GymWorks has a huge range of studio classes catering for all levels of fitness and experience led by some of the most amazing teachers in the North West. All of our classes are included in your monthly membership and you can take part in as many as you like each month at no extra cost. Plus, there’s no need to book in advance, just turn up to the class of your choice.
Our huge free weights zone is fully equipped with a large range of weights and over 25 benches. Our friendly staff are always on hand to help you with any questions and to advise you on technique. Of course, if you’d like to speed up or enhance the result you’re getting using free weights, one of our personal trainers can create a bespoke training plan for you.
Sometimes it’s the little touches that make things special. Spacious changing rooms, extra large lockers and powerful showers are just a few of the little details that our members appreciate.
At GymWorks we pride ourselves at having some of the best Personal Trainers in the fitness industry. Our team of Personal Trainers are vastly experienced in a variety of different skills and activities. Just tell us your goals and we’ll match you with a Personal Trainer that can help you hit your specific targets within your timeframe.
It’s entirely your decision. Our best priced memberships require a minimum period of 12 months, but if it’s flexibility you require, then non-contracted memberships are available as well. You can also make a significant saving by paying for 10 months in one go and get 2 months membership free!
There really is no catch, we will give you some of the best facilities in the area at the lowest prices by removing the things you don’t use and giving you more of the things you actually want. Don’t be fooled by the price, we are still a premium fitness experience, with amazing equipment and classes.
The equipment at GymWorks has been very carefully chosen to give to the greatest fitness experience possible. The majority of the equipment is supplied by Precor, who are world renowned and have a tremendous reputation amongst the fitness industry for innovation and design. Examples are treadmills, bikes, cross trainers including AMTs, stepmills and rowers.
Yes of course, all members will be offered a free induction onto the equipment should they require and there will always be on site assistance from the staff or personal trainers

For the majority of classes, no, due to the huge size of our studio, however if certain classes reach capacity we will introduce an online booking system to help you assure your place.
Absolutely. There is alway someone here to help you, exactly the same as in a premium priced gym as well as our highly qualified personal trainers who will also be on hand and happy to assist.
Yes, we have some of the finest in the business on hand to give you expert advice on how to achieve your goals, they are all highly qualified and have a wealth of experience in helping members get the most noticeable results out of their time in the gym.
Yes. The changing areas have lockers, showers and hairdryers for members to use. There are also be plug points for members who wish to bring their own hairdryers or straighteners.
Fantastic gym with amazing facilities. The staff are helpful and friendly and there is a huge range of classes to choose from. They also have some great equipment that you can't get anywhere else in the area. Bargain price but definitely not a budget gym, wouldn't go anywhere else!
Extremely good value for the money. Delightfully friendly and supportive staff that take an interest in the members as individuals. Class instructors motivate and add a feel good factor. Good mix of people and abilities go here, a great opportunity to meet new friends.
Great place to train. Totally non-pretentious. Really relaxed. Loads of class variety. Spin class with Graham is brilliant!! Real value for money all round.
Incredible value for money, over 40 classes a week included for free, that alone is worth 20 quid a month not to mention the Gym which is full of equipment and cardio machines. Also opens at 6:00 so plenty of time for a session before work or even a Class at 06:30.
I've been a member of Gymworks since it first opened. The gym as a great atmosphere and the equipment is modern and varied. There is always plenty of parking and the staff are helpful and supportive. There is also loads of classes to choose from as part of your membership fee. Highly recommended!
Absolutely love this gym! I usually settle at a gym for 12-18months and move on as I get bored! Not here! I've been a member from the very start (3yrs) and they are constantly evolving, constantly interacting with members and their needs! AND THEY HAVE A WATT BIKE ???? Always clean, always tidy and equipment breakdowns are incredibly rare!!

Positive experience: It’s ok but the music volume is unbearable. I can barely hear my own music of an evening session. I don’t come to the gym to listen to their mix, I want my own. Lighting is really poor, also ~ especially at night. Probably will move elsewhere when renewal is up.

Negative experience: Sort the showers out. The boiler was meant to of been fixed months ago & now they’re Cold again. Stop penny pinching and do it properly 14/05/24 Showers still cold.
Fantastic experience: Good value gym just on the edge of Buckshaw- classes included and they are drop-in. There is a main section, plus a smaller/quieter section at the rear and on the balcony area. As for classes I enjoy doing LBT (Jared), Pilates (Sam) and Yoga (Gary).

