Fantastic experience: Love this gym. Have been using it for just over a year now when I come in for my PT sessions. Although it is a large gym, I’ve never felt uncomfortable and that’s down to the friendly staff and other gym users. There’s always someone around to help you if needed. Well managed, well equipped and clean.

Fantastic experience: Have been using this gym for nearly two years along with the one in Paignton. Always feel comfortable with the surroundings, staff are really helpful and there is always someone around if you need some help or advice. Would 100% recommend any of winners 2000 gyms. :)

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Torquay - hands down. The staff are excellent, always friendly and willing to help. The gym itself is well managed and organised with plenty of space. They’ve got premium equipment for whatever your fitness goals are and the sauna is such a treat. Thoroughly enjoy coming to winners. Also having access to the other sites is really handy if working outside of Torquay. I often pop to the Newton site if I’m coming home from Exeter. Super convenient!

Fantastic experience: I love torquey winners it’s the best out of all 3. The management and staff are really nice and really friendly and keep the gym nice and clean. Newton abbot is the worst one out of all 3. Staff are rude , the management is poor and the place is filthy.

Fantastic experience: Having trained in gyms all over the world (including several other gyms across the UK), something is always lacking when I compare them with Winners. The staff are exceptional, the equipment accommodates a wide range of abilities and goals, the music isn’t polarising, the memberships are very affordable and you can train any time you like! I haven’t been able to find all these benefits anywhere else. Winners is truly the gold standard of gyms.

It is also open to members 24/7, 7 days a week, as well as there being free classes with membership throughout the week

Fantastic experience: Turned up and asked to been shown around the gym, and the guy on reception, Ethan, was more than happy to do so, even offered a free trial to see how I get on, he was always friendly, said hi when he saw me and even offered advice on improvements! Awesome people and gym, with less “annoyances” compared to PureGym ;)

Negative experience: Not bad a lot better gyms in the area really expensive PTs don’t do anything but talk and flirt with woman and charge mega money or always on there fone and compared to others gyms it’s ok if ya got a good paid job or you live near by apart from that it’s rubbish I don’t feel you get ya value for money and no1 wants to talk too ya or help ya why I don’t use it anymore and train eles were and I’m better in my opinion.

Positive experience: Bit of a confusing layout but free parking (not worrying about a ticket is nice). Lots of equipment & a tiny sauna - but still, it's a sauna. Communal showers are a bit weird, not in school anymore lmao...

Fantastic experience: Winners 2000 is by far the best gym in Torquay. It has so much space, a huge range of equipment and friendly staff. For personal training Hannah is an experienced trainer who understands that going to the gym can be about many things. Whether it’s weight loss, time to your self, or fitness she has so much knowledge and expertise. The gym has a friendly atmosphere, and anyone a little bit nervous to join or rejoin don’t be! Oh and may also find yourself training side by side to an Olympian!

Positive experience: Too many keys missing from gents lockers and music too loud. This is just nit picking but overall good.

Positive experience: Good gym When it's open being as rona destroying everything Good size but does have mabey abit more focus on cardio and fitness then straight up weight lifting but none the less and on site parking

Negative experience: If you want to cancel your membership early because of Covid they will threaten you with legal action and when that doesn't work Dean will ban you for life.

Negative experience: After being a member on and off for a number of years, I will not be returning. I work 5 days a week in a school, have a child full time and having to abid to a number of restrictions, I do not have the time to commit to going to the gym. After sending 3 emails enquiring about when my contract would end, Winners 2000 did not respond, therefore I cancelled the direct debit in the hope that this would force them to get in contact with me so I could settle the remaining balance with them. Instead they have had a financial company contact me with additional charges, via email only (no letter to my home address) which I have not seen until today. I will now face further charges as they wanted it paid by Monday and the phone lines to the company are closed. The most infuriating part about this is that I only had one month left to pay and if Winners 2000 had replied to me in the first place, I would of been able to leave the direct debit in place and cancel it this month and save myself having to pay even more for a service that I've not been using. When there's always a member of staff at the desk with constant access to the computer, I believe that Winners 2000 have purposely ignored my email for their financial gain and I'm disgusted that they are exploiting people during a time of great financial uncertainty.

Fantastic experience: Always a great place to workout. Roomy, well equipped and staff are friendly and helpful! Much prefer the atmosphere here to other gyms in the area.

Fantastic experience: All the equipment you could ever want, friendly helpful staff, easy parking, a great shower room to freshen up afterwards, and all at a very reasonable subscription. But the best thing is that it does not seem to attract the poseurs and space-wasters who hog the equipment while they check out their social media as in many of the nationwide gyms - such as the Puregym that I used before relocating to Torquay. I just wish it stayed open a bit later - it's 21:30 these days and another hour would be a big help.

Fantastic experience: All other gyms in the area... take note this is how you run a gym. Caters for all be it powerlifting, numerous Watson racks with ample weight. Olympic lifting in the separated area with lifting platforms. Bodybuilding in the main gym, lots of isolation machines, free weights and Watson equipment. Dumbbells upto 65kg that I saw. Long sprint track, prowler. Massive martial arts area pads and ring rig (pull ups) set up. That's all the good stuff, feedback for management to make it 5* Sauna/steam could do with an update. Dirty in the steam inbetween the wood. Stuck my toe in the gap by mistake wish I hadn't. Steam is okay just old and light needs replacing. If I lived in Torquay this would be my gym of choice visit it you will not be disappointed!
