St Pancras Boxing Club: Opinions
Fantastic experience: i attended here a year ago but moved out of the area, after trying out other gyms, by comparison i can safely say that this is an amazing and unique space. it is not for the faint of heart, but if you're willing, you will get twice as much out as you invest. I promise. it has given me an incredible foundations physically, and blessed me with a brilliant mind-set when it comes to facing challenges, in the ring and out. it has had a positive lasting impact. if you attend, give it as much time as ya can. CJ is an amazing coach. the St pancras ABC team have built a beautiful culture in that gym and local area. Was a privilege to attend, many thanks! xx
Negative experience: He made fun of me for being from America. Told me it was 5 pounds for a session but later then changed it to 10. I did not feel welcome here especially since it was my first time boxing.
Fantastic experience: One off the best boxing gym you can step into the layout is great the training hardcore and there always great vibe great music the subs to pay to train amazing
Fantastic experience: C.j has the best Best gym ever
Fantastic experience: My 2 kids 9 and 11 love this place. Cj is a great coach.
Fantastic experience: C J is great! Love the routines and the groups are a friendly bunch.
Fantastic experience: If you are weak-minded & scared to push yourself beyond your own limits, find yourself another gym. If you want a trainer to coddle you, go and get a one on one trainer who you pay enough to treat you like a baby. This is a serious training centre, with a no nonsense old school approach to coaching, the requisite expectations of discipline & dedication. This place will not only test your fitness, but your character. Stick with it and you will see the results and also realise the method behind the old-school approach that is tried and tested. Cus D'amato wasn't exchanging pleasantries with his fighters when they were training. CJ, J and Claire are invaluable to their students and the sporting community at large. Few places like this around. If you have the heart, try it. If you have heart, you'll love it. If you dont, go do a hot yoga pilates class and charge your crystals. Would recommend to anyone serious about boxing, fitness and a supportive coaching team & member community. Not for softies or people with a gym bag full of excuses
Fantastic experience: Excellent coaching. Friendly and welcoming and great place to learn how to box and if you want to get fit. No messing about, serious training and you won't beat the value for money, £5 per session for adults and £2 for the kids is probably the best in London. Great community gym.
Fantastic experience: Very good gym and trainer. You will walk into a very cultured place that is clipped with a great deal of history and love for the sport.
Negative experience: Disgusting boxing club rude staff worse boxing club in London by far anybody that goes their is a mug
Positive experience: Good space has a weights section, and 2 rings, showers also. The coach is disrespectful unnecessarily, by anyones standards thats just his personality. So you either take it personally or you don't If you can get past that it's simply a place to sweat if you're a recreational boxer as they don't teach any technique and if you're a competition boxers then the amateur team will possibly stand you a chance of improving your boxing ( possibly ) as didn't really see any teaching just yelling. I've been to many boxing gyms the only advantage is the class is 5gbp that's cheap and affordable compared to what other gyms charge and the community seem to be relatively friendly. Worth experiencing for yourself always
Fantastic experience: A non nonsense boxing gym. Straight up hard work and commitment. The trainer takes no prisoners but has a heart of gold underneath and is a man for the community. If you’re willing to put the work in and you want to get fit and learn how to box, this is the place.
Fantastic experience: Super club, lovely camaraderie, and great coach
Fantastic experience: Top quality coaching with the facilities to match!
Fantastic experience: Best boxing gym, great coach, great people. A+++
Fantastic experience: Excellent on all counts
Fantastic experience: Very good place!
Fantastic experience: Excellent boxing gym. On your first visit expect to be interigated by main trainer, consider it a vetting process. If you get past that you will discover he's actually soft teddy bear pretending to be a wolf. Everyone at the gym is very welcoming and first timers shouldn't feel intimidated. From the pros to new starters everyone feels like a friend's. But that doesn't mean they will go easy on you if you decide to spar. Best fitness choice I made in my life, absolutely love this place.
Fantastic experience: Very good club with a relaxed setting but rigorous training methods. Has plenty of equipment but they are mostly old and slightly worn.
Negative experience: The person who runs/owns the place is disgusting and so rude im so surprised that he is still in business, he uses disgusting language (swears at the kids) to the children bearing in mind most of them are young children, my son used to leave there crying and hated going back, so of course i put a stop to it.
Fantastic experience: Love this place!
Fantastic experience: Nice club.. nice trainers , i like everything!!!! Good one...
Fantastic experience: Best boxing gym around. Equipment is state-of-the art and very new. Trainers are top class, especially CJ.
Positive experience: Really professional
Fantastic experience: The best cardio, you will sweat! Great trainer if you don't mind being shouted at Friendly group and good for beginners.... tip: don't say you've boxed before! : )
Fantastic experience: Killer gym. Haven't been for a while due to scheduling clash but I loved going there. Great coach and gym goers. People are friendly and help you learn to box. Excellent way to lose fat and learn to punch!
