Fantastic experience: Well stocked gym for all levels of fitness. The gym is kept clean and tidy. Changing rooms are ample for number levels that visit the gym. Showers available that are kept clean.

Fantastic experience: Large, airy gym with a wide range of weights, resistance machines and cardio equipment to use. Staff are helpful and friendly. The gym is clean and tidy unlike other gyms. Price of membership recently increased to £19.99 which is still a bargain and more than reasonable in the current climate. Good to support a local, independent business too as opposed to a chain.

Fantastic experience: Located away from the main areas so the vibe there isn't as High Street as your obvious places. Good size, nice variation of equipment and feels like a nightclub inside. For less than £17 a month, it's a bargain.

Fantastic experience: An affordable and clean gym with great range of equipment and lots of parking. My favourite thing about this gym is the staff, they are personable, knowledgeable and always willing to help (Neil in particular is just fab). The fact that there are also free classes available within the membership cost is an added bonus. I would highly recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Probably the worst gym I’ve ever been to! You can’t where hats or hoody’s according to the manager it’s to keep the rif raf out. Which is ridiculous! And you can’t get on any of the machines because of all the groups of underage kids on machines just using the place as a meet up. Some days I could only just about get a bench because of all the kids playing around in there instead of actually working out.

Negative experience: WORST GYM IN THE AREA, AVOID THIS GYM! The equipment is bang average & poorly positioned/setup throughout. All the equipment is on top of one another. FULL of under 16's who get in the way of your workout & don't put weights away who train in groups of 4/6. The owners are incredibly RUDE, obnoxious & patronising and talk to the members in a disguising way (read other reviews to back up this point). The rest of the staff are incredibly inconsistent with their "rules" such as not wearing hats and training in larger groups. The disco lights throughout the gym are tacky are dazzling, especially when using the benches. Lockers never work and the hygiene is very poor. Prices often go up without any warning. Plenty of better gyms in the area such as Pure Gym or The Gym! Don't waste your money! I'm sure this review will be met with a lovely sarcastic response from one of the owners, just like all the other negative reviews. (As you can see the owners have got on their high horse as usual and got very defensive without addressing any of the issues above)

Fantastic experience: A fantastic gym, with loads of equipment that is great for those who like lifting. Lots of great classes too. Super cheap also.

Fantastic experience: I love this place as an alternative to the usual gym. I do 2 or 3 dance/zumba classes a week, for me a much better alternative to the treadmill or bike and means I actually do use my membership which at £17 a month is really good value.

Positive experience: Limited free weights area which can be a little snug during peak times, but numerous resistance machines and cardio. Stair master, treadmills and bikes, also 2 rowers. Large hall area for classes and general free time. TRX area, room for sled and battle ropes and also stretching mats. Overall great gym for monthly costs.

Fantastic experience: I'd been a member of bardellos for a couple of years and only cancelled because I moved away. The staff are lovely, the equipment is kept clean and management are always happy to answer any questions. The price is really reasonable for the quality that you get. Highly highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Awesome place

Positive experience: Great gym and very competitively priced. There’s a good set of free weights, cardio machines, tyres, ropes and a weight sled area. The gym has a large floor space for classes as well. The only limitation of the gym, as it’s a repurposed industrial unit, is the shower facilities are limited to two cubicles in the men’s changing area. I’d imagine a base layer will be needed in the winter, or just work out that much harder. The UK’s summers aren’t hot enough to create a sweat box during the day but it can get warm if you hit the cardio hard enough.

Fantastic experience: Never been a gym-goer before, but this gym keeps me coming back. It's excellent value for money and has the all the basic equipment. It's sometimes crowded early in the week, but much freer later on. Good atmosphere and lovely management team too.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined after being a member of DL and Crowne Plaza. Really easy to join and no joining fee. Entrance by pin code - no cards to remember which is good. Ample parking. Good selection of cardio and weight equipment. Music not my cup of tea but i take my phones. Great if you just want to exercise and go. Very good value compared to competition.

Negative experience: Disgusting place! Staff are rude! Especially the manager she has no people skills or management skills what so ever, she thinks she’s police an most definitely is the wrong job!

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined Bardello after Covid19 and the place is amazing. I been to many gym's and work in a gym , so I have a good background to review. Honestly I was blown away , the place is always clean, staff go above and beyond , members are great and the equipment is top notch. I love the lights and the lighting effects too. Cannot wait for my session there tomorrow ☺️. Excellent Gym.

A really well-equipped, first class gym with everything that you need without paying the extortionate cost of a corporate gym. Modern equipment, clean, lots of space and lovely people. The staff are always so welcoming, and I believe the comment was not a fair reflection on the gym. Also I don’t understand how someone has managed to get offended over laminate signs...

