Fantastic experience: Good gym, Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Positive experience: Great little gym if you’re working in the area. It has everything you need. Staff are friendly.

Fantastic experience: Been here with my girlfriend and we loved it! Has got everything we wanted and we will come back again when we are in the area.

Negative experience: Rip off! Charged for another 2 months after I asked to end membership, staff not admiting its their own mistake and blaming it on me. Asked to refund but they decided to ignore and stopped replying. Thats how they look after the customer once you no longer a member.

Fantastic experience: I really like this gym. It’s always clean and organised. Plenty of options when it comes to exercise and the machines are well maintained. As a courier the mass amount of gyms all around the country means I can use an anytime gym no matter where I am. And with the private bathrooms it means I can get showered and changed and back working whenever I need to. Definitely recommend these gyms.

Fantastic experience: Not too large but has enough free weights, machines and cardio devices, with friendly staff including male and female personal trainers. Light and airy which is better than the dark gyms I have seen. The air.con. units are currently set to blow out warm air. The cardio machines all have built in programmes and having a screen showing you going along a scenic route as you exercise. Open 24 hours a day, so never seems to get too crowded, and only £40 p.m.. Good central town location.Normally play music which helps with the training. Separate private dance studio for classes, and which can be used to help people overcome their initial self conscious feelings and P.T. sessions Some excellent individual shower rooms which I regard as en suite facilities with walk in shower, toilet, sink and heated flooring.Also separate vanity room and good toilet facility They even offer a free one day trial. Fantastic experience: Have been training at this gym for well over a year now and wouldn’t train anywhere else. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff who have always gone out if their way to help me on my fitness journey. Manager Alex is lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I’ve also been personal training with Jamie another lovely guy who knows his stuff and has helped me achieve great results.

Fantastic experience: Unexpectedly found myself stopping with family and needed to get a training session in so I did a free trial here. Good little gym with a decent array of kit that'll cater to most people's needs. Friendly staff that were more than happy to help me fit my training in as I lead into my next competition. Great facilities, overall very clean and well presented. Really liked their private shower rooms.

Fantastic experience: As someone who does have gym anxiety it’s safe to say you feel a lot more at ease at Anytime Fitness. Staff are always welcoming and willing to talk if you need anything which i appreciate. Amazing machines that are easy to use and if you struggle to set it up etc staff and other members are always willing to help. Can’t fault Anytime Fitness. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've ever belonged to. Friendly staff, and everyone is very supportive. There is a great range of equipment and its usually quiet enough that you don't have to wait to use the gear. Alex and the teeam have given me great programmes and helped me to do the exercises correctly. I lost 15 kg in a couple of months and I'm lifting weights that I would never have though possible. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I was in the area for a short period with friends and wanted access to a gym. We were offered a trial session and used day passes for the remainder - only because it wasn't worth joining for such a short time, otherwise would likely have signed up. The staff members we spoke to were very helpful and friendly. Gym floor is a good size compared to other local places and super clean, as well as the individual bathrooms ("private" bathrooms was such a nice surprise!). Plenty of premium clubs don't have this. Only improvement I can think of was increasing the number of squat racks and free weights equipment. This would be great for peak times although I completely understand the space restrictions.

Negative experience: Only enquired about the prices, called the next day and advised I'd signed up elsewhere, the caller told me he'd take off the calling list. Then called again while driving so wouldn't answer and it was almost 9pm. When it was safe to call back I called and it was after 9pm. They returned the call this morning and yet again told me I'd be taken off the calling list. If I'm not I'll update. Pushy and desperate to get business but if they tell you they will remove you, they should remove you

Fantastic experience: Quality gym. A great environment to escape and focus on something other than daily life. Always looking to improve, and introducing new equipment often which is a bonus! A second floor would be ideal ;-)! Staff and PT’s are always willing to help, friendly and are a credit to the gym itself! Isn’t just your average gym, members become friends and help you with your own goals as well as asking for advice on theirs. Other than Alex’s choice in biscuit… himself and Dan are smashing running that place!

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Fantastic friendly staff, from the gym managers, PTs to the housekeeper. They all go above and beyond to ensure a safe, happy, clean and friendly atmosphere. Members are friendly and encouraging, so many gyms can be intimidating but Anytime Fitness Worksop has a cheery bright and friendly atmosphere. Although it does get busy at certain times the 24/7 facility means you can choose quieter times to suit yourself. Having the fob entry system gives you the added flexibility of being able to frequent other Anytime Fitness gyms if you are away! The gym offers several classes during the day and evening which are run by trained PTs to give you an extra boost to your training. There is a large variety of equipment which is kept in good working order. Staff are knowledgeable and always willing to give a device or help when necessary. If you are wanting to join a gym but are unsure which one to choose, pop into Anytime Fitness Worksop and experience it for yourself.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely excellent gym, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, has a great range of modern equipment, always clean and tidy, good atmosphere. In addition, the gym is open 24/7 and has a massive car park, making it very accessible. I have been to a few gyms in Worksop and this is by far my favourite. If you are still unsure, I would disregard any negative reviews and try it for yourself, they offer a free taster session where you can meet the staff and try out the equipment. overall 5 stars with no negatives from me.

