Fantastic experience: Use the gym about 3 times a week, pay a monthly subscription, very fair price, good range of equipment, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to look after their body a bit more.

Fantastic experience: I have had the pleasure of using both writhlington and Norton for years before I became a member my son enjoy many of his own friends birthday parties at writhlington/go bananas one he grew out go bananas her enjoyed the laser tag and ninja assault course which amazing weather you are a child or and adult. I became a member just over 3yrs ago just after Covid and my son going back to full time education. And I just say it has help my fitness journey so much. I struggle with my anxiety and other physical restrictions. The staff have made me feel nothing welcome comfortable and help me to get the most out of the facilities without triggering any of my physical restrictions.and when I am struggling helping find something else. My son also has swimming lessons here and when he started 2 and half years ago he couldn’t swim now is half way through his stage 4. So in short would definitely recommend both place 100%

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the On Demand classes and all the virtual classes, plenty of choice to suit all abilities and those with busy schedules, from half hour classes to an hour. On demand allows you to choose your class when you arrive depending on what area you would like to focus on. A great atmosphere to workout in small classes or even alone. We are so lucky to have these facilities on our doorstep.

Fantastic experience: My son went to his ever holiday club today and we were both really anxious, I had my doubts he'd stay...but immediately upon arrival harry greeted us and was amazing with my son, he really welcomed him and knew exactly how to reassure us both he was so lovely. My son absolutely loved his day and will definitely be returning next year

Fantastic experience: The gym in dragonfly leisure at Writhlington is staffed by a friendly team, who are always eager to lend a hand or just to encourage. The equipment is very well maintained and kept very clean. There is a good array of equipment, and all are demonstrated by the staff before letting you lose on your own. A body scan was taken, and an exercise program designed for my issues, I have been going for 6 months and can see a definite improvement in my body and my mental state. I can't recommend more highly. Update. Dragonfly Leisure has increased the size of the gym. The new areas are fantastic they have added numerous machines, and the extra space means that even when really busy, you still have room to exercise without being under each other's feet. Dragonfly Leisure has done a cracking job. The gym is top-notch it's a pleasure to go there. Well done, and thank you.

Positive experience: I was hitting my head on the ceiling on one cross trainer. Needs moving I approach a member of staff.....she said she was not technically on duty!! Poor....
Fantastic experience: We very recently had a Ninjair party for our son here, and I can’t say enough good things about the facilities and staff. The place is extremely clean, and run very efficiently. Even with a timing mix up that was completely my fault, the staff at dragonfly leisure centre went above and beyond to make sure my son and his friends had an amazing time and didn’t miss out on anything. Having a dedicated party room and party host makes everything much easier on the parents as well! I will definitely be back and will certainly recommend DLC to other parents looking to host birthday parties!

Positive experience: My little one enjoyed the under 3s softplay. It's a shame older kids kept coming in and playing and this is not monitored at all. The food and drink took quite awhile to come and came in 3 stages but they did start with the little ones food first.
Fantastic experience: Used the spa £6 for half an hour . Lovely and clean ,was small but done the job ,only downside u had to go in the corridor to get there .

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely brilliant for toddlers. Unsettingly, it's closing down to make way for a Gym expansion. They say it's because it's not busy, but it's not that, it's always busy. They could put their prices up slightly but obviously there's more money in Gyms them toddlers. This is a travesty!

Negative experience: Made a tennis court booking for 1pm on Saturday Nov 18th, at 12pm on that day I received a phone call to say my booking had been cancelled as the courts were too slippery. I decided to do a work out instead and when I arrived there discovered all courts were in use for coaching. Apparently it's safe to play on a slippery court if a coach is being paid to watch you. I observed for a while and was then told by the lady I complained to that I wasn't allowed to watch.. Absolutely shocking double standards
Hi Shawn, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Firstly, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and late notice. Unfortunately, we do experience issues with slippery courts between November and February, which render them unsafe for general use. This is caused by condensation dripping from the steel roof frame. Following a risk assessment, our coaching team have been trained to adapt lessons to minimise the risk of slipping, hence why you witnessed lessons still taking place. The courts are planned to be repainted during the Easter holidays. This will improve the grip of the courts making them playable all year round. Regarding you spectating, only parents or guardians are permitted to watch junior lessons. This is in line with our safeguarding policy. Fantastic experience: This soft play is amazing! Round the corner from my house I go to the gym here and didn’t even realise they had one. I’ve been going here every week with my baby for a few months and it is so big! Lots of sections for different ages my baby loves it. My baby goes free until she is 1 and adults go free which is how it should be! The coffees are amazing and the menu is brilliant with really reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The gymnastics facilities are truly excellent and the staff are knowledgeable, fun, helpful and skilled. My children have been going to the pre-school classes for years and the classes are tailored to their abilities in the most gentle way, enabling them to enjoy learning and therefore succeed. Couldn't recommend enough. If you're unsure of which class is best, seek out Laura!

Positive experience: Wonderful soft play - my 3 year old grandson loves it - different areas for different ages and the cafe and entrance fee is reasonably priced. Not 5* due to quite slow service from the cafe sometimes.

We are continually looking at ways to make the customer experience more enjoyable, so any comments are well received.
Fantastic experience: This soft play is excellent. There are spaces for babies, toddlers and older children. The cafe serves reasonably priced food. One word of caution, you need to book a place in school holidays.

