Fantastic experience: Great club.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful club. Visiting from the US, we were able to get our first experience playing on grass at Surbiton. Tennis was followed by a lovely catered dinner. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Whippy cones are the best!

Positive experience: I believe it depends on how you use this gym, if it’s for racket, tennis etc then it’s a great gym. But if you want to use the machines and weights and the fitness gym like me, it’s a very outdated gym with many useless machines and a very small space. I recommend to the board to have a full re-design of the gym (and even have an expansion) and replace a few machines with new and more relevant ones. Although unfortunately there is no other gyms nearby therefore the options are very limited here.

Positive experience: Very money oriented club! I will relocate to another country but I cannot cancel my subscription because it’s annual! All clubs where I have been before had this clause on the contract. My mistake that I was so happy to join that I didn’t read the conditions. Also very bad management of padel courts. I would avoid this club if possible ***update*** I received the refund for the membership the following week. - this was sorted.. but not the one on the cafe account.. so I add two more stars. I still suggest to review the padel booking system..

Fantastic experience: This club is an open and accepting place. Stage 1 group classes are meant for people with no tennis experience at all. If you keep it up, you will see yourself progress, which is a great feeling. The coaches are really nice, especially Nick Gray. Lara Davis, who manages the group classes and the bookings is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. A great club overall. Sometimes you get to play on grass which feels fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Cosy and friendly feeling. This iconic yes it is the tradition of tennis going back as far as 1920s. Many tennis champions have played here. Only criticism is me being a foodie is the kitchen closes at 17.45 on a Sunday.

Fantastic experience: A nice chilled place to play tennis, padel, squash or go to the gym. There's also a restaurant/bar on the premises. Generally nice place to socialise and play sports.

Fantastic experience: An ATP Tour venue with grass courts to match. Offers good tennis courses for children, among other things.

Fantastic experience: They do kids lessons throughout the week during term times. They also do adults lessons. New racket ball courts. You can book tennis/squash courts and have the option to become a member. You can buy tennis equipment here too. Friendly and welcoming place. S There is a bar and they serve hot food too which is very decent. Toilets are generally clean. Changing facilities and gym also available. Street parking is free. You can lock your bikes here too. WiFi available too.

Fantastic experience: Nice outside space

Positive experience: Not enough courts, too expensive, why do they charge for booking courts at night when we already pay over £50 a month? Floodlights dont cost that much guys. Absurd pricing for dome tennis. Gym is small and under equipped. Letting the kids from the school walk through at closing time is unacceptable, as is letting the running club commune there. Overall there are many bad things about this club and few good things, but we have no other choice do we.

Positive experience: Great location and atmosphere. Shame the venue is slightly dated and the main building could do with some modernization that in turn I think would increase spend!! Overall a good place.

Fantastic experience: Warm and welcoming sports club with a well tended bar and a pretty good bacon roll! The squash courts were in good condition with spacious balconies for viewing. We found a roadside parking space with ease but perhaps when the club is busy this could be tricky?

Fantastic experience: Great Facility. You can come down to do a 5 hour hardcore gym session or just come down to have a few drinks with your mates. 4 squash courts in great conditions. 3 clay tennis courts. 5 hard courts. 2 Padel Courts. And in the summer many grass courts to socialise on. Great squash and tennis coaches. Mangers are very friendly, and the bartenders are good. Gym has lots of options. There is an LTA tennis tournament most years, which is very fun to watch… it’s my second home!

Positive experience: The highlight of the year is the Surbiton Trophy, lots of good players and big stars looking to get prepared for Wimbledon and the grass season at this great event a couple of weeks before Queens. The event is well run and there's a nice atmosphere, especially in the evening when there's lots of doubles playing. The fans get to be really close to the action. For the rest of the season it's a normal tennis club with grass, clay and hard courts, although the hard courts could probably do with getting replaced asap.

Fantastic experience: I visited here twice to watch the tennis tournament being held there. I chose to go at twighlight, which was cheaper than a full day. My goodness what fantastic games were played while I was there. All the staff were proffessional, warm and friendly. I had a meal and a drink whilst I was there. The staff were pleasant, the cafe was clean and tidy. The range of food was great. I sat in their outside patio area, again the area was clean and tidy. I parked a few streets away from the tennis club as it is a residential area. The courts and area's were very well maintained.

Fantastic experience: We went to the Surbiton Trophy 2018 qualifying and it was immense. Beautiful court and great atmosphere. Makes me want to learn to play.

Fantastic experience: Great sports club with 2 floors for gym & regular studio classes. 4 squash courts with viewing balcony kept in great conditions as well as multiple hard/clay/grass and indoor tennis courts. Both sports have competitive leagues/ladders. Highly recommend.
