately as I had noticed the shower was not coming on hot.And he sent in a plumber in the next hour. It is great.It has so many different classes to choose from and I never feel self conscious as it has a woman's gym and frankly just a lovely changing room. I no longer feel as if I need to stay in the women's gym as the gym itself has so much room down stairs and is often not very busy. Take it from someone who has always been too scared and self conscious to go to the gym.This is the gym for you.

Fantastic experience: This gym is excellent, great value for money and staff are very helpful.

Negative experience: Disgusted with 24/7 fitness. They’ve charged me during 2 national lockdowns and never returned my call to question this. They are now refusing to give me a full refund and the service I’ve received has been disgusting. When I called to chase up I spent 3 days trying to get hold of a woman who eventually told me she “wasn’t able to give refunds anyway” and that I’d need to speak to someone else. I then called to speak to their so called Director who laughed when he was told who was calling and was no help whatsoever and showed no customer care. Looking through reviews on Trust Pilot I’m now not surprised that they’re withholding my money as it appears to be a common theme. They’re clearly struggling financially as a business however that’s no reason to withhold members’ money, particularly during a global pandemic.

Positive experience: A great facility that provides everything one would need to train. Areas for improvement: • Regular web based updates on anticipated closure dates would be great. We find ourselves in a worldwide pandemic and we’ve been given a date for tier 4. To that end allow the gym to remain open until said lockdown date. After carrying out my own informal Ex-Val with your members (speaking to them) there seems to be re-occurring answer... Those suffering with PTSD or other upper head related Injuries need to train (poor mans therapy if you will), closing early puts their heads below the parapet. • Your manager has the charisma of a dry fish! He has zero people skills, no sense of humour and unwilling to assist with simple requests (again common answer from your members). I don’t doubt he can manage a facility but having spent 16 years as a multifaceted sport centre manager within the Royal Army Physical Training Corps I believe I’m qualified in saying he needs to sit a refresher on people skills. Positives: • The team are amazing, very facilitating and with the better leadership 24/7 Fareham could be huge.

Positive experience: Got everything you need in terms of cardio machines, weight machines and free weights spread out over several rooms. Separate ladies area with not everything but a good selection of equipment. Could do with a bit of a decor update.....but definitely not critical to working out!

Fantastic experience: Good value. Great staff. I highly rate their classes. I nearly cried when I did my first yoga class. I had been so stressed and it felt SO good to finally unwind. My Pilates instructor is amazing, so lovely and encouraging. I have never met anyone as energetic as my Zumba teacher...she makes everyone leave not only energised but also with a massive smile on our faces. Money well spent

Fantastic experience: Superb value for Money. I am a member of Hampshire’s so called premier gyms and pay £70 a month. Upon reopening ( after Covid ) the gym cut every Les Mills class, so I decided to look else where. 24/7 was close to my house and hosted many Les Mills classes so I decided to try it as there’s no commitment contract. What a pleasant surprise. I’m 3 weeks in. The gym is clean, has all the equipment needed, the clientele are super friendly, huge class list with pre booking system. I also noticed some of the class instructors are from the premier gym. I naively assumed that because this gym is partially unmanned that staff would be less helpful but they are very much the opposite. The staff are an asset to the gym, helpful, friendly and informative. For £20 a month you simply can’t go wrong. I’m absolutely torn between two gyms now.

Negative experience: DO NOT join 24/7. They have conned many members out of fees when closing their gyms. It's documented, it's been in the news and if you pay for an annual membership you're leaving yourself wide open to loosing your money.

Positive experience: Website not updated for the closures of all gyms and no message on answer machine! Shower area needs to be deep cleaned and members keep their gym kit in the lockers permanently. Gym team need to remove their items and throw them away. On busy times you cannot get a locker, so people take bags in the gym which is a health and safety issue.
