Fantastic experience: Legendary 5 star experience. The addition of the workstation spaces makes it feel extremely professional and the table service for the food and drinks is very convenient. Primarily however, the customer service is absolutely legendary, especially the lovely lady that served us at the workstation table. They were mindful and concerned about any allergies. Thank you for the five star experience. I usually wait until I have left the place before leaving a review, but it has been quite pleasant and welcoming, so far.

Fantastic experience: Lovely warm relaxing entrance with a welcoming feel. Staff always say hello. Sales Manager Leon was excellent. I honestly don’t think I would have joined had it not been for him. He was friendly, understanding and has a very welcoming and caring approach. I was thinking about joining approx 6 months ago and had Leon been there then I probably would have joined at this time. He is not pushy at all but shows natural selling skills. I feel I can go to him at anytime with concerns, questions and advice even though I’m now signed up and have moved onto the next stage. Fitness class instructors were all friendly and welcoming. Nearly all instructors asked if I had any injuries etc and took the time to speak with me one to one. Yuliya, Emma, Elouise, Nicola and Louise really stood out for me. All made me feel very welcome which put me at ease immediately. The whole club is a very warm, welcoming place. It is more than a gym and this is what I personally needed to get me back into fitness and for my general mental health. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: Met lovely Katie when joining the gym who was very welcoming, so too are the staff when you arrive/leave the gym or have any questions. The facilities are fantastic, lots of kit to choose from and classes available. The pool, sauna and steam room are all very clean and the benefits to joining up make the membership very worth well worth it!

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, everything you need in one building, the swimming pool is massive and has so much to offer. very friendly staff, me and my partner joined and we had the tour from Katie Taylor who was so friendly and kind. She showed us round the whole gym and was very patient explaining everything as we’ve never been to a gym before so very new to us. Katie helped us sign up and get everything set up I really couldn’t recommend the staff enough at David Lloyd all so welcoming from the moment you step inside the building. We love going and spend most of our free time here would highly recommend 10/10 for us!

Fantastic experience: My teenage daughter and I joined the club this month and we absolutely love it. There is a lot of equipment, the swimming pool is great (you can use the heated one outside). The place is amazing, very clean and a great atmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially Andy Dixon, who showed us and explained everything and was always helpful when I had questions. My daughter loves staying there and I, well - a little luxury every day won't hurt :) I highly recommend this club.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined David Lloyd at Port Solent, with a membership for myself, my wife and son after having a tour by Megan Atkins who was really enthusiastic and knowledgeable without being at all pushy. It has some great classes, the gym is well equipped and hasn't been crowded whenever I have visited. The indoor and outdoor pools offer a great alternative exercise as well. I travel quite a bit for work and like the fact I can use other locations as part of my membership. All the staff I have met and talked to have been extremely friendly and helpful. I find the app a little clunky, especially creating custom training plans, but it's in no way unusable. As part of the membership we each had three free PT sessions to get us up and running. I had mine with Sarah Butterworth, who was brilliant! Sarah walked me through the Bio Age tests, the mobile app and guided me round the gym equipment before creating a custom workout plan taking into account my goals and issues I have with an old shoulder injury before running through the plan with me - thank-you Sarah.

Fantastic experience: We have recently joined the David Lloyd gym, after a wonderful tour and conversation with Megan. She was full of information and was able to answer all our questions. Highly recommend talking to her if you want to join.

Fantastic experience: Newly joined David Lloyd Port Solent. I am really enjoying it. The whole layout is perfect. Every aspects are very balance; swimming indoor and outdoor, gym room very spacious, classes are very wide range from high intensive to very relaxed are all covered. The cafetia area is very comfortable. Finally, staff are very friendly. I am really pleased that Andy Dixon has beenpleased helpful and give very good personal touch. It's really worth to have a tour around here. :)

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the customer service on several occasions recently. Have been trying to get a copy of my membership bill for a few weeks. No one in the club seems to be able to help and they keep referring me to their app and email. Have messaged them several times - no response or call back. I then call the head office to speak to a very unhelpful person who kept referring me back to email! Please can you get in touch with a break down of my bill.

Fantastic experience: Had a tour of the club with Andy who was super helpful and answered any questions I had. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The gym is lovely and spacious with a good variety of equipment and it’s great to have 2 lovely pools (indoor and outdoor).

Fantastic experience: I gave recently been shown about by Kein at the port Solent DL. Looking to join with my 2 children, 8 & 11 there seems to be lots for them to do to. Evoke more active with myself. I’ve always been a big daunted about gyms, this gym seems very welcoming with a huge variety. Leon the sales manager, himself was very knowledgable friendly and not pushy at all, happy with me to think about signing up and it didn’t have to be on the day.

Positive experience: The Air Conditioning in the studios has not been working for at least the past 4 months. The fans work but no cold air. Hot yoga is a thing ... perhaps they are trying to make Hot Bodypump and Hot Zumba a thing also!!!

