Fantastic experience: Best gym ever. It is family owned, the owner knows every person in the gym by name and takes care of creating a very postive and welcoming athmosphere. I am really happy to have found this gym
Fantastic experience: I enjoy the spin class with Charmaine and PT sessions with Dan. He has no mercy in a good way and Charmaine motivates you and pushes you also but that’s because they want to bring out the best in you. It works because you push yourself also and realise how much more you can achieve once you put your mind to it. What tops it off is the PNF stretches, between and immediately after the PT session. My muscles feel better. The routine of the spin class, PT sessions and most effective the PNF stretches were the key factor in my preparation for the 100 miles cycle event. I did intense PNF stretches the evening before and my legs were amazing during the Ford ride London cycle event. They tolerated the hills really well, even I was surprised but truly grateful. I would recommend Dan’s PNF stretches. I completed the 100 miles in case you were wondering .

The owners, Dango and Charmaine, are incredibly knowledgeable about gym etiquette, business, and how to respect your body, providing valuable guidance and support. Miami Health Gym offers a wide range of services, including personal training, group exercises, wellbeing programs, teacher training, and much more. They cater to both professionals and the local community, offering support for those with underlying personal issues. Every Thursday from 6pm to 6:45pm, they host Safari Dance Fitness for instructors, which is a must-try! The gym is currently undergoing refurbishment to address some wear and tear, which is expected given the passage of time. Once completed, Miami Health Gym will be even better equipped to serve everyone. Highly recommend this gym for its excellent service and welcoming environment.
Fantastic experience: Just started here this week. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the gym floor has a wide array of machinery for all types of workouts !

Fantastic experience: South East London’s best kept secret. Proper sauna for £15. Dan the owner is a lovely person, it’s clean and friendly. Don’t be a put off by the website and give them a call to let them know to get it heated up.
Fantastic experience: I use the sunbeds here, both the stand up and laydown are excellent machines and in great condition. Dan helped me with all my novice questions and walked me through using the machines and safety etc. Ive had a nosey about the place and the gym looks great. Considering becoming a member very soon. Dan knows his stuff, hes a great guy and the healthclub really is a little gem in the area. 100%

Fantastic experience: Me encanta este gimnasio y, más aún, me agradan las personas que allí trabajan. Tiene las máquinas precisas para poder entrenar apropiadamente e inclusive, tiene un salón gigante para realizar otro tipo de actividad como cardio, aeróbicos, baile, etcétera. Lo más importante es que el dueño del gimnasio es una persona súper amable y siempre trata de orientarte cuando lo necesitas; dentro del gimnasio se vive en un ambiente cálido y armonioso. Yo llevo, casi, 2 años entrenando allí y quiero continuar mucho tiempo más. Lo recomiendo completamente. Si lo que se busca es "Un cambio para tu vida", definitivamente, éste es tu lugar.

Fantastic experience: Dan is the man! A truly humbling experience. Reminds me of a Arnold era or power lifting gym. Upon first walk in I was immediately greeted by Dan. He was very knowledgeable and is a personal trainer as well. He proceeded to tour me around the facility and introduced me to all of the members there and even new ones that came in! Gave the gym a very community feel. I signed up for a week pass during my stay and I was surprised by the cleanliness and variety of equipment in the gym. I have yet to even see some of these machines in commercial gyms. There is no shortage of dumbbells or plates either. It's no joke, they get up there in size especially the dumbbells. I also took advantage of the sauna they offer. It's one of those where the rocks heat up and you can pour water to increase steam levels, what an experience! There are also plenty of showers and code enforced lockers for your belongings. No need for locks, woo! Overall this is a kickass gym that I'd recommend for anyone. Not only can you get a good lift or cardio sesh in, but you can join in on some of the classes offered like Zumba, cycling(bike) classes and more. You can tell that the owners truly care and take care of this place. I not only met the owner that week, I made a friend. Looking forward to coming back.

Fantastic experience: My first ever hair removal experience, (not done by myself) and Charmaine did not disappoint! From her welcoming and reassuring nature, to her expertise and obvious knowledge, everything was spot on! Negative experience: Looks tiny like an old basement old equipment not like commercial gyms afew rusty old barbels and weights nothing fancy. Not worth 30quid. Walworth gym charge 25 and they have got all the machines and equipment you need and very spacious.
You obviously seem to be confused about the place you’re rating, or maybe you got a vested interest at the gym you referred to. I suggest that you look through our gym photos to refresh your mind and correct yourself We’ve have so many people transfer from the gym you referred to ours for many reasons. I guess they must be the people who take their training seriously.

Fantastic experience: A* SERVICE - A fantastic family gym and beauty salon. I was seen to immediately upon arrival and offered water. My treatment was fantastic and completed by a lovely therapist in a relaxing room. I would highly recommend this venue to all my family and friends.

