Fantastic experience: For us, a great local gym, every sort of machine you can think of on two levels. Leon and Graham run this gym with pride and passion with really lovely additional staff who help to keep the gym clean and tidy and running smoothly. The reception is fully operational for protein shakes, macro counted prepared meals for takeaway, a full range of protein powders and pills and potions. There’s even a sun shower for use at a very reasonable price. Only downside is sometimes the changing rooms get full up with sports bags and clothes, leaving no where to change. Some of this is down to inconsiderate people. This is at no fault of the owners as lockers are supplied to use. I just shove them up to make room. This seems to be an issue at most gyms and generally at peak times 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Nothing puts us off and I think we have become part of the woodwork now. Bring your own bottle of water as tap water or water stations are not available unless you buy bottled water from reception. At the moment your first visit is free to experience this quality gym. All equipment gets refurbished regularly if worn, the owners regularly upgrade their equipment and also introduce different machines.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym for East Sussex! Spent a lot of time at this gym and always pleased no matter what. The team is always helpful and friendly, Always clean and tidy. If you are looking for the best gym in East Sussex this is the one for you! From a variety of different machines and Weights available for your use. Fairly Priced and definitely worth a try!

Fantastic experience: I'm someone with autoimmune disorders and am legally blind, I once was very fit and over the years of poor health and then nearly 2 years of isolation I'm super out of shape, wanted to get back into a healthy routine when I can (depending on heath) and I tried (went to look at) the other local gyms which were super expensive and filled with lots of things that are basically for show without a lot of substance in my opinion. When I showed up at GL they were super helpful very friendly and made sure I was 100% comfortable. They also have that feel of a real gym for people who want to workout not there to just socially be somewhere, I think the equipment is great with a good mix for those trying to gain and those trying to lean up. I found the staff helpful and the place very clean. Would recommend to especially to those who are on the fence, it's a no drama gym in my opinion ⭐

Fantastic experience: Great range if equipment for power lifting, weight lifting, body building as well as cardio equipment and separate room with punch bags. Nice car park nice changing rooms and nice people

Positive experience: For me the lack of water fountain is what makes it a 7 out of 10. No way to fill up water bottles so your forced to buy ! Equipment and layout is perfect . Reasonable price and good parking . Not a fan of the name and shame if you forget your card !

Fantastic experience: Been going to these guys for the past 2 Years now and there are the best gym around without a doubt! The price for a membership is reasonable for what you get. The weights and equipment are top notch and are always reviewed so they rarely ever break. On top of this they always add equipment into the gym which you can use for diffenent variations for you workout. Not only this but the staff are very friendly and welcoming and will deal with any queries/issues you are having. Bearing in mind these guys would had a very tough time during covid and when they re-opened on the few occasions they had too they made sure the facility was Covid secure and they still have to this day. Highly Reccomend.

Fantastic experience: I always love going to GLFitness, Hailsham. Leon, Graham and the staff are friendly and always on hand to help. The facility is always clean and a great selection of high end equipment being an approved Hammer Strength training centre, this along with great music selection, how could you go wrong! The way they have dealt with the current situation has been excellent, with freezing memberships, regular communication, spaced out equipment, cleaning stations for equipment and plenty of hand sanitizer available. During the lock down they have yet again invested a huge amount of money in not just new equipment, but a complete decoration overhaul, making it feel clean and fresh. Amazing well stocked shop which caters for all requirements, from a quick pre workout, to the more serious muscle gainers. I’ve tried many other main stream corporate gyms in the past, but so glad I’ve finally found somewhere that blasts the competition out of the water, passionate owners who know how to run a gym! I would highly recommend this gym to everyone (and have over the past three years!) Mat Crossland Hailsham

Fantastic experience: great gym, full of new equipment

Fantastic experience: I do have kudos on how amazing the gym centre's idea of bringing the first marvelous impression to visitors/clients which is really important - The hunk reception is very eye-catching!!! And also a glamorous staircase leading clients with needs up to the treatment hole(cave?) inside gym centre, which is thoughtful and adventurous. The entire venue is lavish, reigned whoever entering there a VIP. I always enjoy and find amusing visiting there by whatever position.

Negative experience: Gym is ok not overly friendly however they make it impossible to cancel contracts and even when you find errors in the contract they still don't let you cancel when they made the error. Now had to pay a high cancellation fee when they had errors in the contract. Not happy and never going back. AVOID!

Positive experience: Good gym hard to get out of contract but other then that the equipment is pretty good

Positive experience: A very good gym just got a whole lot better! It’s been enlarged and transformed with the addition of a lot of new machines – more than you’ll ever need. Great gym, friendly staff and never too busy. It’s got to be the best – and best value – gym for miles around.

Fantastic experience: Really good fully equipped gym. Great machines and very helpful staff who want you to feel comfortable. When I started, I stuck to the upstairs cardio machines. As the months went on, the staff suggested an induction to the weights down stairs. I explained that I felt uncomfortable as the body builders and people who were more athletic than me are down stairs and they put my mind at ease. They even wrote me a workout plan as I didn't know what to do! and it's going great. I have lost the weight i wanted to and I'm now focusing on toning up. Very pleased with the results I'm achieving thanks to a great gym. They also sell foods and protein powders and have a sunbed

Fantastic experience: Outstanding little gym you can tell the owners really put their heart and soul into this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the gym is impeccably clean. Unfortunately I live in London and only get to train here when visiting family but if it was local I would not hesitate to take out a full year membership. Great stuff look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic experience: This really is a first class gym. Well equipped with approximately sixty stations of modern, state of the art Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment for all aspects of exercise and weight training over two floors. They also offer studio space and classes such as Kieser spinning and various Aerobic classes. The reception area offers a cafe lounge with a supplement shop and shake blends bar, and they also stock a range of high quality tailor made nutrition meals. There is even a stand up Sun Shower. Sports massages are available at an additional cost and are very competitively priced. You really get a 'bang for your buck' at this gym, the membership fees are more than reasonable. And all this is topped off with really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who take an interest in what you are doing, they are always on hand to offer help and advice.
