Fantastic experience:

Fantastic experience: Good place to exercise plenty of kit and space to do it . I found here they use curl bars for biceps Not too many people in the morning on Saturday. They have a massage gun which you can use after you have done with your exercises. Plenty of storage space for your belongings I always carry with me padlock which I can utilise . Found very friendly lady I called her on phone to find where is the parking and she helped me out unfortunately it has limited space only around 10 bays . But I can park for free before 08:00 and after 18:00 any time on the road next to the entrance of the car park.

Fantastic experience: After a bad patch personally the staff, in particular General Manager Freddie Foreman has been so supportive, helping me now to integrate back into the gym again helping my mental health and well being. Want to join a local gym? This is the one!

Fantastic experience: Always clean, staff super friendly, fun monthly challenges for prizes (even for those who built like a string bean like myself). Can't fault them. Miles better than other 24 hour gyms ive tried locally.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, lots of machines although one or two of them were out of order (but good luck finding a gym that doesn't have that problem). Everything is there, biceps, triceps, abs, back, legs, tons and tons of dumbells for weight lifting, heavy bags, a boxing bag (you will need your own gloves), treadmills, etc etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Unsure if they actually have changing rooms or not, I couldn't find any but that's not a problem for me. They have good showers, and the place looks very clean and well taken care of. Certainly not the cheapest gym out there but it's 24/7 (staffed until 8pm) which is a big plus. For the price you pay you do get free access to all their classes too which all things considered is not a bad deal. The gym isn't huge but when I was there it wasn't massively busy so I didn't have to wait for anything at all. Only downside is that there's only a single boxing bag, in the past there was a heavy bag, an uppercut bag and a speed ball. Now there's only a heavy bag which is a shame as I mainly signed up so I could practise boxing. Hopefully they'll bring in some additional bags in the future! For that reason 4 stars instead of 5. Edit: they've fixed one of the heavy bags so there's two again now. Still no speed ball but I don't miss it. Since they've fixed the equipment pretty fast, I'm giving 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Like most gyms, this is amazing for my mental health. Snap fitness is above the rest for me because I’ve not once found an unhappy member or a difficult member of staff. Everyone is welcoming and approachable. it’s a gym for beginners and knowledgable gym goers. Truly a place to stay social and get fit.

Fantastic experience: I would like to consider myself an avid gym connoisseur and I can confidently recommend this gym to anyone looking to simply stay fit, or put on a bit of muscle - whatever your goal, this gym is for you. I have only been a member since the close of tru gym but what a blessing in disguises, on arrival you will be greeted by the warm smile of Connor who is always working hard to ensure the gym is kept lovely and tidy throughout the day, you won’t need to worry about tripping over any weights in here!!!! Thanks for the facilities guys

Absolutely amazing gym and being able to use all sites around the UK is fantastic aswell, couldn't recommend more.

Fantastic experience: I joined snap Maidstone at the end of last year when I was looking for a new gym. The staff and members are so friendly and helpful and I’ve made some great friends from there. The equipment is all in great condition and as an 18+ gym the other members are always respectful, no big groups of kids hoarding equipment. I couldn’t fault it and couldn’t imagine going to any other gym, my confidence has grown massively and it’s definitely down to the guys at snap. Also the membership allows you global access which is great for me as I use both the Maidstone and ashford gym as well as even using a snap fitness in Barcelona Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Negative experience: Poor management, lack of understanding and if you want to leave contract will persist even if change of circumstances. Snap have recently showed a very poor comprehension of my own change of circumstance and keep trying to take money from my account and have done so despite me advocating that I have moved. Very disappointed to see a company continuously charge even when not using their services. No different to the other money grabbing companies and show a lack of proper rapport with customers.

Fantastic experience: Very clean, fully equipped gym and friendly staff. I have been there for few months then I had to move for personal reasons but in those few months I must admit that snap fitness in maidstone is a top quality and well organised gym. I tried different gyms in the area and certaily snap fitness is the only one in which I will comeback for a training session when I am in the area.

Fantastic experience: An excellent gym where you can work out quietly and have fun in the classes. Box fit, legs pump, hiit, spinnig, all amazing. That is what I was looking for. the staff is very friendly with a great knowledge of fitness.You will always find Freddie givong you tips or help if you need. highly recommended gym

Positive experience: Try to avoid going in rush hour as you may struggle with parking. Decent sized gym in the area. The best part is when you sign up, you can go to any gym in the UK running under umbrella of snapfitness without any extra cost.

Fantastic experience: Close to perfect experience. Clean, well-equipped with shower facilities, lockers and exercise equipment, and staff tend not to bother you that much. Only concern would be the occasional damage to equipment, but that gets sorted out very quickly.

Fantastic experience: Freddie called me after I submitted my details to enquire about membership. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable, answering all my questions about pricing, what was included, personal training sessions, inductions, everything; he was very thorough and patient. I am very skeptical of any sales calls but Freddie was absolutely great and it was an informal chat with absolutely no pressure to join up. Looking forward to singing up and getting started :)

Fantastic experience: I have been to nearly every gym in maidstone. I have found that snap fitness is the best . The staff are friendly and very accommodating, they are always there to help you out , I have never felt uncomfortable working out here and always leave in a great mood . Always a hello and a good bye . This is really an outstanding gym .

