Negative experience: The gym facilities are outdated and poorly maintained, with worn-out equipment that clearly needs replacing. The spa, a key selling point for many, is frustratingly closed more often than it's open. Despite this inconvenience, no compensation is offered to members. To make matters worse, the café is filthy and constantly unkept, adding to the overall lack of care at this establishment. Unfortunately, it falls far short of expectations.

Fantastic experience: Louise & Rachael in the crèche are absolutely brilliant. Our little boy used to get really upset leaving me to go to the crèche, he now loves going because of Louise & Rachael. He comes out with a beaming smile and has always had fun.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Reception Team on Friday 23rd August Afternoon Shift. Really attentive and engaging with my little Boy. We definitely felt welcome and well looked after. We had a great Afternoon Swimming and spending quality time together before School Starts.

Fantastic experience: Had a fabulous evening at David Lloyd Bromsgrove 22/7/24. Lovely reception staff, very welcoming and obviously enjoy their job!. Highlight was Dan's Zumba class, always brilliant fun and good calorie burn too! Dan is a brilliant instructor who brings the energy, fun and good vibes. The class is a credit to the club as it is very inclusive with old,young, men, women, beginners and veterans!

Fantastic experience: David Lloyd Bromsgrove is a great friendly gym. Staff and members are very welcoming and classes are inclusive and varied. Loads of great instructors, the dance classes with Dan and Phil are excellent, lots of fun and good calorie burn. Reception staff are helpful especially Karen and Karin.

Fantastic experience: Great quality classes and instructors. Zumba with Dan is the best Zumba class I've attended, gives you a real feel good feeling so much fun

Fantastic experience: I attended a Blaze class last week and it was fantastic! Carla was an incredible instructor. She conducted the class really well and was motivating and enthusiastic. She pushes you to your limit in the most supportive way, enabling you to get the most out the of the workout class. Can’t wait to attend again ☺️

Fantastic experience: We have been at David Lloyd’s for a few months now and love it! Reception staff cannot do enough for you and always happy. Food from the club house is nice with a good selection. My experience so far has been more pleasurable than I imagined, specially being an newbie to the gym scene. I wouldn’t be as confident or comfortable with the gym if it weren’t for PT with Sophie she is brilliant, and quite funny! I cannot recommend her enough My son also enjoys the kids club and often attends different classes, the lads are the highlight of his of his week! Football on a Tuesday is the favourite Thanks DL

Our little one has been going since she was 12 weeks and Rach and the team are always so welcoming. She seems so happy to go each time we take her, with huge smiles. Positive experience: Fantastic club, blaze is a competitive but friendly class with excellent instructors Carla, Laura and Innocent. The synergy class run by Chris is also great for fitness. I use the gym 5-6 times a week and am always greeted by a friendly reception team who like a laugh! The gym is also a good social.

Fantastic experience: Great club, feel like I live here. The kids love the clubs, Rebels, playing Tennis and swimming. I love a Blaze class and everyone is supper friendly. The restaurant and adults area alllws you to work aswell making the place my second home!! A big shout out to Rachel in the crèche/DL kids club for all the hard work she put in to her role. Nothings ever to hard and she makes going the gym that little bit easier :)

Fantastic experience: Great to be able to go to a gym having a young child because of the crèche facilities! Rach and her team are fantastic to the point where my little one asks to go to the gym more than me!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for about 18 months, primarily for the crèche, and it’s so worth it. Being able to leave my daughter in the wonderful hands of Rachel and go and have an hour or 2 to myself is priceless. Rachel is always super happy to see my daughter and it’s very much reciprocated, she goes always goes in without looking back. All the creche team are fantastic but particularly Rachel and Louise.

Fantastic experience: Amazing health club which is much more than your usual gym and swim set up. Great for adults and families. Fantastic staff especially Rachael who runs the crèche. Always something new and lively going on!

Fantastic experience: We recently came for weekend to visit friends and family. My friend mentioned meeting at DL as they had a family activity day on. When we arrived the staff on reception were warm and welcoming and spoke to my children as if they had known them for years. The activity day was well set up and organised and my little ones enjoyed the afternoon playing. We also had the pleasure of meeting Rachael and Louise who run crèche, they were happy to show and speak to me about crèche as I was thinking about joining. Both Rachael and Louise are very knowledgeable and have a great understanding of child development and explained how the sessions and activities will aid my children in their development. It’s a great advantage having a creche on site and knowing that Rachael and Louise were passionate about the job made it easier for me to make the decision to join as my children would be welcomed with open arms. Fantastic experience: I moved to David Lloyd bromsgrove at the start of the year and it was one of the best decisions i’ve made. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend doing a Blaze class with Carla or Laura.. they are so fun and energetic

