Fantastic experience: Good gym with lots of equipment

Negative experience: There is not enough space to move inside anymore full of equipments everywhere. Also some personal trainers abuse the machines if they a trainee with them. Even your notice on the wall says “use it don’t abuse it” I think they need to learn it first.

Negative experience: All I can say is the staff today on the hottest day of the year have no excuse to keep the air conditioning on low and only have 2 on it was so hot today it was actually hotter in the gym then outside no excuse for how hot it is in there. People were struggling to stay up and I'm currently going home feeling sick with how hot it was.

Fantastic experience: Friendly gym, mixed ages and abilities so feels relaxed, Dan Grech is friendly and helpful PT, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Clean gym with plenty of equipment so you're hardly ever waiting to use any of the machines or weights. Robyn showed me around the gym when I first joined and I have found her to be incredibly helpful and approachable. Her classes are easy-going and she always makes a point of querying about injuries and adapting the exercises if necessary, which has helped build my confidence in saying "actually, I can't do that" without judgement. Overall an excellent trainer and a real asset to the gym.

Great asset to the staff there, treated with more respect from her than many other staff in there in the past.

Negative experience: Have paid £33.99 for my son to rejoin full membership to find that money has been taken he has been twice and now his account has been put on hold I took direct debit out on the first of this month 01.11.23 so he should still be able to access gym but he can't

Felt very easy to do an arms and pull day without waiting or needing to come back to busy machines. Very clean, friendly community. Felt great to be around many other weightlifters who were women and not male dominated. Would come back to to Thanet just to use this gym.

I have relocated to spain this week so thought I’d leave a review. My new gym is not a patch on the gym Thanet! Staff always super friendly and go out their way to be as helpful as possible I specifically remember Charlie who worked there, he always smiled and helped out a lot. Nothing was every too much trouble for him. Great guy.

The staff/instructors are always friendly, helpful, encouraging, and always teach a great work out class! The gym is always clean, tidy, with a great range of equipment. I genuinely cannot fault them in any way.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for 3 years, and have no plans to change. The equipment is always improving on an already high standard, the atmosphere is perfect and rarely ever have to wait for equipment to be free. Charlie has always been there for advice or guidance if I've ever needed it, or even just for a spot. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dan for roughly two months now and can’t recommend him enough, he is friendly approachable and keeps me motivated not letting me give up, even if I do curse him over and over. I’m getting fitter and have loads of fun and lots laughs along the way. I thought I knew what to expect when I started having known him for nearly a year and taking classes with him. Dan switches it up and varies workouts weekly, customising the approach each week. Dan ensures that I’m doing every exercise correctly and consistently, paying attention to form. He gives advise on eating and understanding calories, I like his approach of not giving me a list of eating restrictions, even if he does tell me to stop drinking beer (mean) . He also got me back off the cigarettes and haven’t been tempted to return. Mainly because he works me so hard I wouldn’t make it through a session . I was with my previous PT for nearly a year but wanted a change and knew Dan was the right fit. After a couple of weeks I saw huge improvements in muscle growth, stamina and overall strength. Week by week I’m increasing weights to levels I didn’t ever expect to go and regularly improve on exercises daily. I am so glad to be working with Dan, know I made the right choice for my fitness goals and I am looking forward to continuing my transformation with him. Keep smashing it out

Fantastic experience: it's cool, loads of equipment, no stress, no one hassles anyone. very busy 4pm to about 7pm after that it's nice and quiet. Very popular with younger people and lots of women which is a good sign.

Negative experience: Terrible manager. Awful gym. Edit to the reply: I tried with the manger, he’s as I said useless. There’s no point to add the email. You know it’s a waste of time. Also, the company never replied. I went high up. There’s no care. No care for autism, harassment and the lazy manager is just a joke.

Positive experience: One of the best equipped gyms I've been to at any price (£25 p/m Jan 2023). However because it's good, cheap and 24hr it's almost unusably busy between 5 and 9 pm.

Negative experience: Been few times but quit now go somewhere local in a town cheaper The Gym Group Thanet seems expensive considering for £23.99 plus £10 joining fee its out the way in the middle of nowhere have to catch a bus or cab to get there as seem a odd place to have a gym miles away from a bus stop just to get there is a workout plus too many D**kheads in there thinking there Popeye...looking like a Uterus... narrr am good thanks ill go somewhere else ..

Positive experience: Since my last review, the gym has been updated with more equipment, more free weights and a much better layout than last time. All round the gym is a good gym, ok prices have gone up, but still a good price for a 24hr gym. One thing it really needs to sort is the lockers....they are useless or just don't work, ok we bring our own lock, but most don't actually shut to lock

Fantastic experience: Nice new clean open location with plenty of equipment showers was clean and the toilet's only one problem as I could see car park isn't so big so I could see when it gets busy might find it hard to get a parking space but overall nice clean gym.

Fantastic experience: Popped with my son using a day pass bought online. Excellent choice and on Saturday when I went it was not too busy either so plenty of machines and weights free. Some people better than others at whipping down with the provides sprays and wipes, but that's a reflection on those people rather than the gym. Felt friendly and and no intimidating gym monsters in there too.
