Positive experience: A bit tired of teens and some adults holding up the machines because they decided to gossip with the gym buddies or over the phone , and they should introduce dress code

Although sometimes this isn't possible, we do ask that other members are taken into consideration when taking breaks between sets. Negative experience: Awful place and the CEO is a supporter of PureGym is a supporter of genocide. Go elsewhere.
Negative experience: People hog equipment using it as a rest area,others stand posing beside them. There was a number of thefts from lockers etc,no shower open at night, vacuuming begins whenever you start your workout.

Positive experience: My recent visit to the gym left me with mixed feelings. The facilities and staff at Puregym are commendable, but I couldn't help but notice the overcrowding issue, leading to insufficient availability of machines. This aspect, unfortunately, affected the overall workout experience. I suggest Puregym considering measures to alleviate the overcrowding, perhaps by expanding the gym floor or implementing a reservation system for peak hours. Despite this concern, the gym atmosphere and staff were positive, making it a decent option for fitness enthusiasts willing to navigate the occasional congestion.

Fantastic experience: Top gym, clean and tidy with friendly helpful staff, could do with few more machines etc for back & chest, only one area for deadlifts & limited selection of weights in that area

Negative experience: BIG Dissapoinment! I was visiting uk and i tried to join the gym and its not possible if u dont have a uk bank account so this gym is not for everybody! Really bad

Negative experience: Gym is like a kiddies playground school kids everywhere messing around and school bags everywhere around the lockers. After 3pm forget about going near the place they swarm around machines in groups of 3 and 4 its ridiculous! I heard James the pt ask a kid one day what age he was he replied 13!!! Legal age for gyms in UK is supposed be 16. Also pure gym turm off/ restrict the air con to save money its pathetic and can be very uncomfortable training!!

Members must be at least 16 years old to be a member at PureGym, this is for health, safety and insurance purposes. We do ask members for ID if they appear younger and you can speak to staff on site if you have any concerns. The best way to pass feedback on for practical action is always to get in touch directly with the Gym Manager. You can approach them in the gym or leave a comment in the feedback box as this is regularly reviewed and will be taken into consideration for updates and improvements, or you can contact Member Services. Negative experience: Everything is good but one big issue is that conditioners is to high and to cold always in two months time training, me and my partner got twice cold and sick after our trainings. I understand that is very important good ventilation but the temperature of conditioners very low(cold)and high in wind all around gym . I think this should be really considered by management and make some changes to keep us healthy, safe and comfortable in better way. Otherwise we are very happy about this gym .

Fantastic experience: Kind helpful and knowledgeable staff....various equipment available for full body workout.....clean environment with disinfectant available at selected spots throughout the gym....open 24hrs thus you can workout at any time without any inconvenience

Fantastic experience: Nicole hawthorn is real credit to team. Have to say best cycle and bodytone class by far she pushed you to your limits makes you work a Sweat which you want from a class to feel the burn. Amazing welldone hope you show the boys how it's done couldn't get over it tonight huge thank you love love love classes tonight ❤️

Positive experience: was disappointed with the room as it was over the kitchen extractor fans ,the noise went on all day and night ,also the smell of cooking coming into the room when window was open ....the Bar Food and service was excellent

Positive experience: Honestly love the place with all my heart, but i just went to renew my 3 month fixed term membership only to find out its been rasied by £20 i dont know who thought of this but you have no idea how to run a good business.

Positive experience: Great equipment, good facilities, central spot. Can be slow getting in and out due to traffic lights but all in all good spot
Negative experience: Disapointed.. started spin class tonight wed 29th May Newry. my 30min spin class that started at 7:30 lasted 20 mins with a one min stretch after. Was out of the building at 7:52.. i did not sign up to this.. . Disapointed

My friend Mick was saying yous should open up a wee place called PurePints for post sesh pint of Guinness!! with a poker table and personal pint drinking trainers. Haha PureLegend. he also gave this place 5 stars. Got a year membership so will definitely be back

Positive experience: Convenient and easy to join but very busy and the machines only allow you to stay on for 20 mins before starting a 4 min cool down after which they stop.

But everybody is welcome, and we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities to meet demand, so please keep an eye out for updates. Regarding the machines, it is the case that if you set the mode to 'Fat burn' then it works in cycles of 20 - 30 minutes, allowing for a break and then getting back up to speed. However, you can set the machines just to a normal mode and run interrupted. I hope you're able to make the most of the gym and reach your personal fitness goals. Thanks, Henry, PureGym