Fantastic experience: Finally, we've found a gym we love going to. Megan was so helpful when joining. What stood out was how un-pushy she was. She followed up when she said she would and was always on hand to answer any questions. The gym is well equipped, very clean (important to me) and I love being able to work from the Workstation.

Fantastic experience: Having had a trial swim at david Lloyd port solent,I booked a tour. Katie showed me round and I joined up. Nothing was too much trouble for her and I have since enjoyed a number of swims since. Not tried the rest of the gym yet but thoroughly enjoying my time swimming. Thanks Katie.

Andy Dixon who showed me round was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. Fantastic experience: My teenage son and I have recently joined David Lloyd Port Solent. Initially we met with Megan who was so helpful and informative. Megan has responded really quickly to any queries and is always a friendly face around the club. My membership came with 3 kick start sessions. Megan suggested a few members of the team who would be ideally suited to my needs and she was spot on. I have been working with Holland who is so lovely. Holland has given me the confidence to use gym machines I would never have dreamed of and she has the perfect balance of providing challenge just within my capabilities. I would highly recommend Holland, especially if you are not feeling gym confident. Initially I thought the monthly fee was much higher than I had been paying elsewhere. However, after a month at David Lloyd I am so pleased I took the plunge, it really is worth it. It really is making such a difference. There are so many classes, I have never had a problem accessing equipment and it is such a nice friendly space. The pool is brilliant. I love the way David Lloyd is accessible to anyone but I particularly love the thought that has gone into making fitness accessible to young teens. My 13 year old is loving the gym and feels comfortable to use it where he wouldn't have even entertained the idea at some other places. I really am so glad we joined. Well done to all of the Port Solent team.

Fantastic experience: We recently joined David Lloyd's gym in Port Solent. We spent two days visiting all the local gyms with pools. David Lloyd's was by far the most impressive, albeit the most expensive, however the adage of 'you get what you pay for' is never more apparent than here. Superb facilities, coupled with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Its a place to relax as well as a gym. But the most deciding factor for us was the initial welcome, tour and subsequent help of Megan Atkins, who ensured we had a seamless entry to the club, and has continued to assist, all questions we asked, however daft, were answered quickly and accurately. All in all top quality.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I visited the gym and was pleased with what I found. As a member in London, I found the gym to be clean, spacious, and well-equipped with many machines. The reception staff, both the man and the woman, were very helpful and the overall environment was tidy. Even though it was just for one day, I really enjoyed my workout there.

Positive experience: Loved my visit with my friend who is a member. I think I would spend the time swanning around the steam room and jacuzzi rather than working it in the gym. Nice vibe. Loved the outside pool but plenty of green mould to be cleaned up after winter. Lunch was hopeless. It is a busy half term holiday and there seemed to be 2 young people on, looking after the cafê. They're all lovely people and delightful, BUT, DL is making a fortune and therefore if you offer a restaurant or café, staff it adequately. ! SIMPLE.

I was very impressed and caught off guard by the professionalism and amazing facilities that David Lloyds offers. The best part was how Georgia Langton met all my needs, she was very efficient and I chose to sign up on the spot. I would never go anywhere else now all because of Georgia Langton and the rest of the amazing staff at David Lloyd Port Solent. Highly Recommend ;)

Fantastic experience: I experienced exceptional customer service upon arrival to David Lloyd from Ollie. I turned up out of the blue to enquire about membership. I had lots of questions, Ollie was clearly busy, but made time to thoroughly answer all my questions and show me how David Lloyd would benefit me. I was not made to feel rushed or pressured into joining. However, joining has had incredible benefits! Not just in my fitness, it has had a distinct impact on my moods and over all wellness and stress levels. I use all the facilities David Lloyd has to offer, gaining the most out of my membership. The pool and spa facilities are such a bonus and are clean and managed to a high standard. I have received excellent training sessions from Sarah. I highly recommend! Also, when Ollie or staff are using the gym, they are still supportive and helpful. Great vibes at Port Solent. Super friendly atmosphere! I have now joined my children Thanks Ollie and Sarah

Fantastic experience: Nice facilities, and it's nice that everything is in one place. Can do a gym session or class and then go for a swim after to cool down. Before grabbing a bite to eat in the club or in the boardwalk. The staff have been incredibly friendly Georgia in particular gave us a tour and has checked in when ever we have seen her in the club since.

Fantastic experience: I have had such positive interactions with Miranda on every visit (Welcome Desk), she is such a positive energy and someone I look forward to seeing every time I come to the club. I have especially decided to leave a review as she goes the extra mile, taking time to know members and their baseline behaviour. I was having a difficult time and Miranda was able to shift my thinking very difficult matters. This just gives my experience at the club that extra edge because I know the team have a holistic approach to their service delivery.
