Negative experience: There's now too many people sat on machines for a long time using phones rather than the equipment. Staff need to pay more attention and speak to them

Negative experience: They send notifications that they are closed very late. Sometimes you drive there and they are closed.

Positive experience: Decent gym with a very mixed and varied range of people of all ages and fitness levels so you never feel uncomfortable. They offer a free induction too, which is great for beginners... Off peak, it's never too busy either.

Positive experience: Classes are good, but today I booked it , drove 5 miles to do it, and manager just said it was a mistake and cancelled it instead of covering class.Not really customer focussed..So classes can be hit and miss. Men's Showers; tepid and low pressure so you struggle to get whole body wet and have to squeeze in against wall! . Spoke multiple times to management over it. Nothing done...so had enough and posting it here now. Don't think they are bothered about listening to customers. I will edit this if the manager gets in touch to tell me showers will be improved but won't hold my breath.

Negative experience: Terrible locked the locker room and I couldn’t get in had to sit around for 2 hours beyond stupid

Positive experience: Equipment is a bit old and the lockers in the changing rooms are tiny so not sure how I'd manage if I brought my big bag to have a shower and change afterwards. Overall it isn't bad and there's enough equipment but can't really feel the air con so could be better.

Fantastic experience: I am a memember since I loved to UK always loving it here and the one in the city

Negative experience: Don't bother when you get a monthly subscription they charge you for 3 months at a time and refuse to accept that they have broken there contract to pay monthly and didn't give us out money back

Negative experience: Disappointing to see that the anti bacterial spray and paper towels have now disappeared, how do you expect people to wipe down the equipment? Really off putting. Everyone knows that a gym is a breading ground for bacteria, please get this sorted, it's a health hazard. And before you say you have a robust cleaning regime in place, I have never once seen a cleaner wipe down the equipment. What I do see, is people walking off from a piece of equipment and leaving their pool of sweat behind. Vile

Positive experience: Very cold , wont let you heat up and sweat and bad if you have injuries

Positive experience: Treadmills are not looked after. Half of them are not level and move a lot when running and the speedometer is different in some of them.

Positive experience: An easy to find gym in Lime Square in Openshaw 's shopping centre. There do seem to a few different shos here including a FarmFoods and Morrisons supermarket as well as a Range store as well as a few discount shops and opticians etc.

Negative experience: i have member of this gym last 5 years it’s ridiculous behaviour of manager block my entry in the gym by saying i left think in floor i ask him show me proof or show me cctv camera he does not want to show me it mean if someone done wrong they blaming on me i think i have to bring my cctv camera and put on my head so that i have show him that i have not done something wrong and they not have value of the customer.they wasted my 5 days workout who will be the responsible for that are you pay me back of my 5 days money back.today afternoon i went to gym speaking about my problem but he doesn’t want to listen and saying if some dont like this gym they can go to pure gym it’s disrespectful.

Positive experience: Used to be a great place to exercise and do classes. Staff are lovely the facilities are lacking a lot of the equipment are broken and the classes have been reduced down again to 1/2classes in the evening

Positive experience: One of the biggest and most crowd gym from this brand I ever seen. Free car parking, and a massive one. All and all, 4/5 stars because I am from another gym, and could use in here when visiting town. Good stuff.

Negative experience: I have been a member at this gym for over 4 years and it seems to be getting worse rather than better. The equipment is well over its best before end date. The changing rooms and showers are constantly not up to standard. The lockers are mostly all broke and struggle to gat one that you can actually put you lock on. The staff are generally unfriendly apart from 1 or 2 of the PT’s they never say hello. The only PT who was actually very friendly and always gave advice was Mahlon but is no longer at the gym . The gym is close to my home and that’s why I use it otherwise I would go elsewhere.

His knowledge clearly goes back years. Credit to the team and the fitness industry!

Fantastic experience: The Gym Group Openshaw is by far the best Gym I've ever been too. I used to go to this Gym in 2015/16 but then moved to chadderton. I have since tried the other Gym Groups around the area but have never felt comfortable so I now make the journey daily from chadderton to Openshaw. The staff are brilliant, very friendly, helpful and always make me feel welcome. I don't feel afraid to ask for help.
