Fantastic experience: Louise Owen’s Yoga class on a Monday evening is absolutely amazing! Such a calming experience, would highly recommended. Louise was so kind and welcoming, offering support and guidance throughout the class. Definitely give the class ago if you can!

Negative experience: AVOID drove 40 mins round trip, can't get in, left my water in the van, went out come back in qr code won't work. AI not so clever now is it. OK there is a sign that you 1000% will miss on your way In terrible service

Positive experience: Great equipment. Cooler than the other gyms. Staff are not around often for assistance. Men's toilets are usually disgusting, blocked, faulty sinks and at times the soap dispenser is not full.

Fantastic experience: Good gym

Positive experience: Clean Gym especially the locker rooms or changing rooms.easy access ,plenty of parking spot ,plenty of gym equipments .I am staying in Blackpool for few work days, but this gym is one the best places I like to spend my free time.

Negative experience: Gym was good to start but over the last month or so they have been leaving the front doors wide open, the air conditioning can't do it's job as there's constant hot air coming in from the doors being held open with weights. It's so annoying it's so hot in there now I'm pouring sweat. Please close the damn doors!!

Positive experience: Amazing gym, but as others have said you need to sort out your ain con. On hot days it's absolutely roasting in that gym if you're doing cardio.

Negative experience: Gym is on the small side so not too overwhelming, however not everyone is friendly. Many of the men (not all) constantly stare at females - it is beyond creepy! It does not help that all the leg machines are in a circle by the cardio area - for gods sake face them towards a wall!! The place is filthy! I’ve seen hairbands, half eaten rice cake, empty bottles, wrappers just left at machines and the amount of hair and skin over the machines is gross where are your cleaners? I have been a member a few months now and the machines have not been cleaned since I joined. IMO it is not worth the money.

Positive experience: The usual commercial gym, people sat at machines on phones for ages. Love island Wannabes everywhere. Also would it kill you to put on the air conditioning once in a while???

Positive experience: Staffless entrance very dark inside for my liking didn’t like the atmosphere

Negative experience: 24 hours, but no staff, can’t retrieve personal items as they lock up without notice , also if an emergency occurs none to contact..

Positive experience: Only just joined, but it has a fantastic range of equipment and classes. It is great that it is open all the time for people with busy schedules, or prefer quieter times, etc. It is very warm in there, the only major downside for me is that even though it is open 24/7, the changing rooms close at 10 pm, unlike other gyms. Which is no good to people like me who work til late and then can not use the changing rooms to change into gym stuff or use the lockers, so would have to go home to change first. This is not mentioned on the website.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. I'm only using the treadmills at the moment. I've not worked up to the other machines yet. Great sauna, too. I'm looking forward to the 24-hour opening so I can go earlier and stay longer.

Fantastic experience: Everything you need

Negative experience: This gym could be great! But lack of staff, poor maintenance and very selfish users spoil the place. Weights are not put away and staff don't deal with it. Cars parked in disabled and motor bays, very selfish. Dangerous equipment faults not sorted for over three weeks and counting! Drugs delt in the changing rooms, staff involved? Very poor management locally and from head office!

Positive experience: It has an all round good range of equipment but a lot of the weights based equipment seems to be designed for short people and with little to no means of adjusting the equipment as required. Also, can be a lot of people sitting on equipment while on their phones and the dumbell rack is all mixed up most times and both get be quite annoying over time

Positive experience: I have been coming to this location of gym since it was DW. I love the gym itself and I think it has great facilities however it would be improved if they extended the opening hours as I work shifts and sometimes I cannot attend. I would also like to see the pool come back as I think that would encourage me to come more often also. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. They are also encouraging.

Fantastic experience: Great low priced gym with plenty of equipment. Nice decor inside, looks brand new. Large space for functional workouts, large hall style space for classes and a spin class room. Wish it was open 24hrs.