Negative experience: Having enquired about pricing and information regarding membership, I have since been pestered almost daily by multiple calls by staff, not only to book in the original induction/walk around which is understandable, but I’ve had at least 4 phone calls this week just to ‘confirm’ my visit. Due to this, I will not be joining. I have since tried to voice my opinion to staff, mainly Daniel, who just hung up on me as he was wondering why I was frustrated. Can obviously see why they’re so hungry for new custom, with idiots like this working for you. Would strongly recommend a shakeup of desk jockeys if you really want customer retention, being that the current lot are quite dull and have been mumbling down the phone to me. Having come from industry leading customer service roles, I believe my opinion should be valued in this instance. Go to ANY other gym. It’s cheaper and they’re staff don’t give a toss about numbers

Negative experience: Tell lies about no fees or contracts.. fraudulently sign contracts on emails that you havnt even opened.. then send to debt collectors saying I owe money for a no cancellation fee gym!!

Fantastic experience: I have to say I have been incredibly impressed with the professionalism and level of care shown by Freddie. It seems like a well run gym, everyone's experience will differ as we all want different things out of a gym. I believe you have everything you need to achieve your goal and the staff are friendly who in turn will help you along the way if you would like. For those that do not wish to interact with anyone, they can do that to so it suits all parties. I would try it for yourself and hopefully you get the same level of care I received.

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym. It's clean, well ventilated, and hygienic. The staff are great and on hand to advise. They do great classes, and as a woman I feel very safe. There are showers, and lockers and it's 24/7. And there's a studio to work out in if you dance or want to stretch out or lift lady weights etc. %!!!

Fantastic experience: Maidstone has a lot of gyms but this is certainly the most friendly and welcoming gym I've been a member of. The gym might not be the biggest but it certainly has enough variety of quality equipment to use for your session. There are great classes on during the week. Parker, Freddie and Emma are all great staff. Freddie is a great PT if you need one!

Negative experience: I usually don’t do reviews but this one I had to because this was morally Wrong. “Finally, got my my membership cancelled” So it starts this way, Out of many work emails, One email finally caught my eyes, it was from snap fitness Maidstone stating that my payment got refused for this month. I called Snap ASAP from work and told them them about the issue and also stressed that I would like to come n PAY THE DUE AMOUNT TODAY and want to freeze my membership for few months(as I was having tests ahead). So I printed out my signed contract that was emailed me on the day when I got registered physically at SNAP (which was about few months back) because I did noticed that the discount that was supposed to be deducted from the monthly fee wasn’t been done. So after work even though dead tired, went exactly on time. Then when I raised the issue about the discount, the gentleman at the reception said I DIDN’T DO THE CONTRACT SO I DON’T KNOW ABOUT IT AND I CANNOT REDUCED THE AMOUNT NOW BECAUSE ITS ALREADY WITHIN YOUR CONTRACT SO YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT (fair enough i could understand that) AND he ALSO said that I DON’t know what document you provided at the time of registration or may have not provided any documents. Now this was quiet funny because firstly, I did provide the required document and secondly, THE MOST FUNNY THING, MY WORK’S EMAIL WITH MY NAME ON IT WAS MENTIONED ON MY SNAP FITNESS’S CONTRACT which was done by the person when I first got registered physically at the gym. Furthermore, when I gave the contract to the person at the reception today to have a look at it but he was like, OH YOU ARE JUST HANDING ME A PIECE OF PAPER AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT SHALL I DO WITH IT (in my mind.. please look at the details on that contract because that piece of paper is a signed CONTRACT between me and SNAP that has all the details on it). At one point that gentleman said you registered 6 months back so why you didn’t let us know before. I was literally dumbfounded because people can have an interest (and you can’t even call it to register.. 6 months back I just showed my interest towards SNAP FITNESS SO GAVE MY DETAILS and i don’t think anyone would send their genuine documents at first when they JUST intend to join the gym) few months or even few years before but the only thing that matters is when they get REGISTERED AND START PAYING THE FEE. I had no words to say so I just requested PLEASE CARRY ON WITH THE TRANSACTION. So the person who made the contract was a bit distracted while doing the contract before I guess. But i felt there was something that was morally not right . Then instead of freezing my account for few months that would cost me £3 a month and no joining fee for £20 later, I decided to pay the full cancellation fee which was around £59.99 which included the due amount as well as a month ahead fee (for notifying 30 days ahead in order to cancel the membership as they say) After all, this is not about money, if I hadn’t cancelled the membership, this would keep haunting until I settle everything and leave ASAP. And people have more important tasks to perform rather than just to focus on unnecessary things. Oh and I did take the final receipt for around £59.99. Shouldn’t even hand 2 star but rest of the staffs I dealt with before were helpful and professional and I genuine believe that other gyms owned by SNAP FITNESS must be under a fine management. Thank you for your service.

Positive experience: A good 24 hours gym, women friendly. The boxing class was definitely worth attending. The lady treated it as a PT session mostly. Used the gym for a few months before moving. They earn you well in advance before increasing charges. Dedicated parking space for members. A good selection of classes. Showers and toilets were almost always clean even during unstaffed hours. Room to improve, - Understaffed during peak times. Its hard to get help as the reception staff (PTs) are always occupied at the desk. -Following the above point, Introductory PT session was poor. Not worth doing if you don't do it well. - Health and safety by the door there is an unmarked slope. Slipped and bumped by face on the glass door. Comical but painful and embarrassing. I'll always remember the cleaning lady coming over and checking if it was her fault and walking away. Haha! - Music too loud. Good speaker system but the music wasnt fit for working out (personal opinion) however it was so loud it drowned out my headphones.