Negative experience: Incredibly disappointed that I was only contacted with an explanation and an apology after I had waited 20mins and left. I suppose that's acceptable if a new client has already paid £50 upfront.
Shortly before arriving, Vanessa Smit had telephoned us to claim that she had an appointment booked and was on her way in for it. She arrived for an appointment supposingly booked through a third party company called “Treatwell” with whom we have a “5 Star” rating and had been partners for good number of years. Treatwell is a UK based company that allow clients to book treatments online at their chosen clinic. Clients always pays Treatwell directly, who would then pay the clinic only after the service had been provided, having deducted their commission. When she arrived, Vanessa Smit was warmly welcomed and allowed to take a seat. She arrived late according to her own scheduled time for her treatment. Her therapist was then contacted to check why she wasn’t present. She explained that there was no appointment booked for her, so I went to our upstairs office in order to double check with Treatwell, to be informed that Vanessa Smit had made no booking on their system. The whole event took about 5 to 10 minutes. When a got back to the reception to explain the fact that she had made no booking with Treatwell, hence non with us, she had already disappeared without a word. I then retrieved her telephone number from her earlier phone call to us and telephoned her. When she answered, I explained to her that the fact was, definitely she had not made a booking via Treatwell and suggested that maybe she had booked with a different company. To which she replied “I am going to cancel her booking”. I then said to her “How can you cancel a booking that has not been made?” After which she terminated the call, and so I was bewildered to see that she had given us this one star rating for a treatment that she did not book with us and furthermore had not received any treatment from our establishment ever. She seems to be a very confused person on this matter. How can you claim to have paid £50 to a company with whom you had made NO booking with?
Fantastic experience: I went for an hour-long sports massage, and it was absolutely amazing. Dr Charmaine very knowledgeable and explained to me the whole process down to human biology. I'll be coming back on a regular basis.

Good rates for studio hire and a lovely space I used for dance choreography Location also readily accessible, particularly in the evening when it is free to park directly outside Highly reccomend

Negative experience: Absolute scam. I paid for a personal workout plan and never got it despite calling many times. Prices are not justified, you’re better off in any other gym in London.
This was a personal training sessions that João had paid for and not a workout plan, for which we spent nearly 2 hours instead of the scheduled 1 hour at no extra cost. Scam is when you don't receive something that you had paid for. Our 1 hour Personal training rate is normally £60. I believe, you were only charged £40. If you had paid the additional fee for a workout plan you would have received one. We have been in the health & fitness business under the same company name for over 30 years and have a great number of satisfied clients.
Fantastic experience: This 4,000 square ft gym is fantastic and I have been attending for several years. They have various machines, free weights area and cardio machines, which are perfect for my workout routine. The indoor spin and aerobics classes are second to none. Also, the children's Tae-Kwon-Do classes are busy - if it wasn't for my age I'd join in too! The turbo sunbeds, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi areas are ideal for my post workout relaxation! Lastly, the stand up and lay down turbo beds are reasonably priced with superb strength and are high quality. I would highly recommend this private family run business to all. If I could give more stars for this venue, I certainly would!

Fantastic experience: Cannot thanks these guys enough. I used to be a member a few years back and now a member again, I remember what I miss. A friendly team, steam, sauna (You cant find these on your doorstep, Old Kent road, easily) but you can here. The only place around with both. Lots of gym equipment/machines, you wont miss a muscle lol! Spa facilities, sunbed and lots of activies/sports for the kids too! This place has been around for years and the only gym around Old kent, an AMAZING (family run gym) and you can really feel that, I love it. Where everyone is welcome. Thankyou Miami health.

Sorry, for opening late. Must have been due to traffic hold ups. We now offer ealy opening before 9am if requested.

Fantastic experience: After working out at Miami Health Club for the last 9 months I was sad to let them know I was moving away from the area. Miami Health Club is a family run gym that I grew to love going to quickly. The staff has a positive vibe and was always there with a smile and an encouraging word. They truly care for their members and I highly recommend it to anyone. If you like to be part of a community of friendly positive people then this is the gym for you.

Negative experience: A grotty, run down gym that, despite several phone calls, never gave me the products I paid for.
I believe that this was a “KGB deal”, offering; a one hour massage, 30 minutes body tone session, and use of the spa (Steam, Sauna & Jacuzzi), & "Phytomer" products. The normal value was £169 and was offered at £29, stating that the products where subject to availability. The product supplier had limited quantities and hence the reason for subject to availability term. We had some many clients that it was not possible to supply the products to all at the time. 99% of our client were extremely pleased with the deal and understood when the products where no longer available and because they had a fantastic deal at 78% discount without the products and, 83% with the products, almost all were thoroughly satisfied and enjoyed their treatments. After her treatment, Charlotte did say she enjoyed it and we did tried our very best to obtain some more products, but as these were no longer in production, it was no possible. Charlotte, you can contact us to discuss a suitable replacement, as those "Phytomer" products are no longer available.
