Positive experience: The hotel is inside an industrial estate and not much green spaces to walk around in, other than the mini garden. The service overall was fantastic! Most of the staff were very friendly! Especially the staff that were working at the restaurant on the Friday night. Unfortunately some of the staff we came across on Saturday were a little rude especially during the lunch service. They got the food order wrong and didn't fully correct it. I do understand that they were probably very busy, but at least make an attempt to correct what went wrong. Overall the food was brilliant and there was lots of it with Spa deal we booked (two night spa deal. So breakfast (x2), 1 lunch and 2 dinners (£30 pp) were included). The spa staff were very welcoming and helpful and skilled. I paid for an extra scalp massage and was disappointed by the treatment I received because it was with a trainee that started on the day I was booked in rather than an experienced staff member. Kinda felt it was a waste of £50 . The hotel pool and sauna and steam room can be used by outsiders. So Saturday was very busy with lots of children. Not what I was looking for when having a spa experience. The rooms were comfortable.

Positive experience: Fantastic customer service from.everyone at the hotel. I would recommend the spa area to be regulated as it was too busy to use certain facilties, the only disappointment, everything else was excellent.

Negative experience: Apart from friendly receptionist, I had not pleasant night with very bad pillow and mattres. Not comfortable at all, plus the hotel does not provide a toothpaste part of the room, and you have to pay for a dental kit to be able to have toothpaste. No any drinking water is provided in the room. The swimming pool is lovely.

Negative experience: Nothing luxurious about the experience! Toiletries provided don't include toothpaste...I hear even the Premiere Inn manages that! Staff will only respond from a pre-set form and leave you hanging on the phone in silence.

Negative experience: They advertised a role for a spa receptionist for 8 hours per week. To my surprise it was a group interview of 10 candidates. There was no notice ahead of the interview that it was a group interview and I felt some candidates may not have travelled such a distance had it been known to us in advance. I asked for feedback and they didn’t respond. I called to follow up for feedback and they said they don’t really do this and hung up before I could even reply. My family have stayed at this hotel several times and spoke highly, so I was very disappointed to have this negative experience. Perhaps it’s a different service if you’re a paying customer.

Positive experience: We were there for a formal dinner of 85 people. Tasty food, good vegetarian/vegan options, efficient service.

Positive experience: Been coming here since the mid ninetees when it opened. This last visit will probably be our last. Too many Spa memberships have been sold meaning that the Spa is over crowded. Additional rooms have been added over the years and the restaurant doesn't have capacity. The restaurant staff are very apologetic but if they didn't try to maximize the numbers they wouldn't have the problems. Food used to be exceptional but is now just good. Part of the bar area has been taken over by the restaurant and there's now very few seats in the bar. When you enter the hotel you have to walk past guests outside the front door smoking. 6 year old standing on the steps INSIDE THE POOL eating a packet of crisps, Spa staff happy to walk past her !!

Fantastic experience: I think what sets this hotel apart is its staff; from the very warm welcome by the concierge and receptionist on arrival, to the bar and restaurant staff and the spa staff (special thanks to Felicity, who really looked after us... thank you!). The room was very comfortable - not super-modern (eg no plug-point on one side of the bed) but the lovely fabrics and toiletries, and thoughtful touches such as fresh milk for tea, more than made up for it. Loved being able to control the room temperature ourselves. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - great food and service. Also really appreciated not having to make our own tea and toast in the morning, as you do now with so many hotels! Be aware that the spa does get very busy but it was still very enjoyable. Very happy with our break here, I'd love to return.

Fantastic experience: I stay here regularly and I love this hotel, it's really lovely, rooms are large, well equipped, beds are super comfortable, plus it's quiet at night, and the staff could not be nicer. The food is good too! The only 2 negatives are that the spa is really crowded these days as they have gone hell for leather on membership; and they don't have hand towels in the public toilets, only hand dryers.

Fantastic experience: The staff could not have been more accommodating. Everyone we came into contact with went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The hotel had lots of parking and the rooms were large, clean, well thought out and very comfortable. The hotel was also very quiet at night which was surprising given its proximity to the A14. The spa was lovely and the food delicious. We will be returning!

Fantastic experience: From check in to check out it was just a fabulous experience. My friend and I had an overnight spa break. The Spa and spa staff were amazing. The facilities, excellent. The food was really good. We had a signature twin room. Big, clean, loads of hospitality bits and pieces.Breakfast was awesome. Think it's safe to say, I would definitely return.

Negative experience: Room and hotel very outdated and not up to my expectation nor up to the price. I booked an executive room and still it was really bad and old fashioned.