Fantastic experience: Top Vibes. Had the pleasure of being part of this community for close to 2 years. The matrix kit does what it needs to do. There is plenty of space in the freeweights. Studio space is unrivalled in the area. The real gems of this club is the staff. Weaknesses are few but the temperature can creep up during peak times but that is to be expected with so many people working out. Absolute value for what you pay.

Fantastic experience: I joined 10 months ago and really enjoy it here. There is a great range of classes and times available. Each class is varied and offers the opportunity to work out to your own level. The PTs are very friendly and keen to help you - shout out to Megan, Hannah and Pippa.

Fantastic experience: Into my sixth week here at JD Gyms Blackpool. Can not fault the place whatsoever, amazing machines easy to use, The A/C is perfect inside the gym for this weather, the music is at a great volume and helps a lot. Very clean all over the gym, staff here are so friendly and very accommodating. Will deffo recommend this gym to others. Fantastic experience so far. Many thanks

Fantastic experience: I visited the JD Sports gym in Blackpool yesterday and it was brilliant! I’m visiting family at the moment and googled local gyms in the area. When I phoned up for a day pass, I spoke to a lovely lady called Pippa who arranged everything for me and on arrival Adrian was a gracious guide who gave me an fantastic tour of the sprawling gym and helped me find all the workout equipment for my training plan. The gym is a fitness haven, with top-of-the-line equipment and so much space! With a spin room, studio, sauna and many other rooms or areas filled with equipment, to cater to different fitness routines. The lighting throughout the gym I think is intentionally dark and ambient, creating an immersive and motivating atmosphere that sets the tone for a focused workout. It looks great! I thoroughly enjoyed my workout and I’m coming back later today to get another session in whilst I’m visiting. If I lived here, I would definitely sign up. Thank you!

Negative experience: Probably the most unfriendliest gym I've ever been to in terms of the staff and male members who granted not all, but some ruin it for the majority. I've had a young female member of staff walk in front of me interrupting a work out when I was stood facing the wall so no reason for doing that and when I looked up she was glaring at me. Now some of the male members that go there are just something else. Every time whether I'm on a machine or walking to another one I'm watched like a hawk, it's disturbing. I constantly feel on edge and have several times caught a male member staring at me in an inappropriate manner whilst doing an exercise like the back extensions or leg press making me feel unsafe. Several of them are also extremely entitled. I've had men constantly interrupt my workouts and I've had to ask them to move which I shouldn't have to do. It's basic gym etiquette which they have no issue doing for other men? I've had a man force himself through the gates as he watched me type my code in when there were two others he could have used to scan his phone,and today I had a young man stand behind me at the seated rows facing the walls when there was no reason for him to be in that tiny space behind me and the wall, breathing down my neck that I had to ask my partner to come over and put space between me and this weirdo which scared him off. I've never ever had these issues in a gym before. It's majority men who go here and it's evident. It's absolutely not acceptable behavior to make a woman so uncomfortable in the gym when I pay the same membership fee as any male member in there does. The only reason I go to this gym is because it's the closest one but I will never go there alone after these things I have to put up with which isn't right. I should feel safe in this gym. I would not say this was a woman friendly gym if you're alone and I would not recommend it.

Negative experience: Far too dark inside I thought I was in a lap dancing joint. Lack of lighting and natural light made it very uninviting to me i much prefer Cleavleys JD which is easy way better in my opinion. Good equipment nice changerooms and plenty of parking.

Classes available in dedicated rooms off the gym floor. Small Indoor athletics AstroTurf area located inside for fitness workouts. Generally clean and maintained.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant new gym addition to Blackpool. Excellent classes attended so far and friendly, knowledgeable instructors, in particular Kelda (Pilates) and Jo (yoga).

Positive experience: Cheap first month membership was handy. Good equipment. Needs more air con, though. Other than that, great.

Fantastic experience: Social distancing in place and ventilated areas. All facilities are open and instructor led classes are also in session now. The site has a range of exercise machines and workout stations to cater for everyone, from beginner to professional. Staff are helpful and friendly, ready to help with any questions or queries you may have. Access to the gym is controlled by barriers on entry and exit using your access card/code and only members are permitted on site.
