Fantastic experience: Nice and well maintained gym with separate boxing arena like to work out here as it is 24 Hours open gym.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere with an excellent mix of pin and plate loaded equipment and free weights along with functional training area boxing ring and bags upstairs and cardio equipment. What more could you ask for especially when they also have a seating area and drinks available for after your session. Staff also friendly and now 24hr opening

Positive experience: Quite old equipment, but there is a decent range of machines and free weights for a small gym. In need of a make over and the changing rooms/toilets badly need refurbishing.

Fantastic experience: I joined because of the facilities; I stayed because of the people! Zest Gym is by far the best facility around. From the ownership to the trainers to the staff, they are by far the most likeable bunch in the business. The gym provides free weights, machines, a boxing ring and & punchbag area, a good variety of cardio equipment, a mat area and a training rig - something for everyone. Furthermore, various fitness classes are available throughout the week, with many held in one of the studios, while in the other studio, there are spinning bikes. If you have time at the end of your workout, there is also an area to chill out while having something to eat and drink. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Zest to anyone. I am in my second year as a member here and have been extremely satisfied with everything provided.

Fantastic experience: What sets this gym apart from any other is the staff. I've never been to a more friendly and helpfully staffed gym. I never know what to do but they are always on hand to ask questions and help out with new exercises/advice. The gym has got all the equipment and space you could ever need plus it's own boxing ring, a giant climbing frame (rig), lockers/showers/changing rooms and is very clean and tidy.

The changing rooms need better ventilation. The rest of the facility is very clean and tidy, good working culture and excellent customer service.

Fantastic experience: I moved to near Sudbury from Essex a year ago and have been a member of every gym there is in the area but always ended up going back to Harpers Leisure Centre in Great Dunmow where I had been a member for many years and a place which I very much enjoyed working out in. I just couldn't find a place where I felt comfortable. What I wanted as someone being overweight was a place where I could feel comfortable and know that I would be treated as an equal. I am also claustrophobic so a big and spacious gym was a major factor for consideration. The Zest provided me all this and much more. It is by far the biggest gym in the area which also benefits from air conditioned ventilation. It is always cool even when full. The staff are all friendly and always take the time to ask you how you are and even check up on your progress when they are not working. Being a local businessman with an SME (Melford Valley Indian restaurant) I rely on local trade, the staff at the Zest (Matt Gudge) have made a menu which is healthy and can help you lose weight. The are many perks to being a member of this gym including activity days (Thank you Amy Smith) where they organise events such as paintballing for their members and various nights out. The gym or shall I say fitness centre offers a chill out lounge with a large plasma telivision, ps3 and is a place which comfortably seats around thirty people so theres a place to chill out should you need to before or after a workout. Another reason why I love this place is beacuse there are other businesses that are within Zest such as Diamind Health and Beauty where Gemma Arbon can offer beauty treatments as well as massages. There is also a place to get your hair cut! Sarah does a wonderful job and I can now never see my self going elsewhere. Even if you suffer from aches and pains Carolyn Newman can offer laser treatment and acupuncture. I could write forever but it wouldnt be fair to you unless you were to go and see it for yourself! Regardless of the perks, the friendly staff and all the other benefits the gym offers, the members of the gym are all polite and always smile and make the effort to hold a small conversation.
