Fantastic experience: Top quality gym

Positive experience: Okay gym with good, unique equipment I trained here for roughly a year, and would train from between 6:30-8:30 AM Selection of machines is good, for both cardio and weightlifting. Dedicated boxing areas with a ring and track included too. Gym brands like Prime, Atlantis, Watson and Nautilus. Main thing letting the gym down is hygiene- it’s consistently grim and dirty no matter what time you go. There’s rubbish left on the floors, toilets are unusable due to how disgusting they are. Weights are left everywhere and nothing is done about it. The music is also far too loud Used this gym mainly because of work, but wouldn’t go out of my way to train here

Negative experience: I registered as a member of this establishment based on its reputation as one of the premier gyms in the area. However, I must advise you to reconsider your decision to join, as the conditions here are less than satisfactory. The overall cleanliness of the facility is lacking, particularly in the restroom areas, regardless of the time of day. Additionally, a significant number of the exercise machines are either inoperable or in need of repair. Furthermore, the atmosphere is often disrupted by groups of young men engaging in idle conversation near the Smith machines. Considering the current state of the gym, it would not surprise me if it became the source of a potential health hazard.

Negative experience: Equipments are good, but the gym itself is dirty. And if you want to see juice heads around wolverhampton who dont compete in shows, give a visit. Too crowded at times. Music is too loud, and customer service is a joke. especially the number that has been displayed on the door during out of service time.

Fantastic experience: Got in early 6.15 am. First time I've been to the wolves one. £5 pay as you. £2 pre workout. Decent tunes pumping out speed garage,baseline. Plenty of decent equipment for good workout. Atmosphere was like I'm here to train so I'll train. No attitude though. A real good experience. I'll use again no problem.

Positive experience: I’ve been a member of this this gym for the past 2 years, and during that time I’ve witnessed a significant shift in the atmosphere. The gym boasts genuinely excellent equipment and a cool aesthetic, but unfortunately over the last few months it’s just become full of kids messing about not training properly - 18/19 year olds just taking flex selfies because they’re in a ‘proper’ gym. Obviously the gym is for everyone, and I’d never want an atmosphere where beginners don’t feel welcome, but the types of young lads it’s drawing in are leaving the place a mess (dumbbells, plates, cable attachments scattered throughout the gym or missing altogether), they barely train, and just generally get on the nerves of the regulars who just want to train and go home. Despite the gym’s posted signs that threaten bans for failing to re-rack weights, this isn’t enforced at all, so members get away with it and the gym is a bit of a dump to be honest, one of the most untidy gyms I’ve been to, plates lying around all over the place, dumbbells missing… A lot of the equipment is regularly out of order due. For someone like me, who’s been training a few years now and just wants to train, briefly socialise, and go home, it’s less than ideal these days. It’s become overcrowded with groups of kids not doing anything productive and generally messing around leaving the place untidy. I remember when staff used to go around calling people out for not putting their weights away… I have now cancelled my membership and am going elsewhere due to the above, but I hope to join again in the future as the equipment is some of the best in Wolverhampton. It’s a shame it’s become the ‘trendy’ gym as this has attracted the idiots in. Despite this, it’s a proper gym with some real equipment. My honest feedback to the business would be to deal with members who disrespect the gym, don’t re-rack weights, and disrupt the gym's overall environment. Aka, ban them. This would bring back the gym's reputation as a proper facility with top-notch equipment. Fingers crossed that things take a positive turn in the future. I know a lot of other people feel the same way as I do, and have also since left the gym as a result. I wish the business owner well in their endeavours.

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I’ve been to , it’s clean and friendly with plenty for equipment and lovely staff with their own posing area a massive room of mirrors which I love! plus they are open 24hrs which is a bonus! Great value for money, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Came in on a day pass, and will be going back tomorrow to get a membership. Will be my go-to Gym from now on. No fuss, plenty of machines, and really good ones at that. Loads of benches. Cardio machines upstairs link to my watch, honestly fantastic Gym and equipment. Parking potentially could be a problem. But the chap at the desk told me where I could possibly park if it was full.

Negative experience: Never going back, equipment is old and in need of some major tlc, the staff that there was answered no questions, definitely not a positive experience

Negative experience: Carly is a very rude and terrible manager uses disgusting foul language around young kids and members, overall the gym is disgusting toilets are absolutely filthy they are never cleaned and the kids behind the desk are useless and don't have a clue what they are doing.

I’ve been going to The Foundry Wolverhampton since it opened and have never looked back since. I don’t think I could really feel I’ve had a good hard workout session at your average leisure gyms anymore.

Positive experience: Kind of old school gym! It has every thing you need to train. Has a boxing ring, boxing bags and other cardio machines. Its good but need improvments! The toilets need to be cleaned more often.
