Fantastic experience: Great place to train, it has a really good selection of weights and equipment. Staff and others in the gym are all friendly which gives the gym a good feeling.

Fantastic experience: I really love this gym. I have trained at many different gyms and my last place was Nuffield which was more of a social gym with far too much talking and hogging of equipment. I joined about a year ago now and think the staff are personable and polite. They are just real people with a genuine interest in you as an individual. I am unfortunately moving away from the area in August however have found another decent looking gym which will meet my requirements. What stands out for me with Urban is the great equipment and most people are up there to train. When I was at Nuffield I would spend over 2 hours there as part of socialising. Now I put my headphones in and train for no longer than an hour and get far more from this gym than any others I have trained in. Keep it up guys.

Fantastic experience: Quite simply the best gym in the Leamington/Warwick area. The equipment is first class, with a perfect balance of free weights and resistance machines. The membership fees are more than reasonable and probably too cheap for the facilities offered and the staff who are both welcoming and knowledgeable. The supplements bar is nicely stocked and there is always something new to try.

Negative experience: Urban Fitness may want to vet their staff thoroughly. I appreciate you cannot vet peoples poor character, which is easy to mask at an interview. Kasey Birtley (Personal trainer) thought it was sufficient to move from one gym and start working at another and stealing my money in the process. For anyone that wants to know what occurred a matter of months ago please see below -------------------------------------- Imagine having long term health conditions and no longer being able to train and your personal trainer (Kasey Birtley then a PT at Puregym) callously and dismissively tells you "...times are difficult for many reasons" . Further adding "its a business"; proceeds to ignore me and retain monies for 4 out of 5 PT sessions I paid for. Kasey was offered the opportunity to carry out the sessions and completely disengaged and just kept my money- which is THEFT! Kasey DOES NOT CARE ABOUT VISIBLE OR INVISIBLE disabilities. Has a very POOR attitude indicative of greed, dismissiveness, ZERO empathy, no real concern about ethics or person centred health. A MAJOR disappointment and utter disgrace. I am guessing times must be difficult for Kasey as he is clasping these funds for dear life- its pitiful! This is unacceptable that a PT would conduct their business in an illegal manner. *******This is not a false review, any member of staff/ or prospective client of his that wants information about my situation, please do not hesitate to contact me. I cannot help but think that if I wasn't a female, he may have felt no option but to offer a fair service. But, for whichever reason he feels entitled to TAKE peoples money and FAIL to deliver a service! *update following Urban gyms initial response*: I did not "succeed" in giving your gym one star. Its evident that I have brought to light, a pattern of behaviour that your gym is not aware of. As you have pointed out, you do not "VET" the trainers, so thank you for confirming this. ***UPDATE as of 24 October 2022******following Kaseys response months after the “incident”. Fantastic experience: Been training at Urban for a while now. The range of equipment always means you can switch up the workouts and keep them interesting. All the staff and PT’s are so helpful and are always willing to offer advice when needed. A proper professional environment all round.

Fantastic experience: Joined last month from having been a previous member of Nuffield. This is a proper gym, loads of great equipment, spacious and not overcrowded. Can't be more pleased with my decision to move. Staff are friendly and always welcoming.

Negative experience: Staff seem friendly, but I preferred doing the classes at core, as the urban one is very rundown now compared to the others in town. ♥️

Amazing place to train myself and my clients at. Every client is really happy there, and have noted how friendly the staff are, and how clean it is. Love this place!

Fantastic experience: Joined this gym in January, as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by smiling friendly helpful and welcoming team, eager to wish you a good session, after only a few sessions I was greeted by name, the equipment is fantastic, atmosphere is motivating, changing rooms bright and clean. I moved to this gym for several reasons, its 100% increased my training, and motivation to train, its become a second home, the little touches make all the difference, the towels, the support towards my training, I’ve met some very interesting and friendly people, everyone with the same mindset of just having a great training session. Its a 45 mile round trip for me, and worth every mile!! A gym that cares about the members, clean and tidy and one that makes you train harder every single session!! Great work guys!!

Fantastic experience: I travel alot around the uk and when ever im local i will always train at urban has the best equipment and space. The grappling room is definitely the best in Leamington and the surrounding areas. Also the added feature of an occasional dog makes it so much better

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined Urban sports fitness and I have to say Fantastic equipment with great COVID-19 protocols in place being in forced with staff, this was the main reason I left my old gym to join here Because I feel safe and secure that’s everyone is sanitising all equipment after each use with designated personalised towel upon entry, all towels are washed and cleaned every-time I come in. Great to see COVID-19 procedures in place and being in forced all the time. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant gym whatever your training goals. Urban are always looking to improve and add to their extensive collection of equipment. The site is always clean and tidy and the high standards set my the team are clear to see. The staff are friendly and willing to help at anytime and can support you whether you are just starting out or are an experienced gym goer. I would absolutely recommend Urban and am confident they have the equipment, knowledge and environment needed for you to achieve your training goals.

I’ve trained here from almost the beginning so I’ve been fortunate to see all of the improvements and progress that this gym has been through. Fantastic, huge extension, constant delivery of top quality equipment and the best and most friendly staff you could wish for in a gym. Do not hesitate to sign up here as you will not regret it. Fantastic value, friendly and knowledgeable staff, top drawer equipment with a huge leg room and new cardio room packed with everything that you could need. In a nutshell, a fantastic facility.

Fantastic experience: Urban Sports Fitness is a highly professional facility that is more than just a gym. Noel and his team are always very welcoming and are working very hard to build a great community. The gym provides everything required to assist my professional rugby league club to get the very best from our sessions. Be it room to wrestle in large groups or split groups across the large selection of power, strength or fitness equipment this place has it all. Seeing ladies lift in this gym is really encouraging even though at the moment I'm not one of them! It's never too busy either. You can always get on something. Living in Leamington as long as I have, I've used many gyms and this one is by far the best in terms of price and what you get for your money.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful, encouraging staff. All the equipment you could need and at an affordable price. I've been going to Urban Fitness Leamington Spa every day for 3 weeks (with rest/recovery days) and it has been absolutely superb. I would definatly reccomend them.

Fantastic experience: Want a mad pump? Want a gym which is a reasonable price with friendly staff? Or do you just want to hit your chest like King Kong with angina? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this gym is for you. Yesterday I was able to superset bench with decline bench AND press ups - at 10am on a Saturday - and there was amble room; it was even accompanied by the pump-inspiring band: Linkin Park! This morning, I am going to tear my arms with full confidence that I'll be able to use the free weights of my choice, a Swiss Bar, an EZ Curl Bar and the cable machine as much as I want. Gyms like this only exist in myth. And - as you all are probably going to agree with me - we all want to look like a Greek god. So get off your backside, go pick up a pump at Urban Fitness and actually go home to be able to look yourself in the mirror. I'm about to honk a double scoop of pre-workout knowing that I'll be left alone to have my own workout montage.