Fantastic experience: Gorgeous hotel. Excellent service. Our room was upgraded without extra-charge. Luxury restaurant with lovely atmosphere, delicious food and good service. However, quite pricey, so I would recommend this for special occasions, not just to eat something. Afternoon the spa can be very noisy because of a lot of children. This did not affect us as we spent there nearly all day. If you are planning to come just for couple of hours and be peace and quiet, it is better to come before lunch or about 6pm-ish.

The dining menu and service are brilliant. I actually had the tastiest three course meal I've ever had at the hotel restaurant! So I highly recommend Kettering Park Hotel and Spa to everyone!

Fantastic experience: We held a very large family reunion at this hotel over a whole weekend. The hotel could not have been welcoming, organised, and perfect for our needs. The food for the main meal was great - served on time, hot and delicious. We also enjoyed the sumptuous breakfasts, and bar meals in the evening. The swimming pool and spa were a great bonus and the gardens wonderful for large group photos. The nearby park kept the children entertained for the morning.

Fantastic experience: A bit road noise from the A14 reported by some on that side of the hotel, but in all other respects the hotel is outstanding. The staff in particular were fantastic. Rooms lovely and clean with comfy beds (and I am fussy). Food in the restaurant was amazing (the breakfasts were a highlight) and they managed to cater a 3 course meal for over 100 guests with 0 complaints from a fussy family. Will definitely book here again for future events.

Fantastic experience: What a lovely hotel! The service from booking spa treatments over the phone to the moment we left the hotel was excellent. Every member of staff was fantastic and I’ve never seen such consistent service like that. Food was really good. Loved all the little extras like the fruit smoothie at breakfast and the choice of pillows. We had a spa package and thought it was very good value for money. Again the staff in the spa were fabulous. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I was with a group of 5 ladies on the Sunday Night Getaway package and can highly recommend the hotel, facilities and staff, who go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Our rooms were well equipped with everything you might need for your stay, and the beds were so comfortable! We had a treatment in the spa and used the pool, steam room and relaxation areas. All very well maintained and not too busy! We all agreed we would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic experience: I got gifted a one-night stay, 3-course dinner plus spa experience and thought it was excellent overall. The hotel itself is very luxurious, with open fires you can read your book by, a well kept garden with secret nooks to relax in, sumptuous rooms with soft bedding and a beautiful restaurant/bar area (the food was prepared to a very high standard, top-notch). The staff are very accommodating. I was also lucky enough to have a massage (also excellent) and access to the pool/spa area, which was crowded but still very pleasant.

Fantastic experience: Maureen (housekeeping), Rachel (waitress), and ALL of the staff members are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. I’m pleased to see that vegans & vegetarians are catered for too. We’ll be back!

Positive experience: We went for the ExtrABBAganza they hosted on Friday 23rd. It was disappointing. The band were good and played for 2 hours with a big break in the middle for staff to serve the main course. When you buy an evenings entertainment you are entitled to be sorely disappointed when it finishes at 10pm. There was a disco provided after by the performs but I'm sorry to say was terrible. The person doing the disco, considering she is in entertainment, had no clue the music she was playing was too slow and too fast. And for an ABBA night why are you playing disco music from the last few year, know your audience. The main course was bland and the pudding cake was dry

Positive experience: Better than the hotel we stayed at in London. We drove out an hour just to come back and stay with Kettering park hotel. So kid friendly going above and beyond for our son. They had cookies and a juice for our little guy, and even his own bath robe for kid’s time at the pool. The spa the best we saw and used while on vacation. Breakfast was outstanding as well.

Negative experience: Staff were lovely. However, this factor couldn't detract from the shock of paying £10.40 for two cups of tea! The location and offering of this hotel cannot justify this ridiculous cost.

Fantastic experience: A really nice place with great rooms, fantastic Leisure and all the peace and quiet you could desire!

Negative experience: Stayed here with family (two young children). Rooms are dated but clean. Just very creeky and the tap and shower head were old. AC works brilliant Service - apart from a friendly reception and one lovely cleaner, the restaurant staff were not as pleasant and not attentive. Not to mention what a horrible dinner we had here. Wished we had gone out to eat as it was not only expensive but the food was awful. I had a flank steak. It was so tough and tasteless paired with a watery sauce which was mixed with loads of pepper. The dressing on the salad was just oily and no flavour to it at all. My DH had a lamp chop and that gave him the runs… perhaps it was the flies flying around throughout the meal. The location was great, close to eatery so we didnt starve at least as the restaurant in this hotel was shocking.

