Positive experience: £219 per month £150 joining fee £129 per month for adding your partner. I spend so much time trying to find this info I thought it would be useful to others.

Negative experience: David Lloyd Fulham has recently made a disappointing change by stopping Platinum members from other clubs from accessing their facilities unless they either upgrade to the current highest-priced Diamond membership tier or have Fulham as their home club. This decision feels both unfair and frustrating, esp as members sign a 12 month contract under the expectation that their membership provided access across multiple locations within their tier or lower. One of the biggest concerns with this change is the lack of transparency. When joining David Lloyd, members are often drawn to the idea of being part of a network of clubs that they can access wherever convenient depending on their tier. This flexibility is a key selling point of the membership, especially given the significant cost difference compared to competitive gym. But, changes like these, introduced as and when throughout a contract without clear communication upfront, leave members feeling misled and undervalued. What makes this worse is the additional push to upgrade to a Diamond membership tier, which already carries a much higher price. For members who joined with the understanding that Platinum provided a reasonable level of access, this new policy feels like an unfair way to upsell. It creates another impression that I have seen through several David Lloyd clubs where its obvious that they prioritise profit over member satisfaction. Members should not have to worry about losing access to facilities that were previously available to them or feel pressured into paying more just to maintain the same level of service they initially signed up for. Changes like these undermine trust in the brand. Also the spa area, which were once accessible to all members, transitioned into Spa Retreats. On top of the membership cost, members where it is not their home club, were being asked to pay extra for the spa access, further reducing the sense of value and inclusivity that should come with a premium membership. This was one of many reasons, I decided not to renew an annual membership with DL.

Positive experience: I have been a guest in this gym on a few occasions. The gym is nice overall and includes a great spa, which is a nice perk. However, the gym itself is very small, and it’s often difficult to get access to equipment due to overcrowding. Unfortunately, the recent changes have made things less convenient. There used to be a separate room available where you could still exercise. Now, all these rooms are locked away and reserved exclusively for classes. While I understand the need for dedicated class spaces, it would make a huge difference if at least one of these rooms was accessible during times when no classes are running. This would provide members with more options and reduce the frustration of waiting for equipment. Overall, it’s a good gym, but these limitations have made it less enjoyable compared to before.

Negative experience: Join this club at your peril Dreadful customer services They tell you one thing on signing up and then suddenly your membership tiers 'change' and you can or can't access various clubs anymore even though you're on the exact same membership. Honestly never seen anything like it.

Negative experience: Honestly, a bunch of freaks that treat you like someone with the plague if your membership level isn’t high enough. Never experienced such rude ‘customer service’ (or not, since they refused me any actual service, as I am clearly a pauper) in my life. A level of elitism that they actually lack the facilities to execute, yikes.

Negative experience: I’m not sure if these positive reviews are true. Membership team lied telling me it was the last day of half price joining fee (turns out it wasn’t), offered me PT sessions and didn’t inform me they expired before I could have used them. Warren was not at all customer friendly and numerous unanswered emails. Shocking!

Fantastic experience: Alex Canas showed me around and was so helpful in getting my membership sorted. He was super friendly and answered all my questions. The club is fantastic with amazing facilities. Lovely swimming pool and spa area. You can really spend all day here. GHD hairdryers and straighteners in changing rooms with luxury toiletries. Worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: Strange setting in the top floor of the FB shopping centre! But same DL feel. Great gym space. Didn't do spa here but have heard its great too. Helpful and friendly staff.

Negative experience: The facilities at this club are good, but when issues arise, they focus more on managing customers than providing service. If you're Asian or Chinese and considering joining, I think you should be aware of this. However, if you're not white, you may experience subtle discrimination. It’s usually not noticeable, but when problems occur, it becomes clear through condescending attitudes, superiority, and tone. For example, I booked a yoga class thinking it was for today, but it was actually for tomorrow. Even though there was space, the instructor asked me to leave, and while I complied since I hadn’t booked, their attitude made me uncomfortable. I spoke to the manager to ease my feelings, but it only made things worse. Reasons: The manager showed no empathy or understanding, reflecting a lack of customer-focused service. I was the only Asian there, and although there was space, I was asked to leave due to not booking. The manager avoided addressing this and made excuses, which made me feel ignored and disrespected. If I were white, I doubt I would have been asked to leave. As an Asian person, I feel uncomfortable and question David Lloyd’s fairness. In summary, I followed the rules and left the class, but the way I was treated felt dismissive. Speaking with the manager only intensified my discomfort. David Lloyd’s service is indifferent and not worth the £348 monthly fee we pay as diamond members.

Fantastic experience: Stunning club. The only DL I’ve been to where the wait staff aren’t rude, miserable and lazy. Purley and Beckenham are usually terrible. The staff here were all so helpful and polite at Fulham. The facilities are fantastic, spotless, top spec everything. The work areas are the best I’ve seen, private booths available for calls, the spa is it’s own floor and feels so secluded and private. The changing rooms are so well maintained, the showers are better than all my local clubs. And it’s 100m from the home of football (Stamford Bridge). What more could you ask for? Love it here and will be heading into to town to work way more frequently now I’ve found this one.

From time to time I like to bring along my little sister as a guest and I can leave her at the DL kids and go to the gym with no worries. She loves design squad and when we leave she is always begging me to take her back because she wants to see her best friend Hadieh LOL. Shout out Hadieh!!!

Fantastic experience: When I first went David Lloyd I absolutely fell in love. There is so much to do there. Whether its needing to working out, hitting the spa to relax, sit down and do some work on your laptop, grab a quick lunch…. Need I say more??? sometimes I spend the majority of my day there and time just passes by. It’s a great way to escape for me and my family. Staff are amazing. My grandson is obsessed with the kids Action Squad especially when Hadieh is on shift!

Fantastic experience: My first time at David Lloyd’s Fulham was one of the most pleasant experience . Why? First of all I have been greeted by lovely Andres who guided me briefly through the club and explained me the facilities. Once I got acquainted I attended my first ever class of dancing meditation…. I was exhausted from work , but once I got the moves my whole evening has transformed me into a dancing genius who has just awakened from a good night sleep. Afterwards I took a shower and enjoyed one of spa retreat…. Wow and what retreat : salted sauna, steam, jacuzzi, ice room, dry sauna , hydro foot massage ….chit chatting with lovely people. The cure for tiredness! Highly recommend it ! I have been living in london for 10 years and I barely discovered this now??? Shame on me

Fantastic experience: I was really impressed with Glory the member of staff who helped me to set up on the compression pants and show me around the gym. She was so helpful how to use various pieces of equipment and suggested to use the bio age machine to test my flexibility only I did not have my phone. She was very polite and I saw everyone, member a the gym she came in contact with she greeted them with a smile and gave them her undivided attention. Glory is a lovely young lady and a freshing addition to the team of David Lloyd Club

Fantastic experience: Just moved to London, was shopping around for different gyms, out of curiosity I went and got a tour of the Fulham David Lloyd Club, got an incredible tour from a Alex C, he explained the classes, showed me the workspace, recovering rooms, and the pool & spa sealed the deal!
