Strength Academy Wales

Negative experience: Wanted somewhere that was able to help my son, who is disabled. They promised they could help him, but after a few weeks, he was made to feel that he was in the way, and other sessions were more important. More or less asked to leave and never given the refund of the months subscription that was outstanding!!!

Fantastic experience: Initially I was a little concerned about returning to the gym. Signed up for the 'Intro to Strength' group sessions. I can highly recommend this course of training. Staff are amazing. Taking time to explain exercises & the benefits. They gently encourage you to work towards your limits. Enjoyed it so much I signed up for full membership. To add I am 59 & it had been 30+ years since I worked out in the gym.

Fantastic experience: The people and atmosphere at Strength Academy Wales are welcoming and supportive; it's not full of people who look like they live at the gym (although Helen might!) and everyone really is made welcome, encouraged and given time - and the introduction programmes are especially accessible. Oh, and one of the coaches just won at the Nationals in her weight category! The ONLY downside I found was the lack of a shower afterwards.

Fantastic experience: My home educated kids attend strength academy Wales every Monday and have really improved their fitness. The instructors are great with the kids and really have helped them with their technique, and the facilities are also excellent.
