Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym. I’d been going to the JD Gym on the other side of Darlington for a few years; but it was always very busy and didn’t feel like the right atmosphere for me. I took a chance at Snap and haven’t looked back. The gym has a really chilled vibe; often with a small group of mixed abilities in. I feel really comfortable there, which means I feel more confident in pushing myself further. I love going here!

Positive experience: I was working for a few months in the Darlington area and needed somewhere to work out and I decided on Snap after paying a visit. My decision paid off because the gym turned out perfect for what I wanted and needed in my fitness regime. Great equipment in good condition and planty of it. The gym is not over busy, even at peak periods and the amount of work stations and equipment means that you are never left waiting to get to your next exercise. I will be visiting the area for periods in the future with my job and will definitely sign up for a monthly membership again which is fairly priced and ideal for my circumstances.

Fantastic experience: I enjoy going to this gym, it’s friendly and it’s not normally too busy to it’s not too difficult to get onto a machine, and nice atmosphere. However I would like to recommend purchasing a safety squat bar for the squat rack because I can’t do squats with a straight barbell because of wrist injury, thank you.

Fantastic experience: Came for a one off session and was extremely impressed by this gym. Plenty equipment and never once struggled to get on a machine. The place had a very friendly feel to it also. Couldn’t recommend this enough to anyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this gym for a while now and it has to be one of the cosiest and most welcoming gyms I had the chance to visit. The staff is always happy to help you and the facilities are well taken care of. There also are personal training sessions, as well as group classes for everyone to try out. Fantastic experience: I have been training in the gym for 6 months now, and it is great experience, it's clean and all the equipment is organised, it has everything you need for a proper workout. There are also group classes which I like to join whenever I can, like strengthening and conditioning and even yoga. The staff is super friendly and helpfull, the manager of the gym keeps all the euqipment in great shape and is always ready to gather some feedback from the clients. I recommend joining the gym, there are lovely people there and is like a community, I am always having fun after a tough day at work.

Fantastic experience: Last week a kS4 student at our school came down to start his personal exercise and fitness course. After his first session he wanted to come back the next day such a massive step of progress to see him come out of his shell and be so confident. So much so he went again today and pushed himself which was amazing to see. This is a brilliant facility staff are brilliant. Our student made comment today coming out and said “it was nice when that member of staff came over to us to see how we were getting on.
This is fantastic news and a real time proof of how sports and exercise fosters self esteem and confidence, especially in younger generation. As an industry we see ourselves as a public health provider, not solely a gym and leisure operator. Exercise is proven to prevent mental health conditions or improve the course of existing, not to mention prevention of chronic, non-communicable diseases, prevalent in todays sedentary society. Fantastic experience: I have tried other gyms but none have been as friendly and welcoming. I joined in 2019 not confident at all and did not think it would last but still loving it and have now started classes to go a long with the PT sessions and am really feeling the benefits. Fantastic experience: Ideal if you live within a reasonable distance. Always plenty of car parking spaces. Never overly busy. Other members friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Plenty of decent equipment for all levels of expertise. Decent individual showers/changing facilities. Staff helpful. Flexible to you as open 24/7 and it is bigger inside than appears outside. My only issue and this is personal to me because i have had multiple knee/lower back injuries, is that i wish it had more modern epilators instead of current cross trainers which are a little too rigid for me.

Fantastic experience: I joined in January and wish I’d joined sooner. The gym’s well equipped, it’s clean, classes are good / varied, staff are friendly and it’s open 24/7 so there’s no time constraints. The gym promotes the use of MyZone chest straps which track your exercise via a free app. This has been really useful for keeping me motivated and I’d highly recommend buying / using one. I’ve been having personal training (PT) sessions with Bradley. These have made a significant difference to what I’ve achieved versus me training myself. I’m doing strength and conditioning training I wouldn’t ordinarily do and am really enjoying it. Bradley’s extremely knowledgable and I’ve learnt / achieved a lot in a short amount of time working with him. I appreciate PT sessions are an additional cost but I’d highly reccomend you give them a try. Overall, my experience at Snap has been faultless to date and you should get involved!!

Positive experience: Ideal to fit around life style being 24 hour gym, clean and tidy and not to busy where your struggling to use machines. However it is a small gym, which limits its room for much needed machines and its also more expensive than other gyms in the area. But overall its a good gym and I would recommend it.

Positive experience: Seemed good, new equipment and very clean. However, they have an advertisement board that says "£3.99 per week" sounds good right? (£16 a month) BUT... This is the case. It's actually £21 per month, when I asked how and explained the maths I was told that's just how it is!! Quite disappointed to tell the truth.
Positive experience: Friendly helpful staff. Not always staffed but it is open 24/7, so I wouldn't expect it to be staffed all the time. Free classes for members. Definitely recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for about a year now and I am really happy I discovered this gym. Since I work night shifts this place is perfect with it being 24hr to members only. I rarely see the staff because of my visit times but when I do they are always super friendly and professional, if ever I need them I usually just drop them a message through the clubs Facebook page and they get back to me. The area is always clean when I visit and the equipment is very up to date. No rusting dumbbells or bars here! One of my favourite things about this gym are the private enclosed showers, they give you enough room and privacy to chill out and scrub down after a heavy workout. My only negative point is that the gym does not offer a punchbag however I understand the reason why as the club is located underneath a Travelodge Hotel. I'm sure the guests above won't want to here me beating the hell out of a punchbag at 2AM in the morning. Overall this is the best gym I have ever been to and it has helped me lose 3 stone so far.
