Solo60: Standard Place (Shoreditch)

Fantastic experience: Great facility, changed the way I approach training and helped a lot to get in form. Little pricy, but for me it pays off with a lot more motivation and better results. Staff is also very responsive.

Fantastic experience: Solo 60 at Standard Place is a dream and has completely changed my ability to keep to my fitness goals. The gym is as pictured and has all the equipment you could need. It provides a personal space which is secure, clean and gives me the ability to complete my workout without any waiting for others to finish with equipment because it is your own gym!! I have a busy work diary and in the past found that I regularly procrastinated actually getting into the gym. The set up at Solo60 has completely flipped that. I have a session booked, it is in my diary, and I make it there to a space where I know I can get what I need to be done in the time I have. The booking system is simple; rearranging sessions up to 12 hours before, is fair and simple to sort and nothing to me beats getting in Solo60 for my hour slot, slamming on some old school hip hop classics and getting my work out done in fully equipped gym. Solo60 has completely changed my ability to get into the gym and I cant recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Tucked away down a quiet street but very central and easy to find! Perfect little micro gym with high quality equipment, air con, and powerful bluetooth speakers. Love popping in here after work.

Fantastic experience: The facility is awesome and clean... and the registration and booking process - all super convenient! They also have a great customer service support and was able to reply/respond to my inquiries really quickly. I would recommend booking this facility if you want to continue your exercise regimen while travelling for work or vacation!

Negative experience: When you buy credits you are automatically signed up to a monthly recurring subscription. There is no box to tick or untick at the time of purchase. What you need to remember is this information is in the small print when you sign up to the app, there is no option to ‘opt out’ of this and can easily be forgotten. Having contacted customer services after purchasing a package of credits early, to then find a debit taken a few days later for a subscription I didn’t want or need. They were completely unhelpful and wouldn’t refund either one of the packages, leaving me with double the amount of credits I needed. This experience has left me wanting to source another gym facility that care about their clients and don’t seem to want to take their money without providing some for of helpful customer service.

Fantastic experience: Can see this being the future of fitness. Surprised by the high quality of the equipment and even just the room in general. Perfect for if your gyms closed and want to fit in a workout or if you and your mates want a private space to gym together. Will defo do again

Fantastic experience: Solo60 is fantastic for anyone who wants to work out in a private, comfortable, and personalized setting. Firstly, the gym has all the equipment you could need to get in a great workout. The gym is also very clean and aesthetically pleasing as it is very well designed.

Fantastic experience: The gym was absolutely amazing!! The gym was nice and clean, small details such as having ample amount of tissue within the bathroom was there. The equipment was extremely good and plenty of variation. Being able to connect my own music to the music system really did aid in having an amazing experience. I will be back, not sure when but hopefully not to long away.

Positive experience: Rather small, not so much inside but for peace and no distractions, it's a good place.

Negative experience: Unable to access the space due to technical issue with their keypad. Emails I’ve sent have gone unanswered for over a week now and I’ve still not received a refund as requested. Very poor customer service. Leaving this review in hope I will finally be refunded for a service I was unable to use

Fantastic experience: This was such a great gym experience. No more waiting for people who hog the squat rack for hours! I’ve been to both the shoreditch and bank branches, and they’re always immaculately clean with lots of heavy weights.

Fantastic experience: Solo60 is a great concept and it works seamlessly. Only small downside compared to other gyms/studios is no towel service or complimentary products, but other than that the experience of having your own gym is brilliant. It has all the equipment I've needed and is always clean and tidy, and is easy to book and gain access with the app. Highly recommend and I hope there will be more locations in the future!

Fantastic experience: Great little spot. Only negative about leaving reviews is that more folks will use it . Equipment is solid. The app (somewhat finicky) is pretty easy to use and once you’re use to it, it works fine. Also I would give a shout out to the team behind solo60… honestly any issues (from lost property, to help with bookings) they are super helpful and engaged. Each studio has slightly different equipment so if you find yourself in need of rower or bike or treadmill you can use a different gym. Uniformity of access, music and wifi mean it’s easy to move from one gym to another

Negative experience: It's essentially impossible to book them via classpass because they keep cancelling the class right after. Not a great service, can not recommend.

Positive experience: The gym at standard place is a great place to go if you want a private session and we’ll equipped and clean. Customer service line for immediate enquires is also great however, I had not realised that buying credit packages is automated monthly - I am still waiting for a response for my refund after a week or so now, so unfortunately that has soured my experience.

Fantastic experience: Amazing - been working out in a busy chain gym so decided to treat myself to this private gym, definitely recommend. It was very clean and tidy and had all the equipment I needed for a great workout.

Fantastic experience: this is a great gym and really fills a huge gap in the market based on its flexibility (no contracts/book hour+ slots on the app), private use (you even control lights/temp and bluetooth/apple tv!) and really great support from Ben and his team. Fantastic experience: Great quality product, really good to be able to have the whole space to yourself and work out with your own music playing through the surround sound Bluetooth speakers. Also super fun when inviting friends plus this makes it cheaper! Looking forward to seeing this network build across London in 2021

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful idea, especially now. Having the added privacy has been a game changer for me. Well stocked with equipment I've wanted to try, but would never have touched at a public gym. I've already added a great variety to my workouts and I'm loving it. Easy to book, easy to access, good location, and paying per use (or with credits) is so much better than a membership.