Positive experience: I owe a lot to David Lloyd so my review will always be an overwhelmingly positive one. I started David Lloyd three years ago, and after being a bit of a “clubroom only” member I decided to try what DL actually has to offer after having my third child. So I entered the blaze studio at 6:15am one day for Blaze 45 with the amazing Laura, I was 95kg, weak, unhappy and looking for this love of fitness I saw all around the club. And well, thanks to Blaze, the amazing instructors, the staff that motivated me day in day out and the recent revival of Blaze that Carla has given it - I found just that. So now I’m almost 20kg lighter, happier, stronger, more determined and focussed than ever and none of it would have been possible without the DL team. Rach and Lou who so expertly look after my kids in the crèche so I can workout, Kat, Karen, Jen and the reception team who give me the motivation each time I walk in (cue Jen with the YES JANE) and to the incredible Blaze instructors who are entirely responsible for my mental and physical transformation. Laura , who I see more than most my family members now… who knows when I’m holding back and throws the heavier dumbbells at me, Innocent who pushes me to improve my form and never fails to put a smile on our faces, Alex who will quite literally stand behind you and push you until you hit red and finally Carla who has reinvigorated Blaze since joining the club and bonded us as a blaze family - all while jumping on top of the benches and dancing while we run! There are improvements that can be made like any club, the soft play could do with some TLC as could the clubroom and locker rooms but all of those things are inconsequential when you have the sense of community, like you do at DL Broms. And as a mum of three, the way the other members and staff are with my kids is amazing, the family feel carries throughout the gym and I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone thinking of joining, and I am so grateful to the club for what it’s given me over the past 2 years.

My absolute favourite is Blaze and Carla is an amazing instructor. Pushes you to work harder and get the most out of the session. Can’t recommend the club enough.

Fantastic experience: David Lloyd in Bromsgrove is a way of life for me and my family! We train, socialise, swim and work from the gym 6 days out of 7! The reason being we feel welcomed by the staff, who are always happy to help. Group exercise classes are great and there is a really community feel to the club. We enjoy being able to work and relax in the clubroom and our children have been able to make friends and enjoy the family events.

Fantastic experience: Been a member many years and can’t imagine not being a member! Always a friendly greeting and farewell from the lovely reception team. Best part is outdoor pool open all year - if only we could persuade them to open for a few hours on Xmas day . Thank you DL Bromsgrove Crew

Positive experience: I’ve said it once & I’ll say it again… @davidlloydbromsgrove it’s more than just a gym, it’s a lifestyle ❤️ not only has my fitness, strength & speed hugely improved since joining, I’ve also made some of the best & closest friends at this gym and feel a real sense of community with lots of social events to get involved in. Blaze is a huge asset to this club, purpose built studio for this awesome fitness class, led by the blaze supervisor Carla who goes above and beyond to run fantastic blaze events for the members & baking amazing treats for all - along with the team of blaze instructors who are next level, they push us beyond our limits every time , make it fun & bring the VIBEEEEEEEEE particularly Laura and innocent who are some of the best class instructors I’ve experienced. Along with Phil who delivers ignite & chanelle who teaches yoga that will test your capabilities in a really good way. There’s something for everyone. Although you have to be quick to get a spot in some of the popular classes !! The reception team are 5 star always welcoming members in with a smile and a chat, nothing is too much trouble for them and they make DL feel like a family.

Fantastic experience: An outstanding health and fitness centre, the team working on the bar and in the kitchen are always so professional, courteous and helpful with detailed knowledge of their business area. Would recommend the club to anyone interest in Heath and fitness

The kids love the pool and the tennis etc. But the thing that really sets it apart are the staff. They couldn’t be more helpful. Always greeting you with a smile and happy to help.

Fantastic experience: Here to review specifically the creche - it’s amazing, all the staff are brilliant with the babies and children, they always ask if your little one needs anything before taking them through, and then you’re given a little rundown of what they’ve been up to at creche that day. My little boy even made a Father’s Day card when he was there, which was a really lovely surprise. My son always goes in and comes out with a smile. I feel at complete ease when I drop him off and it’s ideal I can then have an hour or two in the gym or on the tennis courts.

Fantastic experience: Great club, friendly staff, a lovely welcoming from reception. There is a Great family vibe in the club with extra events for the family to do together throughout the year. Lovely to able to have a sports massage or PT sessions within the club too. My son’s development through weekly stars tennis sessions has been great too from a skills point but also a social side of things. He’s loved doing Blaze rebels with me and to use the cardio equipment in the gym with me from the age of 10, though the club does offer fit gym sessions for children aged 10-15 too he didn’t have the confidence to take part in them yet. Thank you Bromsgrove Team for a lovely experience and range of events for all to going in.

Fantastic experience: David lloyd Bromsgrove has some great classes but by far the best is there Zumba Class with Daniel Munn, great choreographed routines to fabulous tunes. Most importantly exercise that is so much fun, but works your entire body and gives the best workout for me . Dance is also proven to be best exercise for your mental health too a win win. Best class decision I ever made. Fabulous.
