Anytime Fitness Truro

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing gym, a truly "safe space". I find that when I am overloaded or feeling down this brightly lit and welcoming place lifts me. If you require some quiet or privacy I've never had any problems booking the studio area to either do an exercise directed by the projector screen (such as Tai Chi or yoga) or you can do your own in the lighting and music level you want. If you want company there are frequent classes, and if you want help the staff are not just helpful but they go out of their way to be so. You can hire them as coaches but they will always be there to answer little queries, and often more. The selection of snacks and drinks during open hours and from the machines is great and the other little things like the phone chargers and Inbody machine all help. There is a huge selection of cardio machines over two floors, mats for yoga etc and a relaxing space to just chill. The heart of the gym though is, of course, the weights and machines. In the two years I've been coming this has expanded from very well equipped to amazing with half a dozen more machines being added on that time without it feeling cramped. It doesn't matter if you are a big lifter or just someone toning this place will have what you need. The changing spaces are always clean and well equipped. Just a couple of final things... just to highlight the TYPE of place it is. Outside the shower area there is a selection of body washes, shampoos and female hygiene products in case they are needed, just help yourself. Oh and the whole place is wheelchair accessible with s lift between floors, a ramp to the changing rooms and little ramps where needed elsewhere. I can honestly say this place has saved me. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and welcoming staff who are always on hand to answer questions and take an interest in your training . The workout class timetable is extensive. Yoga with Maria, Sophie and Elena have been doing a great job. The gym is also very clean and well maintained. With a background in powerlifting I have found no shortage of free weights. Plenty of quality machines for resistance training and cardio

Fantastic experience: I recently joined Anytime Fitness , and I couldn't be happier with my experience so far! The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, and the staff are genuinely kind and supportive. The facility is clean and well-equipped, with a great variety of machines and free weights. I particularly love the diverse class offerings, there’s something for everyone.I am really enjoying my classes with Cameran Webb. Highly recommend checking it out!

Fantastic experience: The friendly and welcoming staff team here have made the transition into a new gym very easy. They are always on hand to answer questions and for a chat. The workout class timetable is extensive, there really is something for everyone! The gym is also very clean and the security fob system makes it feel safe.

Positive experience: The staff are very warm and welcoming, the membership is also great value for money. The only downside is not related to the gym itself. But the application. It can be hard to navigate and use and I cannot reset my password

Fantastic experience: Probably the best and most convenient gym in the Truro area. The staff are always lovely and it’s a great community feel, even for someone as socially awkward as me! My only advice would be to choose which time you come as free parking is limited, but you can park for free on the road from 6pm.

They've built not only a great gym with loads of classes, but also a fantastic community. Staff are always on hand and happy to advise if requested. I was always intimidated to join a gym - I now wish I'd joined way sooner.

The staff here are very knowledgeable, helpful & it creates such a friendly welcoming environment. Now, due to a recent event, they have taken action & have security over night. What a rapid, proactive response from the Anytime Fitness Team. The Security Officer Aaron is Top Notch, Big Bloke & He Knows His Stuff. I now feel I can exercise safely Anytime again Thank You

Fantastic experience: Went in to enquire about signing up, I have used their gyms before but not in Cornwall I was greeted by a friendly guy called Cam, showed me around and booked me in for my induction!! You get 3 free sessions to try before you sign up, discount for blue light and at the moment a £30 voucher!! The gym was clean, tidy and seemed friendly for all types of gym bunny Good disabled access and a fit up to the first floor, large showers and easy to manoeuvre if a wheelchair user They can draw up a program to suit all needs and levels of ability They have lots of classes which you can also do virtually and book the space just for yourself. Availability depends on the time of day Update: I've been going for a few months now, I've had some personal training sessions. And good circuit workouts tailored for me The only drawback is that there are only 4 parking spaces allocated for the gym. And the multistory car pack is expensive

Fantastic experience: Lee is a great guy and so are many of the other pt's and staff like cam etc etc. Good gym, clean toilets & showers and the 24/7 feature is a bonus.

Negative experience: Truro needs a bigger more looked after gym for sure in the town centre. Too crowded, poorly maintained and bad locker space. *Update. Claiming my review and other 1* reviews cannot be found as a visitor.

Fantastic experience: When I moved to truro 6 weeks ago, trains were delayed so I rang as I needed induction to go to the gym the next morning out of staffed hours. Davina went over beyond and stayed behind by half hour when she finished her shift to make sure I had my fob and everything I needed. So friendly and amazing service. Couldn't give enough praise. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: It's a great place to train brilliant trainers with great attention to your well-being and mental health. 8 months ago I had heart attack and was real not good. 9 months on I'm 2 stone lighter and looking good, even my grandad children noticed and that's lovely. Come down and enjoy all the classes and instructors.

Fantastic experience: Amazing friendly staff, with excellent knowledge. They go out of their way to really make you feel comfortable and safe, answering any questions you may have. This is definitely the place to visit if your unsure, or want to get back into fitness, or find a gym where you can seriously train. The gym equipment itself can be used by professionals right down to amateurs. Ranging from simple to complex machine/free weights. Another great benefit from using this gym is that it is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, what more can you want!

Negative experience: Visiting Cornwall and travelled 30 minutes to use the gym as an anytime fitness member. It's closed for building work. Nothing about this on their website, which proudly proclaims it's open 24/7. Just really poor communication when a small update to their site would save a customer an hour wasted.

Great atmosphere and a wide variety of classes available, also workout apps to do from home so you can train at times that suit you. Great value membership, thoroughly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Had a free gym trial and loved it. The member of staff I encountered was really friendly and helpful. The facilities were great and the gym is equipped with everything you need, including a large number of cardio machines. There's free weights as well as machines and the other gym users were really laid back and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: A great place to sweat. Formally a nightclub I now spend my time working off all those shots that seemed a good idea at the time. The staff are great, Lee, Tom, Gemma are a credit to the club. It does feel like a club, like a family. The gym has great clean equipment and there is always something to work out on. There are vending machines and coffee shops close by. I want to re emphasise the family feel. If you’re a regular you know people- Highly recommended !!! ‍♀️