Positive experience: We had a lovely time at the hotel for a one night spa break. Staff friendly and helpful, food and drink was lovely and the spa was what we needed! I have given 4 stars rather than 5 because we attended a spa hotel for a relaxation, like most people, however the hotel allowed a large number of children in the spa in the afternoon so it became like a kids pool rather than a relaxing spa, other than that we had a great time.

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely 2 nights away with my wife. Just what the doctor ordered. Great service and friendly staff, lovely gardens (helped by the fab weather) and a good sized pool to swim in. We had breakfast and dinner which we were both lovely (dinner menu could be a bit more expansive). Location is on a business park off the main road. Once you are in the hotel grounds it is lovely though you can hear the odd car on the main road when sitting outside. This did not impact our stay. Only minor complaint was on last day after checking out we asked if we could use the pool for a quick swim before we left, but were told that was not possible once you had checked out.

Fantastic experience: This was our 2nd event held here (two years was our wedding which just as outstanding) last weekend which a joint 2nd wedding anniversary and a "significant" birthday celebration for me. The staff,service and hospitality under the fabulous management of Sebastian and Poppy were outstanding as always. Nothing is too much trouble.The function room looked STUNNING and the food and entertainment were fabulous. All our guests and family from as far away as Wales, Eastbourne,London & Lincolnshire thought everything about the hotel and the very friendly & professional staff were amazing and made them very welcome. Thank you again KPH! You know we will see you again soon!

Negative experience: Just been for a meal in the restaurant and it was the worse meal i have ever had. The steak was so tough and grisely I sent it back and it was replaced with one just as bad. I asked for Diane sauce and receieved red wine sauce. The onion rings and my wife’s battered fish were soggy. The starter of lamb crumpets was as tough a# boots and my wifes tartlet was runny. When we made the staff aware they refunded the meal and were very apologetic. We will never be using the restaurant again, in the past the quality has been great but todays was abismal, maybe it was a Sunday night syndrome but nowhere nearthe standard required.

Positive experience: This was for just an overnight stay before heading to Sywell for the airshow. Staff very welcoming, room clean, comfortable and quiet. As the hotel is effectively in the middle of a business park, there's not much other option than the hotel restaurant if you want an evening meal. This was not a good experience, unfortunately: I would guess that it was either the head chef's night off, or he was just having an off night. What arrived was just about OK, but at the prices charged, not really up to the standard I would have expected.The wait staff were great, although seemingly somewhat embarrassed about having to report that some items were off the menu and the length of time it took for our wine to turn up. I would hope that this was a one-off and it has to be said that the breakfast next day was excellent.

Fantastic experience: I have been disillusioned by the hospitality industry in this country for quite some time. Having spent a career in Senior Hotel Leadership roles and Central Hotel Leadership strategic roles my entire career, I am delighted to say my family and I had the BEST possible experience. Every single touch point was OUTSTANDING. Check in was excellent, hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The service was genuine, warm and efficient ……. I have been so disappointed over the last 5 years (or so) and was feeling like hospitality had lost its Mo-Jo and that we have forgotten the basics of looking after people. My experience at the Kettering Park Hotel and Spa restored my faith that we can still do it well, with the right leadership and the right team. Quality moments like ‘afternoon tea’ with linen table cloths (not that we had tea, but witnessed it) and fresh planted flowers on the tables (wise investment). It was BUSY with two weddings, a party and leisure guests (we were leisure) and they still successfully managed to juggle the balls without dropping anything. BIG shout out to the Breakfast Team who ruled the roost with warmth, comedy and no nonsense approach, who were clearly excellent role models, who had their team well trained and knew exactly what to do to provide an excellent experience. Thea actual breakfast was excellent too! I could not recommend this hotel highly enough and its amazing team. All of the ‘big boy’ brands, who have lost their way, should go and take a look at what ‘excellent looks like’. 100/10

Positive experience: Our room which was a signature room the shower was’nt very hot , there was a broken skirting board and the bed was so uncomfortable we’ve both got sore backs this morning . We also had no TV it wasn’t working in our room . The Spa situation wasn’t good it was full of members and we had paid for an early checkin to be able to use the spa when it was jammed pack the whole time . When we did get to use the jacuzzi it was cold and complaints were made . The steam room didn’t have much steam and was really dirty and not clean . This was hardly a spa hotel break . The only good thing was the breakfast we had this morning and staff were polite . But this was for a birthday treat and really wasn’t what we was expecting from the advertised deal on your site. This wasn’t a relaxing spa hotel at all . We were very disappointed .

