Lucas showed me around then helped me sign up for the gym. Lucas checked on me through out my first workout to see if I needed any assistance with anything or needed any help with how the machines worked. Would definitely recommend this gym:)

Fantastic experience: Joined about 8 months ago now. Never been to a gym that have tried so hard to get everyone involved. all staff are really helpful. A big standout to me personally recently has been Lucas. One of the PTs. He’s been great at jumping up and helping me how to do the machine properly and giving me extra advice on how to maximise my workouts.

Fantastic experience: Myself and a couple of friends had a trial session at énergie Fitness Cheltenham, in the hopes to find a gym we all like. We had a great session there. The kit is really nice, the staff are super friendly and there was a great atmosphere between the gym-goers and members of staff. We went at peak time and the gym wasn't too busy, which was a bonus as we didn't have to wait much at all to get on the machines.

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried multiple gyms in Cheltenham over the past year or so and none of them felt like home, until I moved to Energie. Every member of staff is so helpful and friendly. Over the past few weeks since I joined Energie my love for the gym is back! Aj’s boxing classes are the perfect start to the morning and Lucas is an absolute diamond and asset to the team- both in classes and outside of classes. He always makes time to help to spot with any lifts and to push you to get a PB or give you tips for better form or how to use equipment. I’d recommend this gym to anyone + everyone!!

Fantastic experience: as a real newbie i was nervous about buying a gym membership but energie is very welcoming. my tour and induction with Lucas were both fantastic. i was able to ask as many questions as i needed and now feel much more confident. Great gym so far, never too busy and staff are super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I moved here from a PureGym and it was the best decision I have ever made. The gym is much more intimate than the usual larger gym which in turn means everyone who works there is always happy to help with your form and to say hello. Also, the classes are really varied and push me (in a good way)

Fantastic experience: Really welcoming community gym with great facilities and equipment and challenging classes. A great timetable of classes to allow for any schedule. I personally work with AJ and Greg the most as I do the classes and they both bring an infectious energy to the early morning classes which is needed when you’re half asleep.

I joined when the gym first opened, have done hundreds of classes of all types over the years and always find the staff and members extremely friendly and helpful. Positive experience: The good: big gym, plenty of types of equipment, staff are friendly, parking is good The Bad: a few regular guys that grunt really loudly and drop big heavy weights on a mezzanine floor, they should swap out the big weight section to the ground floor but they actually have signs up to say no dropping slamming etc so its against their own policy, however it happens and its not much fun to be there next to someone doing it. Ironically, the guys doing that are not exactly really ripped either, just showing off and think they are cool. In the end it made me decide to not stay, these grunters and droppers dominate the free weight section so I just don't want to be there

Fantastic experience: I picked this gym as it wasn’t huge and daunting .. I was still in two minds though as I’m older, very self conscious and gym shy but I needn’t have worried .. my induction was relaxed, friendly and I felt extremely at ease!! Eden was excellent, showed me how to use all the machinery and has drawn up a plan for me … I haven’t felt motivation like this at any other gym !! Very happy !!

It’s never too busy so no problems getting on machines and Ricky(the manager) always comes up to me and says hi when he’s in. Very personal feel to the gym and would recommend anyone to join :)

Negative experience: Predatory terms. Direct debit was attempted once, I credited my account the next day while on travels. No further debit was attempted. 2 days later, without any warning, they demand 20£ in fines. Staff onboarding made no mention of cancellation notice, further increasing costs. Something which reasonably should be mentioned, as no other gym has these policies. I wondered why the gym is empty.

Fantastic experience: Great gym overall. Air-conditioned, good range of equipment, has a spin studio and separate group workout space, staff are very friendly and encourage a community atmosphere, great PTs and there's lots of parking. Could do with another squat rack if I'm picky. Lucas was very helpful in giving me some advice in starting out with lifting

Fantastic experience: I love this gym! It’s the only gym I’ve been too that doesn’t feel intimidating, it’s always clean and such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super friendly (Ricky always welcomes you with a smile) and I highly recommend! I have regular PT sessions with Charlie and they’ve honestly changed my life and improved my mind as well as my fitness and body.

Negative experience: Do not get involved with this gym. Plenty of other better gyms in the area, I could list many I had to leave this gym due to not being able to get to the location. And due to that I’ve had to pay 2 months full membership and furthermore a cancellation fee. Without even understanding the reason for me having to leave. After this they threatened me with debt collecting services Stay away at all costs

Negative experience: I wouldn’t bother getting involved with this gym. So many better options in Cheltenham. This gym constantly pesters people with messages and phone calls which is intrusive and annoying. They also have a ridiculous cancellation fee and threaten you with debt collecting agencies if you don’t pay up. Avoid.

Fantastic experience: Cheltenham’s best kept secret is Charlie Griffin at Energie Fitness, Charlie is always super upbeat, encouraging and supportive to everyone. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. Thank you Charlie and Energie Fitness.

Negative experience: Disappointing treatment of returning members. There are better alternatives for the price, with better customer service.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for a little over 6 months and the staff make it! All Rickie's classes are amazing! and I am also getting PT from Eden who has helped me double my strength in such a short time period and her knowledge and expertise is helping me immensely. :-)

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym a couple of months ago and it’s the first gym I’ve ever been to, so I was really nervous! I’m so glad this is the gym I chose! I was assigned a PT and joined on the Wow plan which included 3 x 121 training sessions, which I found extremely useful for learning the equipment. My PT helped me feel at home, offering lots of good advice and all the staff there are very friendly. It’s normally not that crowded, especially if you go at the weekend / really late, but even at busier times I’ve been able to get to the right equipment. The gym is kept clean, has showers, toilets, lockers and runs classes regularly. I’d definitely recommend giving this gym a try!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this gym for about five months now and I am over the moon with it. All the staff are very friendly and it is never too busy no matter what time you go in. You definitely feel like you’re part of the gym rather than a number on the database. I would highly recommend anyone to have a look.

Fantastic experience: Over 2 floors, a great gym with good equipment, friendly, knowledgeable staff that will happily chat about techniques, methods, etc or just leave you to get on. Also run sporadic challenges that are great if you want that extra motivation. The PTs on site are happy to support your needs. And there are classes if this is your thing. Safe and secure environment with most members easy to get along with. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a gym where you don't want to feel judged or intimidated.

Negative experience: Went to this gym and it was no where near the quality of the fantastic simply gym. The PT Ricky was dancing behind me as I squatting which put me off. Simply gym is a much bigger and better gym than energie fitness with far better equipment I would recommend you do not join energie fitness and join Simply Gym instead.

Fantastic experience: I joined Energie back in August. After my first month, I started with one of their incredible pts and have not looked back. The gym is extremely friendly and cared for by all staff. You honestly feel like you are part of a family there, as you are always welcomed and supported by all. Due to my amazing experience, my husband also joined Energie. The gym is well equipped, offers a wide range of classes and is always clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!

The staff really make this gym, they're always around for a friendly chat, advice on techniques or ideas to help improve your work out. The classes they run are an absolute blast, and I can now say as someone who use to hate classes at my previous gym, I am a convert. If you're looking for a gym, look no further.