Fantastic experience: Iv trained at alot of different gyms over past few years .. always felt a little uncomfortable started at anytime and never looked back Feel more confident in this gym due to staff making u feel comfortable and always got time to have a catch up with u... Alex and the team make it a great place to train and iv come on alot since training here just bcos I feel comfortable and confident here.. Granted the music could do with been changed But there working on that haa Since I started at this gym the place has changed massively people laughing and talking its just a great place to be all round now... Negative experience: I made an enquiry this morning in regards to prices etc, one of those things that I wish I hadn’t done! I’ve never been so bombarded with calls and texts just from a gym. No word of a lie (please see the attached image), 13 calls in literally 10mins, totally put me off. Don’t think there is any need to badger someone so much. Maybe just leave a voicemail?? Safe to say I Won’t be joining up.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love everything about this place. From the first day I was made to feel nothing but completely welcome here. The biggest asset Anytime Fitness Worksop has are their staff. It almost leaves you feeling guilty at times with how helpful they are, no matter how big or small your needs are. They are all very genuine people and help make the gym feel like a home away from home. Access to the gym is great due to free parking right on its doorstep. You can be using the equipment in the gym within minutes of leaving your car/entering through the door which is great if you’re short on time on a particular day. The equipment is in excellent condition, with most of it being new or near-new, and extremely well looked after and maintained. The staff pro-actively keep the gym tidy during the day to help ensure you always find the piece of kit you need. The facilities are excellent, with new bathrooms and showers available to all members as well as a vanity room equipped with hairdryers and straighteners for those that would like to use them. It is true that due to its size the gym can feel busy on occasion, but this is mitigated by the 24/7 opening times, meaning you can train whenever suits and avoid peak times if you’d prefer. From personal experience, I can only remember a handful of times I’ve had to wait for equipment to become available since I joined 6 months ago. I’ve read multiple reviews in which people have experienced issues with payments and direct debits but I haven’t experienced any of this myself to date. The payments and all relevant terms and conditions were explained clearly when I joined and I haven’t had to talk about anything related to payments since then. One key note I’d like to add is about the atmosphere. Gyms can be intimidating places - especially if you’re new, but the ‘feel’ in the place is perfect. People you have never seen before will smile, offer help without hesitation if asked and more often than not clean down equipment for others to use after they’ve finished. The members I see regularly are men and women of various ages, which really is testament to the culture built at Anytime Worksop and is also evidence of how welcoming it really is to anyone who would like to give it a go. If you are contemplating joining a gym I would urge you to consider Anytime Fitness Worksop.

Negative experience: Just a note..... Stay clear of anytime fitness in Worksop. Could not work out what a payment was out of my account So cancelled it ....WOW they was straight onto me for paying the account up . Never been in touch over the last year that this was running even tho I've not visited the club in 11 months . Then forced me to make the 12th month payment with charges to clear the account. Kept the club going through covid shut down so jobs and club was kept . Maybe should of let it fold for way I've been treated .. Shocking company franchise and business structure.. Bullying customer into making payment with late fees and even court action... Mite be some of my fault for not checking my bank account but had already paid over 300 pound with out knowing . But still wanted 41.99 to clear the account. Shocking company.....!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: Great gym. Only nocked it down 1 star due to not having full size lockers like my normal anytime fitness gyms meaning having to leave my gym bag on the floor

Negative experience: RED LIGHT!!!! We are being held to a contract made by an associate no longer with the company who had ensured us and reiterated time and time and time again he had cancelled our 1 month membership. Only to discover a year later that they have been taking money every month from us for over a year. To add insult to injury, as a sign of ‘goodwill’ the regional manager Ashley Helsby is going to stop our membership at the end of this month.... it is abundantly clear the bank prohibit any further unauthorised payments. No thanks to anytime fitness in knutsford or the manager there who is unsympathetic and patronising and only concerned from a business point of view of stealing from ‘valued customers’. Also don’t block people from leaving feedback and real life experiences on your knutsford page !! Absolute joke. Come here to be stolen from not to work out. The whole establishment is deceitful! We raised this to the home office and no one is taking us seriously!

Fantastic experience: New gym next door, looks really nice and the staff are all very helpful. The place is open 24 hours, obviously that's why it's call Anytime. Good facilities and my understanding is that the staff are not there 24 hours and work from 10-8, they have classes and may even be able to help with rehabilitation. Overall very good

Negative experience: Read all these reviews before you sign. Worksop duped me just like everyone below. Told I could cancel as only wanted to try for a couple of months too. Now I am being told I cannot. Citizen Advise have recieced lots of complaints around their mis-selling. It’s sad that a gym has to do this to keep customers, actually tying them in so they can’t leave. A reputable gym will not do that as they keep you through great service and loyalty. DO NOT SIGN. Bad practices not to mention the contact is form does not work. Speaks volumes. I will be taking to all forms of social media to ensure everyone is aware and will continue until my contract ends.
