Negative experience: i don’t even know where to begin. From the changing rooms smelling like the owners pungent swamp crack to the top notch tikky tekka roof leaking on my head mid set to the lovely note calling me a sped near the cables. In no way shape or form should someone who suffers from certain conditions be reading such a note in the so called mecca of gyms. Ridiculing someone for 25 pound whilst refusing to use air cooling during summer what a contradicting twet. Not to mention my monster i bought from the cooler being OUT OF DATE! If i wanted an out of date monster id pop into stack it high down the road but it looks like that’s where this stingy guy stocks up from L gym

Negative experience: Keep this in mind before considering a subscription to this gym. I received the worse customer service ever, not from the staff but from the very owner of the gym. When I called to discuss canceling my membership explaining the situation, dude didnt even let me talk and he straight off cut the first sentence I said rudely remarked, 'I'm not going to argue with you for £25? clearly displaying a lack of concern for my issue and not even want to hear me out. Where I clearly wasn’t argue at all but trying to understand if the number I texted for cancellation was correct. I'm very disappointed and angry about this.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the very gym owner. Despite my efforts to calmly discuss and understand the situation, he not only interrupted me as soon as I started talking but also responded rudely, expressing disinterest and quoting “it’s only £25 mate, I won’t be arguing about this little amount of money” with a annoyed tone and also ended the call on me when I still talking. This kind of response from a gym owner is disrespectful and disappointing. Don’t get me wrong it’s a okay gym but this is not the way to speak to customers. Such behaviour raises concerns about the overall customer service that’s not the way to speak to a customer at all!

Fantastic experience: Very good gym, best machines around, a good mix of new and old school , best supplement shop by far always the cheapest around and if simon doesn't stock it he will try to order you it in , 10/10

Fantastic experience: I've been training at metro for years now. Always a friendly atmosphere. 24/7 access so can train at odd times or to fit in with changing schedules. Always clean and tidy, and everyone is always happy to help out, whether that be spotting on a set or just putting equipment and weights back, unlike in other gyms I've trained at. Prices in the shop are second to non, and there are always deals and new bits of kit coming in to try out.

Fantastic experience: Trained at Metro for going on 10 years now, the place has always been the best backstreet gym about, it’s has all the equipment you need, 24 hour access, cheapest supplements and a good atmosphere. If you want polished, sterile and overpriced, there’s plenty of them about. It’s unique and the best about!

Fantastic experience: Great machines, staff and always see them cleaning when im in, classes give a great atmosphere when its early and you need some motivation, check it out for yourself there’s a reason other gyms hate on metro as its a great set up, it’s that good they get so many fake reviews saying its not good

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing the facilities are fantastic and the equipment is mind blowing in a gym where everyone makes you feel welcome , not only is it a great place to work out , what’s better than finishing a work out and buying your supplements from the shop in the gym , no need to order online it’s all there with great prices , honestly this gym is for me a game changer in training and the equipment is just getting better and better and I’m so glad I made the move

Fantastic experience: Recently paid for a week's training at metro gym and I was that impressed with the machines free-weights friendly atmosphere n the cleanliness of the whole gym and showers ect ect... I ended up paying for 3 months now and my training as come on leaps and bounds...

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, good atmosphere and 5 stars alone for the exceptionally rare Nautilus nitro chest press and pullover.
