Fantastic experience: An asset to Bridlington. It's probably the venue I visit most often in Bridlington.

Negative experience: Went to book online this morning as a last minute swim but website states to turn up on the day. We drove from Hull to be told that we would have to wait for an hour. Website should state that a call should be made on the day to avoid wasting time and disappointing children

Fantastic experience: We use Bridlington,we have a yearly parking pass which is well worth getting if you live local,loads of sessions,check the website as a lot require booking.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities. Used gym for 2 weeks while in Brid. Helpful informative staff, well equipped gym with fantastic views over the sea. Spotless, well maintained and very reasonable costs ( staff recommended best package at lowest cost for my 2 weeks).

Negative experience: Myself and my heavily pregnant wife used the cafe facilities with the plan of getting a coffee and walking along the beach. However as we came out of the toilets was stopped by security, demanding we make a purchase. I explained we were going to, of course you were said the man sarcastically. I was enraged and explained you haven't caught me leaving the store I'm still in the building. I feel we were racially profiled. When I complained to the manager, he agreed the security man was in the right ‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place for family swimming, with lots on offer for kids of all ages. Two great water slides, a splash zone, spa pool, and full size pool. Mixed changing rooms and showers, which might put some people off, but always kept very clean.

Negative experience: Attempting to make contact with them is nearly (deliberately) impossible. When you finally do, they hang up/disconnect mid-phone call with no attempt to call again and you're back to square one. Really should be doing better as a council run public facility. Nb: the website isn't comprehensive, so being directed there constantly isn't helping.

Fantastic experience: Mint. Got two water slides and splash zone, bit of a cafe and you can get out on promenade and have a wander afterwards. Three pools aswel. You get an hour and a half. Three of us went for less than 20 quid. A lot cheaper than alpha mare

Negative experience: Bridlington definitely was a disappointment. It needs a face lift and a good street clean

Fantastic experience: Great way to get from one end of the beach to town centre. Reasonable prices.....runs every half hour 7 days a week. Wheelchairs and buggies accepted.....if busy they may need to be folded.......

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic spot for the family. My girls love the splash zone, the main pool is a good size and the slides are great. They limit the numbers so booking is a really good idea. But that means the queues are never too long and it's never too crowded. The staff have always been super helpful, the lads today were brilliant with the girls and very supportive given how busy it was too. It was lovely and clean and I was so glad we got in - I only hopped online to check the swim availability- even if it was a bit last min I thought I'd give it a chance,. It's such an easy system to use. No swimming available- turned out there was a gala on, but I saw the clip and climb had spaces and really glad we grabbed a slot. Parking is limited and it can be hard to get a space sometimes but it is free when you input your reg at the front desk.. so that's handy and the reception staff are always helpful We used the clip n climb for the first time today too- can be a little difficult to get booked in on it, but my two absolutely loved it! Enough variety and challenges to keep my girls age 6 and 9 busy for a full hour and eager to come back to do it again. Never tried the gym facilities but from what I've seen they look good too,.. and all with the incredible view of the ocean.

Fantastic experience: We visited whilst on holiday. Really good value for money. The facility is spotless and the staff were vigilant. The kids loved the flumes. Would definitely recommend.

Positive experience: Only ever been in for coffee, it's always clean and tidy and the staff are pleasant and helpful. As for the rest of the leisure centre I can't really comment to much. Pools looks nice with and there appears to be plenty of activities to take part in. They also appear to have function rooms for parties/meetings to use.

Fantastic experience: Brought the grandkids to the splash zone and they absolutely loved it, the water slides are brilliant but don't go on the red one unless you're really confident in the water, it's fast and exciting but you've no control and will end up with a free jet wash where the sun doesn't shine

Fantastic experience: The swimming pool is one the best I have been to for a leisure park. Lot stuff in the pool for small and big kids. It also has a new addition of a climbing wall area. And the caffe does some great chips.

Positive experience: Very good leisure centre, reception staff were very friendly and organised. The facilities were okay - changing rooms were not the cleanest however but not the end of the world. Lockers available for a £1 coin. The pool area was spotless. Only moan is you had to pay for hair dryers and parking was a nightmare. Would reccomend.

Fantastic experience: Great family time. We visited the pools and my son loved the splash zone. Everything was tidy and there was plenty of space in the changing rooms. Lifeguards were really doing their job making sure the pools are used safely, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Just joined and went for a swim it's a beautiful pool, and the changing rooms were clean with plenty of lockers for your clothes. I am having an induction next week in the gym.The staff are very polite and friendly too.

Fantastic experience: We were staying over for our holidays and booked to go . Wasn't sure as pictures don't do it justice. For £18 for all 4 of us what a bargain,I've a similar waterpark back home and is double that price . Defo recommend and defo use again.

Negative experience: customers beware, leisure centre has now allowed dogs into cafe area. It is unsettling to try and consume food with dogs at next table staring at you waiting for titbits. cafes are for humans not dogs. If dog owners wish to use cafe they should leave dogs at home and let people with allergy, fear of dogs and dislike of dogs have food in peace. This is winter time, I counted five dogs . In summer the cafe will be overrun with dogs. I now use weatherspoons pub as dogs are not allowed. as in the past. There is not a dog free area in cafe.