Fantastic experience: Stayed here for one night and the service was brilliant. The room was immaculate, very spacious, lovely showers, and had everything we needed e.g iron, hair dryer. All staff were incredibly kind and made our experience even better. Gowns and slippers were provided for the spa, which was very enjoyable. Could not fault at all, definitely recommend & will be returning :)

Fantastic experience: Our stay here was lovely, we came for our anniversary and although the staff were not aware they were incredibly kind, attentive and enthusiastic. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfy bed, the spa was very nice to although I didn't get to try any treatments. The food was also amazing, we have one evening meal, an afternoon tea and two breakfasts and wasn't disappointed at any point.

Fantastic experience: Warm and welcoming service from all staff. The hotel has a lovely spa, with plenty of space to relax both inside and outside. The property has a lovely garden with a fab Garden bar outside for al fresco drinks and/or food. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My spa treatment was fantastic, would highly recommend booking in. The bedrooms could be a little more cheerful (pop of colour would be great) but very comfortable and well appointed, with luxury products in the bathrooms, fluffy bathrobes, slippers, pretty china teapots with cups and saucers, a coffee machine and fresh milk and chilled water available on all corridors!

Fantastic experience: WiFi was good, food was good based off service, would always check back on you and the food to see if everything was okay. the workers couldn’t do anything more for you really. i know poppy served Ruby and myself for a table but I couldn’t remember any other names but all of the staff are good at their job. thank you so much for the night❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: A lovely hotel, lovely staff and the room was brilliant apart from one little issue. We were in room 200 which is next to a private/staff room. It got very loud in there after 23:30 until the early hours and we had no idea why? You could hear things being moved around, banging and at one point some music. This went on both nights we stayed there. I'm assuming that's where they sort things out, but having it next to a guest bedroom and so late at night was pretty annoying. The TV wasn't tuned in correctly so some channels were missing and the remote didn't work great. But I'm just getting picky now. So I'd definitely suggest staying at the hotel, but if you want a quiet night's sleep just maybe not room 200. It was really nice. I didn't complain whilst I was there because at the end of the day, it didn't spoil our stay.

Fantastic experience: Attended an event that was being held here. Travelling to the venue, the sat nav took us to an industrial estate, which I was not expecting. Having arrived at the hotel, we couldn't have been more pleased. We were staying with our dog Barney. From our first encounter at check in right throughout our stay all the staff were helpful and friendly. It says it's dog friendly, well it is. We had a dog friendly room, on the ground floor which was very clean it had a bed for Barney, with a bowl, towel and a treat. So we did not have to worry about bringing anything, only him. We were able to bring Barney with us for breakfast, we were sat away from the general restaurant seating as I do understand some people are not as Liberal with dogs in restaurants as I am, which if I am honest suited me too. The Spa was excellent, the food was great. If we end up coming back to Kettering, we will book here.

Positive experience: It was a birthday overnight treat. My husband and I had a fantastic time there. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. To our dismay we were allocated a twin room, we immediately called front desk and a manager arrived in minutes to convert it to a double as it was the only room left. The Spa facilities was excellent. Dinner was great, the best steak we've had in years. It was cooked to perfection and the food was served hot. The service at the restaurant was great as the staff catered to our every need. Our only disappointment was at breakfast, there was not an alternative meat option for those who does not eat pork. My husband had to choose the vegetarian option which he did not eat. We would book again and recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. I have spent a couple of days at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa due to a work conference and absolutely loved the place. Beautiful rooms, decorated elegantly, the products provided in the room were of quite good standards. Pet hate, the one size fits all bath slippers. On the negative side, the lack of plugs in the room, had I not had a long extension lead to enable me to use the corridor plug I would have to choose if I needed to unplug the TV, some USB ports are also needed. The bed was very comfortable and I was spoiled for choice when it came to pillows! The hotel is set back from a busy intersection roundabout and it enables it to be quiet for a great night's rest but easily accessible from the A14. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful, providing serenity and privacy, and the free carpark is definitely an asset. The Spa looked amazing and I do haveto say, the opening hours are good, nonetheless, it was almost like an impossible carrot dangled in front of one's eyes as due to the heavy work schedule it stayed out of the sphere of possible. (This time!) The breakfast is an amazing experience as not only there is a good variety of choices, but the staff are so wonderful, they make every request sound easily accessible. A great big congratulations to the person responsible for hiring and creating a marvel team of absolutely fantastic professionals like the people in reception, for being so helpful with everything but also the dedicated people who tended to our every need during the two days, I believe their names are Sarah and Adam. I will definitely be recommending this hotel and visit again!

