Positive experience: I feel like the standard on the bar area is going down , as I ordered a milkshake it’s taking 20 min or longer just for one milkshake. Honestly I feel like why did I have to order . Disappointed I walked there a poor guy is there by himself , lack of staff

Fantastic experience: I retired in July and after a busy summer travelling decided that I now need some structure to my days. After speaking with Katy Andrews and meeting her for a coffee in the Club Room in August I was impressed by what was on offer. Yesterday and as I was passing I called in on the off chance with my husband to see if he could have a look around too. We were offered a coffee whilst we waited for someone to be free to see us which was lovely. After a little while Kyle came round to join us. What a pleasant young man he is. He took us on a tour of all the facilities, listened to what we want from Membership and told us all that DL has to offer. We clocked that all the staff are very friendly and we also noticed how clean and tidy everything is. We’ve both signed up for Premier Membership including the spa. Today I’ve been in and completed my first Aqua class and hubby has been for a swim. We’ve then met with Kyle again who has run through the App with us - how great is that, so easy to use! - clarified some questions we had about classes, lockers, spa access and Guest Membership. He remembered snippets of conversation from yesterday which was impressive given the number the of people he saw yesterday. Neither of us have used gym facilities before other than on holiday so we are both very excited to sign up to classes and sports we’ve never tried before whilst at the same time hopefully improving our overall fitness and wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: Joining David Lloyd We signed up for a tour at David Lloyd Bicester and was welcomed by Henry who was a member of staff there who took us round and explained all it had to offer. He was very informative and made us feel right at home looking round. There is a lot to do there, something for everybody and it’s all in 2/3 packages that you can choose to suit your needs. We are now members and looking forward to going there regularly

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here now for 5 months, all of the facilities are 5 star. The gym is great, as is my PT Caitlin, who motivates each week to improve my fitness. Not sure why people complain about the club room and staff, I always find them friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had a tour around with Ryan. Ryan was an excellent tour guide and explained everything clearly Ryan was motivated and this had a positive effect on my decision to join there and then. Great gym and Ryan is a great asset.

Fantastic experience: Club is extremely clean, friendly and modern, extremely pleasant staff. Was an absolute pleasure to be shown around by Ryan, he answered all my queries in depth and was extremely accommodating throughout the entire induction.

Negative experience: The sales team are absolute liars!!!! Told me my three kids could join up for a few months until the end of my contract, when I went to cancel they then told me they’re locked in to a one year contract each!!! The memberships are really oversold making it impossible to get on some classes or get around the outdoor pool in summer. I’d say the local pure gym has better gym equipment and I’d 1/4 of the price!

Negative experience: I wait 1 hour for a burger and chips in the end I had could burger old and cold chips normally the food and the service use to be good .... You really need improve the service ... This doesn't represent the service what costumers are paying for...

Pilates is great, and full body work is so good Eloise is amazing. And was so friendly on my first session 2 weeks back. Every-time I see any staff members they always smile and are happy to help.

Negative experience: I have been a member for a year in this club. coaches are great and tennis coaches especially. Girls at the bar are welcoming, but some of them, also some security guards at the pool are rude and make you feel like a criminal all the time, especially unhappy stuff, who can not jeep their bodies in shape do not hide their hatrede towards skinny fit people. It makes your whole stay and experience in the club AWFUL AND Terrible! NOT going to continue my membership here, you are paying money and feeling like a criminal- NOT MY VIBe. WORK on your Customer Services, David Lloyd Bicester owners.

Negative experience: Its a great shame because Bicester David Lloyds is one of the nicer clubs that I would say is worth the price. However, the customer service and communication on the other hand has continuously disappointed me. wait until your circumstances change and you wish to change your membership then good luck! prepare to spend numerous hours of your wasted time trying to get through to their useless employees who only know how to relay pointless information to you and will not be of any use. Its a shame as I have introduced many people to David Lloyds and would absolutely not consider recommending this gym to people in the future. More than happy to take as much of your money as they can, but don't expect any decent level of customer service with this!!!!

Fantastic experience: Signed up to David Lloyd with Ryan who was full of knowledge for short time being at David Lloyd Bicester. He listen to our needs! Great facilities and not just a place to workout but also a wellness centre to relax.

Negative experience: Just queued 20 minutes to get a drink ,Just to the told by the staff that you can't order with anything other than on the app which isn't working . The drinks being in the fidge 1 metre behind massively frustrating, ( apparently the app was turned off) but the system is so slow they are doomed to failure. Opening 2 bottles ,when I went back 40 minutes later takes them 7 times as long a it might I'm any other bar maybe lack of training/equipment.

It’s ticked all boxes for me & has everything available I could possibly want access to - the standards of the facility have been maintained since day 1 which makes a huge difference! I’m typically an early trainer, as hard as it can be getting up early in the morning, you’re always greeted with a smile & friendly face on reception, which makes the environment super welcoming! Katy Andrew’s & Matt Moss are excellent with this! The gym is very well equipped & the staff are very helpful with accommodating to your needs or any extra requirements they’re open to listen to. Steve Carvey, Jenny Alexander, Nick Marshall, Natasha Chamberlain are some names amongst the team that go above & beyond. The whole vibe of the club is very supporting & has a really nice atmosphere to be around. The team are smiley & want to make each visit worth while. Alex Black & Adrian are always of assistance if needed which is very appreciated. Thank you David Lloyd Bicester for bringing such a great space & facility to the community.