Fantastic experience: Great place to visit regardless of the weather.The actual soft play is massive, such a variety of things to do. Lovely separate area for under 3's which is actually monitored by the staff to avoid older children entering & being rowdy. We would reccomend and return

Positive experience: My first visit was fantastic. The prices are affordable and the place is clean and tidy. It's very large and I like that there are different areas for kids to play. However, the kitchen is completely manic. You only get 1 hour and 30 minutes per session. Our food took that long to cook, and we were offered boxes to take our food home. I personally think that it's appalling that we couldn't just stay 15 minutes longer to eat our food. While I recommend this soft play, I really would avoid ordering food unless you like eating meals in your car.
We are really upset that your second visit did not meet the experience you had on your first visit, It seems on this occasion we may have got it wrong. We can only improve on our customer service if customers take the time to leave a review, so thank you, this gives us the opportunity to investigate what the issues were, allowing us to get it right for next time. Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities, we hired the laser quest for a child's birthday party. Children enjoyed themselves hugely. Very helpful staff and friendly to. On site cafe with a good selection of drinks and food. Ample free parking.

Fantastic experience: I travel from Frome 4 times a week to attend classes at Writhlington mainly with Bev who is just fantastic! Zumba, Yoga and Pump give me a good range of exercise which always feel like fun and never a chore. It's a spotless facility with friendly staff and great value for money when signing up for a year. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Zumba, yoga and pump classes at the Writhlington site mainly, for many years. The staff and instructors are friendly and excellent teachers. It has been great for my physical and mental wellbeing!

Fantastic experience: Visited Go Bananas soft play today and my 3.5 year old daughter loved it!! Very good size & great little cafe area for food & drink, paying for her to get in was really good value as others you got to pay for yourself to get in aswell as the child but here you dont! Fantastic experience: At the time of writing, the price for membership to this gym is £22 per month on a one-month rolling contract. For that, you get access to the gyms at Writhlington and Midsomer Norton for no additional cost along with heavily subsidised access to things like swimming. The gyms are well equipped and modern, and the booking system for using them is straightforward. You do need to buy a wristband when you take a membership which is about a tenner but to be honest of the 3 gyms I've tried in the area this is the one I've found is the best so far. I'm very happy to keep coming back. For both Writhlington and MSN locations I've been to, there's a decent amount of parking and other on-site facilities

Tried to ring them third time and no one answered just a message saying leave a message and they would get back to me in three - four hours ,what good is that if you want to go now and just trying to find out if there is a party going on so you do not have another waist of time and money getting there. Fantastic experience: Thank you to all the Writhlington staff who are always friendly, helpful and encouraging. Really enjoy using the gym and attending classes that have made a big difference to my fitness levels. Kayleigh has especially helped to keep me motivated while I was accessing passport to health. My son attends trampolining lessons which he loves and he's done climbing in the past, again it's the level of commitment from the staff that make all the difference, big thank you to you all.

Fantastic experience: Booked softplay for my daughter's 5th birthday. Staff were really helpful, we had someone on hand to help everything set up and get the kids to the table for food. The other softplay wasn't booked so they were even kind enough to let us use both sides. All the kids had a great time, would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Joined the Writhlington gym 10 weeks ago, it is excellent, lots of classes for all levels, plenty of gym equipment and on demand/virtual exercises. The instructors are very supportive, Kayleigh has been amazing, she has supported and coached us through our journey and is inspirational and a credit to the gym.

Fantastic experience: I did a weight management course through my gp and loved every minute. It was hard work but with the help and support of the amazing team there it made it so much more enjoyable. The facilities are great and always clean and the staff was always polite and helpful. Fantastic experience: Dragonfly Leisure provides many excellent facilities from gyms to swimming to lessons in many sports. One of the key things for us is the softplay at Writhlington. We're so crazily lucky to have a top notch softplay nearby. With the booking system, it means you're guaranteed not to be left waiting to get in. The café is great and all is fairly priced. Always recommended for anyone with kids!

Fantastic experience: Amazing! We haven't been since before the pandemic and it's somehow even better than before! Great prices for an afternoon of play, really expansive play areas for all ages with just enough challenging bits. The food is reasonably priced and tasty. The staff are really excellent- so friendly and polite. One offered to clean a table for us which seems like a small thing but really made a huge impression. Fully reccomend it, we happily make the trip from Bath because it's so so good:)

Fantastic experience: We had the laser tag inflatable party for my sons 8th birthday here and it was great! Unexpectedly even the parents got to have a go if they wished and the party hosts were very friendly and made it lots of fun for us! I would definitely recommend it for a party and will try the other types they offer for my other children if I can!

Positive experience: Go Bananas Soft Play. Visited for the first time this week. Great place for soft play, plenty of parking, extensive soft play areas catering for babies to children. Cafe is reasonably priced and has friendly staff. Update, went again recently and still really good. Food on offer is good as are hot and cold drinks.

Positive experience: Nice facility with great classes, especially the Tuesday evening kettle bells. Good changing rooms / showers, and even a little climbing wall!
Fantastic experience: The best soft play in the southwest for shore its so clean the staff are all very helpful and polite the cost to enter is excellent and the food is always fresh allround fantastic place for kids to burn off energy and adults to chill with a coffee and a bite to eat

Positive experience: So much better with fewer people around. Easier for kids to play, no hunting for a table. The staff are doing well to keep on top of the table service. Maybe a menu on the tables would make it easier to order. But good to be able to go and let kids GO BANANAS! again

Fantastic experience: It is a lovely place! Very cosy and the tables are close to the play area so you can watch! Good value for fair prices! Just watch the table cornes and you will have and amazing experience!

Positive experience: Great soft play for the kids. Bit of a zoo in normal times of course but worth paying a bit extra for a 90 minute session when our kids could go a bit crazy with the place to themselves!