Positive experience: My partner and I recently enjoyed a night at this hotel and spa, and we were impressed with the experience and service. The location, just off the A14, was incredibly convenient, with plenty of local shops and restaurants nearby. The room itself was lovely and spacious, equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, including great tea-making facilities, a mini fridge, a comfy bed, and a good-sized TV. While the spa facilities were relatively basic, they offered a relaxing escape, with a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. Despite the pool being slightly cold, the provided robe and slippers added a nice touch (however I did find a tissue in the pocket of the robe, so hopefully that didn’t mean it wasn’t washed!) Although the breakfast menu could have offered more variety, we can't fault the prompt service, and the food we did order was lovely. Overall, it was a pleasant short stay for the price paid, and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Fantastic experience: We had a lovely stay at Kettering Park hotel and spa. We stopped on a Saturday evening and enjoyed a visit to the pool and spa area, had a treatment and ate in the restaurant. We visited as two friends away for a childfree catch up. It was our second visit (first 2 years ago) and we worried that it might not be as good as we remembered but it definitely lived up to the memories. Pool and Spa area Clean and tidy. We arrived early and took advantage of early check in so the area wasn't too busy at this time (1pm-3pm) there were enough places to sit in between using the facilities. There is a pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. They are all of a decent size so you don't feel you are in a sardine tin when in the sauna. The changing rooms are spacious and have a few private cubicles and plenty if showe,6rs. The costume spinner was out of order but there were still a good supply of bags to put wet swimming costumes in. The treatment I had was wonderful, the therapist attentive and prior to this they provide a questionnaire which asks in regard the pressure you prefer and how much you like to chat. Room The room wad spacious and had all the amenities you need. The fridge houses a carafe, glasses and a small milk churn that you can fill from the water and milk machines on each floor. The supply of tea/coffee is great with a coffee machine, pods, a variety of tea bags (herbal, decaf as well as decaf coffee bags). The robes in the room are so soft that we put then on when we arrived to use in the spa and only dressed again for dinner. The toiletries are white company. Beds were comfortable and minimal noise from other guests. Restaurant Food was very nice and presented well. The staff were all very pleasant and especially helpful when my friend has allergy questions. I had baked alaska which is lit table side. I think it may have been the servers first time as she was accompanied by a serious looking colleague and she looked very pleased when she managed it. Breakfast is served a la carte and they have some good options to pick from. The table is laid as for dinner with table cloths and serviettes and there are plenty of little jars of various condiments for toast on the table. It feels like a nice meal rather than a sticky tabled free for all that it can feel like in some hotels. Overall There are lots of little touches that make this hotel feel special and the staff are on the whole very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic experience: stayed for the night of our wedding anniversary really enjoyed it, food in restaurant was excellent and had a fabulous couples massage. We will stay again.

Positive experience: A14 is a bit noisy first thing on a Monday morning. All the staff are professionally and welcoming. It's hard to get a lounger in the spa.

Fantastic experience: Local hotel, been for meals and drinks often, used spa facilities, can't comment on the rooms as never stayed. Had Sunday lunch recently and it was really lovely, get a glass of bubbly included in the Sunday lunch deal, staff always very professional and helpful, man behind the bar always extremely polite. Bit more expensive than some places but worth it for a nice meal out.

Fantastic experience: A nice hotel with 'older' style rooms that have some character to them. Check in lady was professional and pleasant. One of the most efficient breakfasts I've ever experienced. You're quickly sat at your table and order taken and delivered quickly. Food is of very good quality.

Fantastic experience: Lovely good sized, clean and well equipped rooms, at an easy to get to location. Reception desk friendly, easily understandable and pleasantly welcoming.

Fantastic experience: The staff are absolutely amazing. I stay in 30-40 hotels a year and these are the best. This was the second time I've stayed here and didn't review the first time in case I was just very lucky. This time I can say without any doubt, fantastic service. Limited menu as most hotels are, it's not going to be gourmet but it's always done right. Breakfast is not buffet which can seem odd having to list what you want but if you change your mind it isn't an issue. Fantastic ❤️

Fantastic experience: Went for lunch last Sunday.Restaurant was virtually full.Excellent selection on the menu and generous portions.Staff attentive and helpful.My partner who is virtually vegetarian enjoyed her 3 course meal.I had 2 courses which were more than enough.No doubt we will be returning soon

Fantastic experience: A stunning venue tucked out of the way, I've not stayed over but been here for meetings and events. Staff are always friendly, the spaces look great. I want to come back and try the rooms, and also the Spa and leisure facilities!