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym in January and it is superb! It is absolutely sparkling clean and set out immaculately. There is plenty of equipment so even when the gym is busy, there is enough equipment to go round! The music is great and the classes are brilliant! The staff are always working hard and nothing is too much trouble! Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Loads of equipment, high standard of cleanliness, reasonable price, a good selection of membership options and friendly helpful staff. Me and my wife both have PT with Ben Carlisle and rate his sessions and commitment 100%. The long term gains have been life changing for us both. Also special mention to Liam, he did my kids induction recently and his friendliness and enthusiasm was infectious. Breath of fresh air with his attitude.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough about this Gym and the fabulous staff team. From the minute I walked in I felt very welcomed by Michelle and Sam. I always had big anxiety when thinking about going to the gym but when I joined GymWorks Euxton recently I was so glad I did …. They have helped me in so many ways and helped me overcome my fears and built my confidence. The gym members: are very encouraging and friendly and everyone helps each other. There is no need to feel self conscious, and for someone like me who is on the “over 50” train - this is a massive plus. Nobody is artificial or false like some other places. The equipment: is very very clean and new and there is always something to go on. The classes: Brilliant …. I particularly like the Body Combat with Mat … I always leave feeling very energised and upbeat. The facilities: very clean For the money it costs, you simply cannot go wrong with this Gym - it ticks all the boxes. They so deserve 5 ⭐️ stars.

Fantastic experience: I recently joined GymWorks in Chorley, and it has been an outstanding fitness journey so far! The state of the art facility and well maintained equipment makes a change to others. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. There is a variety of classes, one of the few gyms still offering premium classes like Les Mills. Cleanliness is spot on, and genuinely exceeded expectations. Would recommend. Gym equipment is regularly updated.

Even the best noise cancelling headphones on the market can’t drown out the relentless beat of the same annoying playlist every time I’m there. Turn the music down guys or at least vary the genre. 5 stars regardless!
Fantastic experience: Kyle who is the manger is the fittest one there. Great staff I had the day pass would highly recommend this gym if you are in area! Even my son is thinking about going! Fantastic experience: Went to browse this gym before joining. Staff were rather friendly. Gym is huge and biggest by far in Chorley. Clean and music was decent too. Equipments looked well maintained and there’s a wide range of them, plenty of them too.
Negative experience: I cancelled my membership at Gymworks following the correct notice etc, it was even acknowledged that my membership will be cancelled & yet for 2 solid weeks I have been HARASSED with daily calls, texts & emails saying my account is in default & extra charges applied. Even after speaking to someone at the gym this is continuing. I do not recommend!

Negative experience: Went to gym works Chorley to try out as per the free day pass offer - when we got there we was met with what I can only assume to be some kind of receptionist, we signed in and was told that the day pass is actually £10 and we get it back if we sign up, this isn’t stated anywhere on the website or the email that was sent to us - I’ve attached pictures and as you can see it states “we are so confident that you will love what we have we want you to try it out for FREE” followed by “GRAB YOUR FREE GYM TRIAL WORTH £10” no where on the id page does it state you have to pay £10 upon arrival. Moving on to the equipment - the bench are more narrow than my mums ironing board, good luck trying to set yourself properly with any heavy dumbbells without risking injury - the machines are old and rickity - the weights stated on the machine are definitely not true as they feel way lighter than what is stated on the machine. The gym was crowded with equipment stuff lying around everywhere and not put back. I have to say it was a very poor experience from start to finish - the only positive I can really take from this place is the lighting in the toilets. Will not be returning - very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Working in a gym myself, I decided getting a membership else where would help me get back into training. It’s worked! Looked at several in the area and preferred Gym Works. Everyone is lovely, no judgement. Lots to do, and opening hours are great too. Enjoying the classes and instructors are wonderful! Piros, Tina, Chaz and Graham have been great ☺️ would recommend.

Negative experience: Weekend opening times are poor, as someone who works until 6pm achieving my fitness goals is going to prove impossible as I can't attend at all over the weekend. Looking to move gyms ASAP but stuck in a 12 month contract. I beg they change the opening times until 9pm close on the weekend but they probably won't