Negative experience: A dance club first, gym second. Tiny gym area and bad habits allowed to continue - no enforcement. A lot of 'personal trainers' use their shift to listen to droning house music making the environment downbeat and lathargic, a miserable place to workout without headphones. However, if you love passive aggressive laminated signs on every piece of equipment then this is the place for you! The price reflects the quality of equipment and environment. They fooled me once, shame on them. Time to find a new gym.

Positive experience: I really like this gym. Cheap, well equipped, friendly and never too full. Only downsides would be the amount of room in the changing rooms and that the showers need the button pressing every ten seconds. Tiny things really. I also wonder whether they'd benefit from moving some of the resistance equipment into the dance floor bit. It's very cramped. There's only just enough room for to get weights onto the incline bar, and you can't fit between a lot of the machines.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous Zumba classes with amazing instructors. I’ve been a member for seven years and enjoy every class immensely. Always friendly staff and very clean. Fantastic!!

Positive experience: Currently a member here & the place is excellent value for money. If, like me, you just want to workout and go, then this is a great place to do so, especially as the vast majority of gyms nearby are at least double the price! I like the low lit club feel, nothing is more annoying that bright artificial light blinding you when working out! Staff are constantly cleaning & the fact that they have a member limit shows they value quality over quantity. A minor annoyance is the male changing area which is very compact & gets crowded quickly, as does the weights area during peak times. I also feel that a couple of treadmills and exercise bikes could be sacrificed to make way for a stair master machine which would add some much needed variety to the CV area.

Positive experience: Nice up to date gym with night club lighting. Gym is very clean and modern. Could do with more classes in the evening for working people as the classes run more in the day time. Equipment is good.

Fantastic experience: The gym is addictive. At this price we love working out here. They are friendly and helpful and the classes are a hoot. We are always trying to loose weight but this makes a great time to go and have some fun and loose weight at the same time. The PT’s are really great and always friendly

Fantastic experience: Have been a member of this great gym for many years. Love all the classes and gym machines that are available. The instructors are helpful and has lots to offer. This is my Happy place..... and love it.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, regardless of the cost. A vast array of cardiovascular equipment and areas for functional training. Many classes and huge Floor for such classes. Free weight area modern and has most of what’s needed but it can get a bit crowded peak hours so one needs to be able to perhaps adapt program a bit in the moment. Certain times of the day as early morning and early afternoon it’s fantar as so quiet. The area is spotlessly clean so I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about it being dirty. Compared to other gyms it’s so much more tidy and clean. Not even any dust or equipment /weights out of place. The More hardcore bodybuilding and fitness gyms are much more untidy, unclean and worn in comparisons and larger chain gyms are not as clean or as well kept and maintained as Bardello. I would believe anyone who criticised Bardello for uncleanliness has done so with an ulterior motive

Positive experience: Does exactly what is says on the tin. Great low price gym with all the machines, benches and weights I need. Only faults i would mention are the showers and changing rooms aren't the best and a spin class would be good.

Fantastic experience: Lee Stevens are you sure you went to Bardello's? I have been a member for a good 5 years now and love the place. Friendly staff and members, no looking down noses if you aren't wearing designer gear or you aren't a size 10. Classes are brilliant, well attended and the dance floor is perfect. The gym equipment is of the highest quality. I have never witnessed smelly toilets, and believe me I would be the first to complain if they did. The gym equipment is regularly wiped down and the place is very clean and tidy. I would rather attend Bardello's than any other gym including those which cost the earth. Great place, great atmosphere, really recommend Bardello's.

Fantastic experience: Bardello is a comprehensive and hygienic gym, with great staff and an excellent variety of equipment, including free weights, a TRX station, a collection of exercise machines and regular classes. The value is great, too.

Negative experience: Staff are rude, The gym owners think they can talk to customers how they like and think they are something special . Several times me and several other members have found packets from medical equipment (steroids Users) laying around and Changing rooms smell of urine. DON'T JOIN THIS PLACE

Positive experience: Ok for the money. Limited equipment and small free weights area. Has large dancefloor in the middle which is a bit odd.

Negative experience: Not a bad gym but often impossible to train as they have an aversion to using their Air Conditioning.....it gets very, very stuffy in their converted warehouse unit which leaves people gasping for air.

Staffs attitude towards their customers are not good, immature, non helpful especially when you highlight their mistakes or bring in an issue to their notice to be sorted. The fee is less compared to other places but you should be ready to compromise on quality of service. Definetly will not recommend.!
