Positive experience: This is the best place we have found locally for children’s swimming lessons. It’s clean and well organised. There are many in water helpers for the early stages. They are inclusive. Email communication is quite verbose.

Fantastic experience: Home venue of the Futsal team, Dinamo Tekkers. Big sporting complex with many varying sporting activities. Clean, bright, airy and a nice ambient temperature.

Fantastic experience: Nobody washes in the showers before they get in to the swimming pool. Despite all the signs asking them to do so. It’s gross. Apart from that, a great pool and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I visited here with my son for a cricket session, and I was impressed by its fantastic amenities, which include tennis, swimming, cricket, and various other sports facilities. I would highly recommend the Bradfield College sports complex to anyone looking for a comprehensive sports destination that offers a wide range of activities and a supportive environment for young athletes.

Fantastic experience: Daughter playing an ITF Junior Tennis Tournament. Impressed with the facilities. Courts could do with some more watering, but still very good.

Fantastic experience: Myself, husband Steve & Daughter Ashleigh were invited to attend Jazz on a Summers Evening 2023, where Ashleigh performed as a representative of The Amber Trust. WOW!! Is all I can say, what an amazing Evening we were treated to by the Students & Staff of the college. Made all the more memorable by such a stunning venue, beautiful weather & how very welcome we were made to feel.

Negative experience: I'm a member of the group hosted by Bradfield college in summer. I subscribed the gym because I thought I could use it, then it was told me that I couldn't. So, I asked a refund, but the manager denied it because the price was lower than the fixed one (20 £). I didn't even take the medical examination so, I guess that I paid 20 £ for 2 papers that I signed (none told me that it wasn't refundable). Maybe I should consider my payment as charity, but I find it absurd for such a rinomate structure

Negative experience: Just been told wifi is for Members Only! Son plays tennis tournaments here regularly, so forced to hang around for hours, in a place with no coverage. Funny, cause they gave the code to another non member just before I asked. Gonna give it 30minutes and ask her where the toilets are. I hope Barbeque Becky doesn't call security. It's wifi dude, not champagne!

Fantastic experience: I can only comment on the pool and land training areas for ball sports like basketball, netball, volleyballl, etc. which I've my son has been training at 4x week for the last 5 years. I think this is the best pool and sports hall that his swim club uses, compared to 5 other facilities around Reading his club has used to date, in terms of cleanliness, level of maintenance, staff friendliness, and availability of parking. It's also set in Bradfield Village which has many interesting points for an hour-long nature walk, especially with your dog on a lead.

Staff at reception are always friendly and helpful. Fantastic class leaders / teachers / instructors. General swimming, lanes, aqua fit, adult only and toddler swimming sessions.

Positive experience: Great tennis facilities. Indoor and out. No membership required. Group led instructors are great, Ricky, Pete, Damian, Mark all well experienced and keep the kids learning and moving up groups as they improve. Would definitely recommend the instructor led sessions even for kids with little or no experience of tennis. Half term and summer sessions available.

Positive experience: We too our son who is on the spectrum to lessons here as other swimming baths were less sympathetic or well setup. Lessons have been absolutely excellent. He has made great progress. We've been able to use a changing room which means I can help him wash in a low sensory environment. When he started he was phobic about water on the face and hair, he has excelled with the help of an extremely supportive helpful instructor who is very understanding. Groups are just the right size and in the first few stages there are several extra staff in each lesson in the pool to help. My only frustration has been how difficult it can be to get spaces in a group that suits if you don't race other parents to the desk and the crammed viewing places, although they've recently allowed parents into an overflow to watch at times. I would always recommend Bradfield swimming lessons over any others in West reading. It's worth the extra price because the teaching is so much better, the kids progress steadily and with confidence. The facilities are well maintained and staff happy to chat about child's progress.

Positive experience: Good facilities, good selection of classes. Clean. Needs a little more customer focus. The staff on reception never real engage, you don’t get the feeling of there being a focus on the paying public. I’m not saying they don’t arrange classes or publish the timetables (which change between term time and holidays) it’s just that there does not seem any interest in engaging with users.