Fantastic experience: A fantastic place to bring your children, if they get bored at home on a wet cold winters day. They have all sorts of quality exercises, from swimming, adventure tube slides to climbing walls. If your not an adventurer, you can just sit in the cafe, and view the action through glass walls.

Fantastic experience: 3 hrs of free parking when you visit great facilities, swimming and splash zone with tube slides was great. The 12 year old niece loved it.

Positive experience: The cafe is a lovely clean place where the staff are more than helpful BUT the gym overhead has ruined a relaxing visit due to the extreme heavy banging from the weights being dropped, won’t be coming again

Fantastic experience: Facilities, value! Cleanliness, the food, the polite professionalism of the staff, all exemplary! Ideally could do with a bigger car park, but that’s only because it’s rightfully so popular! A shame that neither Scarborough or Whitby have anything similar.

The centre itself provides a Swimming Pool...& Various Activities, which was being taken up by the locals...which was great to see

Fantastic experience: Good place to drop off coach groups if there’s mobility issues be mindful though that the approach for both north and south can be a little tight for coaches on the roads but is definitely doable.Make sure you follow the signs to coach park after as some roads are coach restricted it’s easy enough and we’ll signposted.the coach park north of town has beach road train that can take them into town / beach area for a more fun experience. In addition to town has lots of shops open and appears quite bustling even at the backend of summer. I enjoyed my day at the centre whilst I waited and a brief look around Bridlington is definitely one of the better resorts in the area, much to do on the right day

Positive experience: Had a lovely day out here with the family. The only down side are the changing rooms Need looking at. I think that it could do with a wet side for when you get out And a day side before going into the pool area I would be willing to talk to the council about this anytime But apart from that a lovely time was had by all

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely place for me to take my grandchildren swimming in the Splash Zone. This is really easy to book and not expensive, parking is free on screen at reception when you book in also. Cafe facilities and spectator viewing is excellant.

Positive experience: Brilliant swimming bath /leasure centre ,got very busy and not much room to swim and play around once it started to full up but you got 1hr and half 2 fun slides and splash park bit

Fantastic experience: Good Clip n Climb climbing walls. More appropriate for older children/teens, or kids with climbing experience. A couple of them are quite tough especially if you try the challenges. Good value for money for a 90 minute session.

Positive experience: Only went swimming here, would of used the gym too...was put off didn't fancy doing a 1hour introduction before we could use. I believe if people are on vacation shouldn't need the introduction service if they have been using another gym for years. For anyone that's not sure could ask one of the PTs to demonstrate.

Positive experience: Decent facilities, for Brid... However, full members shouldn't need a paper laminated wristband everytime they attend, as well as their rubber chipped membership wrist band? Makes no sense. Members should also be able to scan at the gate to the changing rooms without needing to queue for the desk to go swimming. Totally unnecessary and wasteful, both time and resources. Poor management.

Fantastic experience: I normally go to Driffield leisure centre, but, on the advice on a friend decided to try Brid. Superior in every way. Much cleaner, toilets included. The swimming pool was so much cleaner on entry and the changing facilities were brilliant. A class place and I will definitely be travelling in again for the varied facilities and effort in upkeep. Outstanding brid leisure centre.

Fantastic experience: Great for parking took the grandkids to the splash pool they really enjoyed it booked tickets in advance a family of 4 under £18 for an hour and a half of fun they also have a climbing centre for the more adventurous kids well worth checking this out

Positive experience: Good swimming baths, great area for the kids, sauna x 2, jacuzzi, cafe gym, games hall, climbing, other sports and rooms that I have not seen.

Positive experience: Nice place, plenty of space and has a proper full disabled changing room. Coffee is nice from the cafe as well nice stop if your walking up the seafront for a quick drink and sit down.

Fantastic experience: Staff arround the pool are super focused on doing their job, keeping an eye out that everyone is safe. I visit in a work capacity as a support worker and they are very helpful/understanding of any issues that arise.

Fantastic experience: Great leisure centre. We went for clip and climb first thing, coffee and cake whilst the kids went climbing. Then went straight into swimming, plenty of lockers and changing rooms and the family pool and slides kept everyone entertained. Can’t promise it every time but saw dolphins out In the sea, but even without a great place to grab a few activities and some snacks overlooking the sea.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing time at the splash park with my 2.5 and 4.5 year old. Also had my 5 week old with me and the pool was plenty warm enough for him to play too!

Fantastic experience: The splash zone is fantastic. Toddler, baby and the grown-ups love it. Changing rooms always lovely and clean.

Positive experience: Nice activity, we got 1h ping-pong, then 2h swimming. What is really annoying is that you have to pay to use a hairdryer and lockers only with 1£ coin. But, next time we will know, you have to bring 1£ coins, I would like to see a spot where you can actually have a proper shower.

Fantastic experience: Nice location, we only used the café. The seating was arranged so that you could admire the view out to sea. The ladies behind the counter were very pleasant and helpful.the toilets were clean and tidy. A nice place to have a coffee.

Fantastic experience: Booked in to go swimming and had a great time. Not too busy but was lively. Very entertaining for our boys with slides and play area, plus pools. Plenty of access to lockers and showers. Booked as a family and price was very reasonable. Parking outside the building is free when using the centre (put your reg in at the counter) so no additional cost for that. We saw the climbing activity whilst there so plan to return for that.
