Fantastic experience: Lovely gym, lots of equipment. All working most of the time which is always handy. Friendly, helpful, approachable staff, shout out to GM Reece. Not my home gym but I enjoy every workout I complete there.
Negative experience: Benchs always dirty. When I asked the staff for anti bacterial spray to clean then benches. I was instructed to go to the toilet and clean it with the tissue from inside the toilet. But when staff members are training clients & working out they always happen to have an anti bacterial spray available for themselves. I guess the staff are better than the members. I will be cancelling my membership soon as this definitely one the worst gyms in Peckham. But one of the only gyms in Peckham. Wouldn’t recommend.

Robust cleaning regimes are still in place and we continue to pump in 100% fresh air ventilation, day and night, we clean on a daily basis, including cleaning of all equipment and gym facilities with anti-viral products. We encourage members to bring in a sweat towel to use after they have used a piece of equipment. Having cleaning stations has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of paper waster and we are focussed on minimising our waste as part of our commitment to Net-Zero. We are proud to be the very first Carbon Neutral Gym Chain in the UK. This is just a part of our efforts, for example we are also taking steps to reduce the amount of single use plastics in our vending machines.
Positive experience: Been a member for some time and the hours and ease of use keep me going. Yet some simple issues never seem to get solved: 1. Removed all cleaning stations after covid. Bring them back! Member cleaning after use need to accompany staff cleaning. It's not an either or. 2. Equipment is worn out don't get replaced. The spinning bikes have been broken/limping along for well over a year. Apparently parts can't be sourced as the model is so old! 3. Never hear back from the company when communicating. I have mentioned the above to staff in person and was adviced to write. In writing it must go into some auto delete as there is never any response or action taken.
Fantastic experience: Eunice is amazing and made my time here so enjoyable. I explained to her what I was working on and she was more than happy to show me the exercises that targeted those areas. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: The best gym i’ve been to. I have been a never for a good couple of months and always had the best experiences. The managers Joaquin and Reece are lovely and always willing to help with any problems or queries I have. Even having a little chat with them before or after my workout makes my gym experience better. There is a good variety of equipment and it’s very spacious allowing me to feel comfortable doing what I need to do. Would highly recommend joining this gym!!

Negative experience: Way too busy most of the time even when the app says it is only at 50% capacity. Too crowded and too long of a wait for equipments and machines.

Negative experience: No cleaning stations and before they say they clean the equipment, they don’t. I workout at night and have never seen them clean the bench’s. Sweat marks and all sorts and let’s not even mention the people who don’t even wear underwear. The air conditioning is poor and the gym when nearly empty is warm just like the water supply. This gym needs to improve before they lose members due to lacking basic necessities.

Negative experience: The weather is getting hotter, the monthly subscription for this gym is increasing but for some reason the air con isn’t. This is making Gyming uncomfortable. As I walk in I don’t even feel any cold breeze - sort this

Positive experience: I've been to this Gym a couple of times with day passes between a couple-several months ago and have recently signed up a monthly membership with the Gym. It's a nice big local Gym for me with many resistance/cardio machines and equipment to use. The only thing that I would like for the Gym to improve is the hygiene I.e. with having hand sanitiser stations, sanitiser sprays and tork roll stations been put back in place because you cannot be in the gym using equipments and there is no wipes or sprays to wipe them down after you or when other members use it with all their sweat and germs over it spreading and passing on to others. I asked one of the assistant managers about it and they said that the company have removed them due to the covid pandemic being over. I'm assuming the staff do clean the machines before opening and closing down time but more germs spread during the day but they should still have them in place regardless which I think is not really acceptable. My workplace Gym even has this still in place and some other Gyms I have visited/tried regardless if or no covid pandemic.

Positive experience: Really friendly gym with friendly staff who are always happy to help and advise. I never feel uncomfortable when I'm here, other gym goers are also friendly. Although I will say the gym could do with more clips for the barbells as there isn't enough to go around.

Negative experience: Machines always broken, never sufficient weights for the barbells, no 2.5s or 1.25s at all?! Always busy, and often no soap in the men’s toilets. Only go to this gym when cant get to any of the other options in the the gym group

Negative experience: Went there for one day during vacation. Had to buy a padlock (did not see any info about that online before), no one uses a towel or cleans the equipment after usage (also nothing provided to do so), shower smells disgusting. Only positive: booking was easy and not may people there at Saturday evening…

Positive experience: I give them credit for keeping the bathrooms clean as best as they can. I wake up to work out at 4am, and I always meet a freshly cleaned changing room. However, waking up at 4am and finding the gym closed without any prior notification, well. It happened twice, and I cancelled immediately after the second time. Joined PureGym and cancelled that after 2 days (check my reviews). Glad it all happened because now I’m at Anytime Fitness, and all I can say is, what an upgrade. But if you’re not an early bird weightlifter, Gym Group is definitely a good option.

Staff are incredibly helpful and forthcoming especially Simi and Joaquin. Place is kept clean and organized and has all the essentials to get a good workout in no matter goals or background. Becoming a small hub for the community and so far no faults or complains. Definitely!
Negative experience: Closed the gym, no reason given, no timeframe given, no refunds given. Oh but we can use a gym 40 minutes away, very helpful...

Positive experience: I have multi-gym access and this is by far the best of the gyms I go to, it's huge and has a wide range of equipment, and doesn't seem to get too overly busy. Staff members are always around when I go.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Chanelle at Nels Vibes & You for 6 months now and I can't recommend her enough. Chanelle created a nutrition and fitness plan to suit my needs and helped me to achieve my goals. To date Chanelle has helped me to get into the best shape of my life and continues to adapt and amend all plans where necessary. Very supportive, knowledgeable, and it's the best investment I've ever made.
Negative experience: Used to be decent but something has happened in recent months and the place has fallen into an appalling state. This morning the water tap, one door panel, and at least 7 machines were broken, and the roof was leaking. They've removed all the cleaning stations so the equipment is often disgusting, especially some of the mats, because there's nothing for people to clean their sweat off with. There were no staff this morning and apparently the gym is "remotely monitored".

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Chanelle from Nels Vibes and You at The Gym Group Peckham. Highly recommended. Chanelle is an exceptional fitness trainer, she has really helped me gain more confidence and increase my personal best weights over a very short space of time. She incredibly motivating and supportive of my journey, with tailored training and nutrition programme.
Negative experience: gym rubbish the teachers don't pay due attention I paid and I can't use the gym because they didn't pay attention to my registration

Fantastic experience: The personal trainers are great here, especially John very helpful and knowledgeable.
Fantastic experience: This gym is a welcoming, clean and very well equipped. John is an extremely knowledgable, approachable and helpful personal trainer. He has helped me with my boxing and knows a lot about strength training too.
