Negative experience: Probably best they don't lie on their website or treat people like they're stupid, then they wouldn't get poor reviews pointing out just how ridiculous they are, or have an Advertising Standards Agency complaint lodged about their misleading memberships, which they no longer offer. Emailed to ask if I needed to make an appointment to join, was told: "The leisure centre is currently at full capacity, so we are operating a waiting list. We do, however, offer guest pass options that allow you to use our facilities straight away. These do not have to be booked in advance, and they are as follows: ... • Day guest pass £15 - use of all facilities for the day. • Day guest pass £11 - access to either poolside (sauna, steam, whirlpool, and pool) OR gym for the day. • Pool & Gym pass card £100 - 10 separate sessions for use of the gym and pool/spa facilities. • Pool OR gym pass card £70 - 10 separate sessions for use of the pool/spa OR gym facilities." Sorry but I'm English and understand how the language works, I also have an IQ greater than stale mashed potato so would like to ask: if you're at full capacity, how can you fit anyone else in? YOU CAN'T. Full capacity = no room. Room to fit me in for = not at full capacity. Anyone else smelling that? This stupid contradiction and such poor understanding of our language offends me. Legally, to offer memberships on the website that are not available, well, that's a different kettle of fish altogether and something which is no longer in my hands as I'm lodging a formal complaint with the ASA. £50 a month, sound no worries, if I go once a week it's £12.50 per visit, twice, £6.25, versus £100 for ten trips to the pool and gym, a tenner a visit. Their greed makes it a false economy for people. These guys don't do 'memberships' despite still advertising it on their website, which is unethical, immoral and dishonest: they'd rather charge you more by having you buy 10 sessions for a hundred quid. They should have refrained from insulting my intelligence. Quick hint for you, Burleigh: don't advertise stuff on the website that you refuse to honour, and also maybe refrain from treating people like they're thick. You insulted the wrong person. Enjoy the fallout and scrutiny from third parties over your misleading claims!

Fantastic experience: I have been having a massage with Jade regularly and she is fantastic! Not only is she sorting out my aching muscles, but she is friendly, funny and also lets you relax in quiet when you need to. The care and commitment of the general staff at Burleigh Springs is really excellent, and very personable. Reice is great at sorting out your training program and always so helpful.

Fantastic experience: My wife, Lisa, had a pedicure with Jade and loved it. Jade was very professional, really friendly and made the experience a delight for her. We were all warmly welcomed by Reece at the spa reception and looked after famously. Great team. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure to be at burleigh springs . The facilities are very nice neat and to the point . One thing i noticed this time is that the gym had a damp mouldy smell to it . Maybe it's time to change the carpet or have some fresh air

Positive experience: Really nice pool, however, there’s no hot tub which is a big shame. The mini tub shares the same cold water as the swimming pool. I would still visit again though as I enjoyed their jet shower and sauna / steam rooms.

Fantastic experience: I had a facial with Judy, it was absolutely beautiful so calming and relaxing in fact the best I’ve ever had~the products used were perfect for my skin type! For this reason I booked a hot stone massage which was equally as good~my therapist Jade~she made me feel so totally relaxed I actually nodded off~ totally amazing! The receptionist was also extremely courteous, helpful and friendly highly recommend~already looking forward my next visit~well done Burleigh Springs~thank you

Fantastic experience: Working at home on my PC during the COVID lockdown and not having a suitable seating arrangement led to a creaky back. I booked in at Burleigh Springs for a back massage to see if it would help and it worked wonders. It was painful at times as the therapist worked their way through some of the knots and tension but by the end of the treatment I was nearly asleep. 24 hours later and it feels like a huge improvement. My intention is to make this treatment a regular thing so that I can avoid any future issues. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful and friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and great therapists. Seen both Amy and Kelsie here and they have been a big help with all my problems. I see Kelsie at least once a week and have done for months - she’s amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. She listens, pays attention to my needs and tailors my treatments accordingly. She has helped with my neck, back and muscular problems, skin issues and recommended after treatment care too. I refuse to go anywhere else for treatments in Loughborough!

Fantastic experience: Love this place it's like a hidden gem. The facilities are amazing....the spa itself is lovely but the gym could do with making a bit bigger as it's quite small. And the hotel here is nice too, I stayed in a suite here and it was very nice, not anything upscale....but nice and staff seemed nice too. But the leisure facilities....loved it.

Fantastic experience: My local club, where I swim and gym. The pool is fantastic especially if you aren't so confident in the water or like to walk/run in the pool; because it is all one-height, it is also warm. Also, at 15m long, if you are learning to swim it isn't overly intimidating but long enough to make for a worthwhile swim when you are confident. Finally, the pool is open all the time the gym is so you can finish you gym then hit the pool at any time. The gym is perfectly functional for most people, perhaps not if you're going to the Olympics but for 95% of people it'll be more than adequate. Showers comfortable. The sauna, steam room and spa pool are all very enjoyable. Good staff, very friendly locals. Not cheap, but fantastic value for money. I wouldn't consider going elsewhere in Loughborough.

Negative experience: Awful customer service, complained about a treatment, showed them a picture of my skin from the reaction and they claimed that the therapist had done nothing wrong and that they weren't prepared to do anything else about it.

Negative experience: Really mean employee, I have been here for 5 times and introduced some friends here. But today when I want to join the membership that man just being not so nice. Did your manager know that how you treat customers？ pls stop being so mean to students. I will tell all my friends stopping coming here for spa or sth, coz the leisure centre on town is much friendly and have some nice receptionists！

Positive experience: Not a bad little gym, on the plus side, staff a pretty friendly not hugely attentive but pretty friendly, membership fees are clear and there not trying to rip you off with extras, or cancellation fees, as it's a small gym it has a friendly atmosphere and is good value for money, Down side sometimes it can get busy and you may have to wait to use equipment, the pool itself is quite small and more than three people in it and you'll be tripping over each other, the worst aspect of this is the temperature in the pool it can vary dramatically one day it's quite nice the next it's unpleasantly cold, the staff will insist that the temperature remains the same all the time but it doesn't, nearly everybody complains about that. also if I'm being picky they could do with keeping the maintenance up a little better hooks missing lockers with no looks on the doors. BUT all in all not bad.
