Fantastic experience: A good gym with all the equipment you need and great Staff. Amy always goes out of her way to help show people equipment and make them feel welcome and is the greatest asset to the gym group team.
Fantastic experience: Good gym, very friendly staff, good selection of equipment for a commercial gym, and music is at a perfect volume, not too loud not too quiet, barely notice it with earphones in which is great Available toilets, lockers, showers, and water stations to refill. Very spacious, only downside . People don't clean after themselves, not really gym fault as they trying to minimise expenses so it probably does not close.. Please put your weight and equipment back people, have some decency and help out, takes seconds.
Positive experience: Large gym with a good range of equipment, however you can never get on it as it’s so busy. Very grubby due to having no cleaning facilities to wipe down etc. Equipment is average at best. Too many people who aren’t really there to train, just to talk and hog equipment on their phone. No gym etiquette either. No atmosphere or sense of community. You get what you pay for.
Fantastic experience: This is an excellent gym with a large range of equipment. Excellent for body builders, runners and obstacle course racers.
Positive experience: Great bang for buck gym, I dont go during peak times (1600-2000) so can't comment on what it's like during then. I go in the mornings (0530-0715) and it's rare to not get on what you need. I've also been around midday (1100-1200, 1200-1300) and it's the same as the early mornings. My only 2 gripes hence the 4 stars are; 1. The dumbells are never in weight order and it can be frustrating trying to find what you need (labels on the weight rack may help stop this). 2. There is only one leg press machine so you may wait for this to become available.
Negative experience: Great place to train but more needs to be done with regards to the hygiene of certain gym goers. Sitting 3 bench’s away and you can still smell the stench of some members.

Positive experience: Big gym, no cleaning stations and almost none uses towels so not great.
Negative experience: gym a bit small, average, not safe, my bike was stolen at the bike parking in front of the gym and there is no CCTV
Hi, hope you are well. We are sorry to hear of the theft to your bike. In the event of theft, we advise that you contact the police so that they can open an investigation and directly assist you.
Negative experience: Dirty gym, no staff, no cleaning equipment and because there is no staff enforcing rules some members take the piss. Rubbish on the floor, weights not put away. Only here for a visit and will not return on my next visit to grimsby

Negative experience: I never heard like this gym. It is really dirty place. There isn’t any cleaning staff. Before than use the machines I needed blue roll or something but there wasn’t anything. And I ask to manager, he just shouted to me. He was saying ‘you have to bring cleaning staff’. Am I coming this gym for cleaning ? Absolutely Im not.

Robust cleaning regimes are still in place and we continue to pump in 100% fresh air ventilation, day and night, we clean on a daily basis, including cleaning of all equipment and gym facilities with anti-viral products. We encourage members to bring in a sweat towel to use after they have used a piece of equipment. Having cleaning stations has resulted in a significant increase in the amount of paper waster and we are focussed on minimising our waste as part of our commitment to Net-Zero. We are proud to be the very first Carbon Neutral Gym Chain in the UK. This is just a part of our efforts, for example we are also taking steps to reduce the amount of single use plastics in our vending machines. Negative experience: I hate this stupid gym you can't enter.peapols sits at one machine for 30 minutes, does nothing and does not allow others to use it. it's not your fault that people are so selfish. and sorry, I can't walk to the gym at midnight

Negative experience: Came to give this place a try after having a crack in June 2023, but was put of by being locked out. Was looking at swapping gyms so thought I would give it another try. Last time I came I was locked out of the gym and a member of staff let me in. Same thing happened this time, but no staff about as it was about 8.30. Basically, wasted 8 quid and then had to sit in the car park to wait for my daughter to finish her session. Frustrating thing was I then missed doing a session at my gym. There is a buzzer to buzz for help but nothing happens. No support online. Poor

Fantastic experience: The gym is ALWAYS busy but the environment is nice, girls smile at me(which is a first) and the equipment is really good, just wish there was more steps as two machines for a busy gym aint enough, get rid of the pointless bikes please

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of The Gym Group Grimsby for a couple of months now. It's a great gym. Good size, clean, spacious and has a good range of brand new quality equipment. Parking is free in a shared car park at the site. I go during quieter unmanned hours and access is pretty straightforward with the app. The gym feels very secure which is super important. Access to the FIIT app through my membership is one of my favourite things. The Gym Group is great value for money. I have been pleasantly surprised.

Positive experience: Brand new clean and fresh. The showers are pants though and no hairdryer in the changing rooms otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Good use of equipment, nice and calming atmosphere all around, best gym I've been to! Never have to wait for any equipment even when its busy. Alex is helpful when needed and classes look really good so will give them a try.

Fantastic experience: A clean gym with a friendly atmosphere. Typically kept very tidy too. Staff are on hand to support if and when you need them. Fantastic 24/7 opening times! I love that the app tells you how many people are in the gym so you can avoid peak times for quieter sessions. Special mention to Alex Webster who runs some excellent fitness classes but is also an incredibly kind, encouraging and dedicated PT. I’ve already started seeing great results with his guidance and training! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing gym, fabulous equipment and plenty of it. Very clean and spacious. I have to say, I was nervous at first, but that was short lived. The staff are second to none and have made my whole gym experience the best ever. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Special thanks to Alex Webster (PT) for helping me grow the confidence I needed to get back into fitness and enjoy it. I’ve even found other members very accommodating. Love the classes too, something for everyone and it’s definitely a very inclusive place to be. 100% recommended.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant, friendly and very welcoming gym with plenty of variety for equipment to use. The instructors are always happy to offer any guidance and advice to help suit your fitness needs. So far I've done classes with Alex, Muz and Stephen. All three of them are unique in their teaching ways but are brilliant at what they do. Stephen always has me laughing during his classes, Muz always gives a challenge and Alex is great for encouragement. I highly recommend The Gym Group Grimsby for all your fitness needs.
